Beautiful property all around. The views were amazing. Property was immaculate and very comfortable. Everything we needed was provided. Kids had a blast in and out of the water. Would definitely return!

MDW Relaxation

The house was perfect for what we needed as a relaxing family weekend!! The house was more than what we expected. It had pretty much everything we needed for the weekend. The dock was great for fishing and hanging out. The lake was perfect for swimming and throwing the football!! The screened in back porch was perfect for watching sunsets and sunrises while sipping coffee. It served its purpose and that was to enjoy family and relax....MISSION ACCOMPLISHED!!

Perfect house

We enjoyed staying at this house. The owner was very responsive. It was the perfect size for our family. Plenty of space! We loved the back porch and direct access to the bathroom was great! We will definitely stay in this house again!

Great place to stay on Lake Placid

The house was clean, comfortable and had everything you need. The renting process was easy and Jeb got back to us with answers to our questions quickly. We totally enjoyed our stay.

Loved our Stay at Lake Placid

Our family stay at the Bennett’s lake house over Thanksgiving was fabulous from beginning to end. Jeb always answered all my many questions right away. We loved the large living area and the kitchen was very well stocked with any thing you might need, I was surprised but happy to even find an electric tea kettle!!! The refrigerator was amazing and I am sure it was top of the line!!! We had been told not to rent a place without a screened in porch because of the bugs and this was good advise. This house has a very spacious screened in porch with a great hot tub!!! We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend the Bennett’s house.

Lake Stay

The house was very nice and worked well for our stay. A few things not great was the smelly water. I think that should’ve been on the description. My folks had a place on that lake for over 60 years and the only smelly water we ever had was to our washing machine. All of the tap, and plumbing for showers and bathrooms were regular water. Maybe my folks place had a “water softner” or some sort of filter, I’m not sure? But I think for that price, plus extra money for Easter, it would’ve been nice to know ahead of time about the water. A friend drank out of the tap by accident, and had yucky stomach issues that night and the next morning. That is not what you expect from a highly rated place at VRBO. Also, there was one extra roll of toilet paper only, and no shower accessories. Like I said, with a highly rated place you expect a little more. On a good note, our host was very flexible with me on the leading up to the stay, and I appreciated that greatly.

Beautiful home, so comfortable and welcoming. Very clean with a beautiful view of the lake. My 96 year old mother was with us and she had no trouble getting around and thoroughly enjoyed herself. I have a very good feeling we’ll be back!

Long needed Lake time

This property is clean and spacious. Basic cooking and eating utensils as well as basic kitchen appliances. Wet bar with ice maker a definite plus. Lots of comfy seating and small end tables.Large backyard and white sandy beach.plenty of room for our family to play and relax. Washer and dryer on site.nice size screen porch with pleny of seating. Hot tub in the screen porch so no bugs.Several tvs.Entry to a bathroom and to the master off the porch. We definatley will rent again.

Loved this property

Would definitely stay here again. The Bennett’s were great hosts and easy to work with. The neighborhood is safe and quiet, and good neighbors. The lake was quiet and relaxing. The hosts provided lots of towels, linens and extras.

Great Lake House!

What a beautiful home directly on Lake Placid. Glorious sunrise every day! Well stocked home. Large screened patio for lounging and watching a pair of cranes that visited every day. So peaceful. We would love to return again!

Perfect weekend getaway

Lovely property - very clean, spacious, well stocked. They really thought of everything. The kitchen had everything we needed and more. We cooked every meal at the house - there were plenty of dishes, cookware, and the appliances were clean & new. We are a family of 5 and having a 3rd bathroom was awesome. The driveway was long and comfortably held the cars/trailer. The patio was large and screened in and had plenty of seating. It was nice having a grill available too. The bedrooms were large and comfortable. The living room had a giant couch that fit all of us & we could watch movies at night together. The dock was well maintained with a large sandy beach. Everything was very clean and nice. This was the best place we’ve stayed in Lake Placid so far. The lake was large and even though it was the weekend it was very quiet on the water. The host was friendly and responded quickly. We made so many great family memories. Thank you!

Wonderful and Welcoming

We had a wonderful time and absolutely loved the house! Very spacious and loved having the 3rd bathroom off of the living area and the jacuzzi on the back porch!! The lake had a nice beach area and the water was very clean!! Will definitely be booking again 😆
