Not What We Expected

We feel that the space is good for what it is, however, it should be more clear that this space is a basement in a larger house where someone resides. My husband and I were under the assumption the since this was a Vrbo, we would not have anyone else in the space. Technically, that is true, but we did not feel comfortable staying in an area where our things and potentially us were accessible from the main part of the house. If you are expecting that, we feel that this property is perfect for you. We just did not feel comfortable even though the owner said they would be gone during our stay. My husband and I were looking forward to a little getaway while he is deployed, and instead we were met with a situation that put us in an awkward position.

Fun wedding weekend in Fairview

Matt was an incredible host. He offered great communication, hospitality, and was awesome with my dog too! My friends and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay due to the conversations and company with Matt and some of his friends. As for the space, it was cozy and had everything we needed and Matt was available upstairs if there was anything we did need. The rain shower in the bathroom is really nice. The cows are so cute, we saw them over the fence but they didn’t come too close. And the outdoor deck with the fire was beautiful. Perfect for hanging after a night out! Great spot in the area, you won’t regret it.

Hello my Fellow VRBO'ers :-)! I've been a short-term-tenant using VRBO for me and my family for over 10 years. In 2019, I purchased my first home in Big Bear Lake, CA and started renting it out as a short-term rental almost immediately. After buying my 2nd home and moving to Tennessee last year, I decided to keep the streak going and began renting my downstairs unit in Fairview, TN. I'm a laid back, easy going host, and, whether or not I'm on the premises, I always strive to fully accommodate you with the same experience and comfort that I have come to expect from my hosts. If anything is ever not to your standards, rest assured, I communicate very well over text and will be as prompt as humanly possible to meet your needs. As always, I'm looking forward to hosting you, your friends, and family! Enjoy the View and say hello to the Cows for me :-)

Varför vÀrden valde detta boende

You will find your stay to be very comfortable and on a country road just outside the city of Fairview, TN which has the mix of a small-town feel, but has a Walmart and Publix grocery store ;-). You'll be staying just 30 minutes from Downtown Nashville, TN and 20 minutes from Downtown Franklin, TN. The downstairs unit will be all yours with private, key-coded access during your stay. The 2 rooms available each have a queen size bed and a full-sized, blow-up mattress, with plenty of floor room to fit. This makes up the sleep count of 6, 1 bathroom to share with 2 sinks, a kitchenette, and a laundry room with a large sink and ironing board for anyone that is staying longer than a few days. The laundry room will always be available to any tenant that needs to do laundry. There is a back deck that is upstairs accessible to this unit, but it may be shared with me, the owner. If I am home, you will be given access and directions to the flat-iron skillet and PitBoss smoker if you choose to cook on them.

A couple notes to be aware of:

** This is my home, where I am raising my children, and you are renting the entire downstairs, which is separate from my upstairs unit. We are sharing the parking and the rest of the property except for the separate upstairs and downstairs. If you are planning on utilizing the deck (shared space), or the rest of the property (yard, viewing neighbor's cows, etc), understand that any illegal activity or imposing behavior that make me, my children, or my guests feel unsafe will be met with an immediate eviction and involvement with law enforcement.

** ALSO, Please be aware, the kitchenette is NOT a full kitchen! There is NO stove and the only running water you have access to are the two sinks in the bathroom and one sink in the laundry room. There is a refrigerator to keep beverages cool, which is usually stocked with water. Plan on eating easily prepared meals and beverages, there is NOT a full kitchen available.
