Clean & Quiet!

We had a fabulous stay at this clean and quiet rental. The building, pools, and parking were all great. The location is our favorite. We hope to stay again in the future!

Beautiful time spent with family

Everyone had luxurious accomodations. We spent many hours on the balcony, looking for dolphins. Easy beach and pool access, convenient for lunch and nap breaks

Oceanfront Sunset Views

Amenities abound at the Gateway Grand. The three bedrooms & three baths along with the large kitchen and dining and common areas provided plenty of room to relax and enjoy our stay. We loved both the indoor and outdoor pools, and the oceanfront balcony afforded spectacular views!

Spacious clean condo on OC with access to outdoor pool & direct oven access

Spacious 3 bed/3 bath condo high up in modern condo directly on ocean with access to pools, volleyball court, & beach. Lovely spot to travel to with a group. Owner very helpful & quickly responsive to any inquiries.

Fantastic Beach Condo

We loved the ocean views especially at night with the full moon on the water. The amenities were perfect. Everything you need is at arm's reach. Each of our kids had his own bedroom and bathroom. They had a great time at the beach and the indoor and outdoor pools. I highly recommend this luxury condo.

Disappointing Unit

I’ve stayed at the Gateway Grand many times with high expectations, but this unit was a huge letdown. It barely meets VRBO standards. From the moment I walked in, it was clear the space hadn’t been cleaned—debris on the floors, sticky counters, overflowing trash, and a musty smell. It felt neglected. Housekeeping hadn’t been there. One bedroom had no working lights, the beverage fridge was off and warm, and the A/C was off—unacceptable in a beachfront unit. The “custom patio furniture” that was advertised? Just two chairs, replaced by a cheap metal set. No towels or linens were provided—yes, it’s buried in the fine print, but something so basic should be upfront. The patio screen door was broken and hard to open, making it difficult to enjoy the ocean view. The windows were filthy, so I cleaned one myself and took a photo to show the condition. The washer damaged my clothes-frayed & pilled. The kitchen lights flickered like a strobe, and there wasn’t enough lighting in the unit, especially in the owner’s bedroom, where the ceiling light/fan had been removed. The decor was mismatched and outdated, and the main couch was uncomfortable. There was no seating toward the ocean view. The remote-controlled drapes failed by the second day. On top of all this, we were told to stop at the front desk and were hit with a 150 amenities fee. It’s clear this unit is just a revenue property for the owner. Stay at the Gateway but do yourself a favor and book another unit.

dream vacation week

Condo was beautiful, clean, good size for all 10 of us. Best feature was master suite with large bathroom that had a Jacuzzi tub and huge shower and double vanity. Liked that there was a laundry room with full-size washer/dryer. The storage cage, well stocked with all beach supplies was a definite plus not having to drag all sandy stuff into condo.

Amazing Brach view

Spacious condo with well equipped kitchen, walk or short drive to stores and great eating places. Perfect beach access but get your stuff set up early for best view. Everything you need for the beach! Would definitely stay again!

Great location. Great management of property during COVID Times. Great kitchen & bathrooms. Less comfy sofa. Less useful overall decor (no dressers). Less secure balcony table.

The view was astounding. The rental was spacious and up to date!

This is the first time that we have stayed here and it was wonderful. I would recommend this rental to anyone. I wish the ocean front view we had was the view I had everyday !

Fabulous!!

Absolutely worth the money to stay here! The condo looked exactly like the pictures. Plently of dishes, etc and excellent appliances. Well stocked kitchen. 6 adults stayed comfortably. Right on the beach and the owner had beach chairs and umbrellas as well as a beach cart for us to use. The owner was very easy to work with and promptly returned my security deposit after our stay. The condo met our needs perfectly and we look forward to staying here again on our next visit to Ocean City!

Wonderful experience!

What stands out about this condo at Gateway Grand is two things: 1. Elegance. It was so refreshing to vacation in a room in Ocean City that is comparable to a 5 star hotel in Europe. To make it even better, I always aim to get the best for my dollars and the price was very reasonable. The overall cleanliness and exquisite furniture made my relaxing vacation that much more enjoyable. 2. The view! The master bedroom and living room overlook the perfect view of the Ocean on the 15th floor. We really loved preparing a good meal in the fully equipped kitchen and enjoying it on the balcony overlooking the ocean.. taking in the air, sounds and view. I have lived in the area and stayed in Ocean City since a child, and this stay was especially memorable, made possible by such a lovely suite! I am recommending it to all my friends that I hold dear. Of course I had to write a review and show my appreciation where it was deserved :-) Enjoy your stay!! I know I did!!

will be back

This is a very nice place to stay! Even better than you see on the pictures. The unit had a great view of the ocean from the 15th floor. The black out draperies were very useful. Very nicely furnished and comfortable. Beautiful balcony with flower planter. The building is top class, clean and new. The owner is nice and helpful. We would love to come back in 2013.
