Grab your kayaks, canoes, and tubes to launch off your private dock on Little Platte Lake!
This charming cottage comfortably sleeps 8 guests and has 2 bedrooms, 1 loft, 1.5 baths, a living room with a smart TV, a fully stocked kitchen* and dining table, washer/dryer, a deck facing the lake and a yard with a grill and fire pit. The lake and private dock is only a few feet away from the house.
Honor, MI is home to both Little Platte Lake and Big Platte Lake as well as the Platte River which feeds into Lake Michigan. Little Platte Lake is a shallow lake which makes it perfect for swimming, floating and fishing. Both Sleeping Bear Dunes National Park and Crystal Mountain Ski Resort are less than 20 miles from the property. Within a 30-mile radius, youâll find charming towns like Glen Arbor, Leland, Frankfort, and Traverse City!
The cottage is available year-round and is the perfect get-away for fishing, hiking, water sports, golfing, wineries and hunting on nearby public land.
Raeâs Retreat is one of eleven cottages on the lake located in the private American Resort which also homes forty permanent RVâs behind the home.
There is no central AC but each room has a fan and the cottage gets a nice breeze from the lake!
Come enjoy what northwest Michigan has to offer!
