Kabinen ligger på en All Sports sjö och privat brygga och sandstrand över sjön med en lansering för din båt t och docka vid stugan. Vi är husdjursvänliga (1dog) tack. Kabinen sover 7 i National Forest. Har en vacker utsikt och inga steg eller droppar till sjön och bra fiske. Det finns ett picknickbord och gunga och Iron Skillet Corn kasta (2019 ny) och stort lägereld. Massor av Iron Skillets att laga mat med. Min gäst kommer att få en välkomstgåva vid ankomsten din värdinna violett kommer sluta med att presentera sig själv och all min gäst säger att hon är mycket vänlig och kommer att svara på något? Kort bilresa 30 min till Munsing njut av utsikten över Pictured Rocks Tours och många vattenfall och mycket. Mer .

Midway

Excellent get away to relax and unwind, do a little fishing, swimming, two tracking! It’s great because it’s midway between Manistique and Munising about 20 minutes both ways, we loved it! Lots to see and do!

Perfect stay in the UP!

Iron Skillet was perfect for our family of three and super dog friendly! Very clean, comfortable, and charming cabin with great dock and fire pit. Wonderful location on Corner Lake with access to several other lakes, fishing (for Northern Pike), and swimming. Ideal for lakeside campfires with s'mores, stargazing, storm watching, hunting for the Northern Lights, and card games on the lovely sunporch. Easy access to pontoon rental and great central location for very memorable day trips: glass-bottom boat tour for shipwrecks in Munising Bay; hiking to waterfalls in the Hiawatha National Forest; visit to Kitch-Iti-Kipi natural spring; and our personal highlights -- Pictured Rocks boat cruise; hike to Chapel Rock; and Lake Superior swimming at Sand Point! Our host, Jacqueline, was very responsive to any questions and especially kind to check on us after a big storm blew through the area. We'd happily stay here again!

Family vacation

The cabin is really nice and clean. Perfect for my family of five. Kitchen has all the essentials. Great store down the road (Midway) for anything you need. They do homemade breakfast burritos which are great and have ice cream which they are very generous with their scoops!! Enjoyed fishing (caught a few bass) and campfires. Would stay here again.

Great family getaway!

We had a great time! Everything we needed was there! Our morning coffee in the screened porch was awesome! The cabin/cottage was very clean! Perfect for our family! Jackie is awesome to deal with! We are going back next year! We highly recommend this place! Thank you Jackie!

Great UP Cabin

We enjoyed a very relaxing stay at the Iron Skillet. The lake was gorgeous and the cabin was fully stocked with all the needed amenities. The location was central to so many great hiking trails. Thanks for a wonderful time!

Awesome cottage and great location to everything! Rental manager is amazing & thinks of everything!

We had a great time fishing and relaxing at the cottage. Clean and fully stocked. We also hiked, kayaked Picture Rocks. We can’t wait to Come back again!

Lovely cozy retreat

Our family of 7 and 1 dog enjoyed our stay at the Iron Skillet. The location is perfect for access to Pictures Rocks and the numerous other sights in the area. The house was perfect for our needs and well stocked with wonderful personal touches. You can tell the owner really cares to make it an enjoyable stay. We didn’t have luck catching any fish, but did enjoy the area tremendously.

Picturesque cottage on the lake

We had the most enjoyable week in the upper peninsula, and the cottage was the perfect homebase. We really enjoyed the property, which included lounging on the hammock, relaxing on the swinging bench, drinking morning coffees on the dock, admiring the lake, gazing at the stars at night, and roasting 'smores at the firepit. The kitchen was well equipped and cottage fit a family of 4 (with dog) nicely. WiFi worked very well. Jackie answered any questions we had and was a great host. It was a wonderful home away from home.

Peaceful and relaxing

This cabin is adorable! Up to date, comfortable and beautiful setting/location. Had wonderful amenities right down to food dishes and treats for the fur baby. Highly recommend and will book again when we return to UP next.

Perfect Getaway

This place is exactly what we were looking for. The lake was beautiful for swimming and fishing. We rented kayaks And they delivered them to the cabin! This place is close to Munising and made for easy day trips. It was the perfect way to end the summer.

Iron Skillet Cabin

This was the perfect place to stay in the UP! When we walked in, it smelled clean!! It had everything from ladder ball to a fire pit to swings to sit on and enjoy the view. The lake it sits on is beautiful and so peaceful! My kids and husband fished on the dock the whole time and loved it. Inside it’s comfortable, near, clean, and decorated so cute! It’s the perfect location to visit Pictured Rocks! Not even ten minutes away is the Camel Riders Restaurant where we had one of the best meals we have ever had - make reservations! Jackie is wonderful to work with - we’ll be back for sure!

Cozy lakeside retreat

We loved our stay at the cabin. The view and the lake access was unparalleled. Convenient location, near Munising and Indian river. The kitchen was well stocked and the cabin was cozy.

Very cute cottage/cabin. The beds are comfortable and everything was clean. If you do not like cooking in iron skillets bring your own but we had no issue with that. Violetta was super friendly and helpful.

The cabin has WFI and two T.V. and has a private dock connecting 4 chain of lakes and public launch across the cabin and public sandy beach. You can rent boats from Forest Glen less 10 miles away and they will deliver boat to public launch. The cabin is fully furnished with everything from Iron Skillets , dishes , silverware, towels, lines and more.
