Situated in the old medieval old town in Rue General Andreossy, a charming, air conditioned refurbished airy studio apartment leading onto a large balcony providing spectacular views across old Antibes. The apartment is suitable for two adults. It is accessible by lift and stairs, is on the second floor. It has charmingly furnished dining and sitting areas, a full galley kitchen, and a new modern bathroom. There is a new kitchen with an integrated dishwasher, fridge, micro oven, and ceramic halogen hob and a bathroom that has been completely renovated. Linen and towels are provided. The lounge has a TV inluding fast WIFI access, offering radio and podcasts, and a new couch that has an easy conversion to a very comfortable bed with a high-quality mattress. It has a table and chairs which can sit up to four for dinner. While there is air conditioning, there is also a powerful ceiling fan that ensures that the flat is kept cool at all times. There is a large balcony that provides a peaceful open-air living space. It is ideal for outside dining with two comfortable chairs and a table. A few minutes stroll takes you to the main square, beach, yacht harbour, Provencal market, restaurants, and shops. If you are travelling by car, there are two car parks close by. Antibes is also an ideal base for touring the Cote d'Azur with a direct rail link to St. Tropez, Cannes, Monnaco, Nice and into Italy. There is also a direct bus link to Nice International Airport.

Great Trip

Amazing October holiday

This apartment has everything you need for a restful and peaceful holiday. From it, you step out into the heart of the old town yet when you are in the apartment it is so very calm. It has a wonderful spacious quiet balcony to be enjoyed at all times of the day with lovely views over the rooftops and gardens. The flat itself has everything you need for a luxurious stay. I visit here regularly and enjoy it at all times of the year.

Loved Antibes...Perfect location!

Apartment was clean and had all you require for a short stay. Lovely terrace overlooking the roofs of the Old town and the Big wheel on Port Vauban. Very comfortable sofa bed and location was perfect, just step out of apartment block and you are in the heart of this bustling town. So many restaurants to choose from, great atmosphere everywhere, train station within walking distance and La Gravette beach a few minutes walk. John was very helpful when I needed to contact him. We would return to Antibes. Thank you John.

Home from home.

Having just returned from another stay in Antibes at this fantastic property I would highly recommend it . The improvements to the bathroom have greatly added to an already comfortable and well kept apartment. Everything about this apartment is of a high standard and every need catered for. It's ideal situation mean you are within reach of all transport links as well as the many shops and restaurants. The daily Provençal market is an experience not to be missed. Whether you choose to spend your days on the beech or walking the ramparts you can be assured when you return to the apartment it will feel like home. I can't wait until we get the chance to visit again.

Home from Home

This was our third visit to this beautiful apartment, and the refurbishments have added to an already ideal and comfortable place to stay when visiting Antibes or exploring this coast. The property is clean and well maintained and is ideally situated for the beach, the market and the town. We enjoyed leisurely breakfasts on the quiet balcony in the sun overlooking the rooftops. In the evening the balcony still gets the sun and is perfect to enjoy a glass of wine and a meal cooked in the well equipped kitchen using local produce bought that morning in the local market. The apartment is also within walking distance for both the bus and train stations. The owner is very helpful and keen to ensure your stay is perfect. I would highly recommend this apartment and would return. A little piece of heaven in the South of France.

We loved our stay in this super apartment. John is so helpful and very responsive to any query. Pascale is the same, there to meet us and explain everything, so nice. The apartment is equipped with everything you need, down to herbs and spices! The sofa bed is super comfy and folds away beautifully each morning to turn into a very nice couch. We spent every morning enjoying breakfast on the wonderful balcony overlooking the old town roofs and gardens, so peaceful we didn’t want to leave! A few steps from the front and you’re at either the marina with all its wonderful restaurants or into some of the prettiest squares, spotlessly clean with multiple restaurants. Johns apartment is the most perfect location for everything, also with a very handy lift! We can’t wait to return to Antibes and johns place again! Next week if my husband agrees!!

Return to the Oasis

This must be our 12th time at the apartment and with each time there comes a new range of enhancement. In this instance, the new bed and shower were most impressive. The bed afforded the best night sleep in years and is forcing us to consider the purchase of new bed or at least mattress on our return. The shower is a great new addition and as someone with Arthritis provided more ease of access. It is a joy to open the door to the cleanliness and freshness of the room and have the ability to utilise the fan when required and equally just to sit out on the balcony at whatever time of day suits, be it early morning or late evening is a joy. Over the years we have come to love Antibes for its markets, its many cafes and bistros, terrific people watching opportunities and a delightful range of restaurants. The jewel in the crown is the apartment in a building that provides a lift, small bijou and compact accommodation that provides us with an oasis where we can unwind before returning to grey skies. keep up the good work John. sincerely Elizabeth

2nd visit and still in love with the place !

Arrived home in the UK 2 days ago and thinking of when to go back. Johns studio apartment is a perfect size and has everything you could possibly need in it for your visit. It was exceptionally clean, the bed is big and very comfortable, the aircon is a bonus, although there is a huge powerful ceiling fan too. The balcony is very large and overlooks the roof tops of Old Antibes and the flowers and shrubs just add to the beauty of the view..... a perfect place to sit and chill or eat, with some wonderful French wine. The kitchen has every utensil, pot, pan, item of crockery etc. you could possibly need, although we tend to eat out while there. The choice of restaurants/cafes within a short walk from the property are endless and range from very affordable to very expensive. The location of the property is excellent to explore the French Riviera. A ten minute or so walk to the station and bus station. We,on our two visits,managed to easily visit Monaco, Cannes, Menton, Biot, Nice, Eze, Grasse ( where you can tour the Fragonard perfume factory - very interesting tour. ) Antibes itself has so much to see. Beautiful walks along the ramparts.Port Vauban is virtually across the road from the property, where you can saunter around looking at the millionaires yachts ! John is very helpful and easily contactable if you have any questions and we can honestly say his property is literally perfect in every way ! That, plus the South of France climate, to me, makes this place magical !

Great Location

John is a great host and responded quickly to our enquiries. The apartment is in an excellent location, just on the edge of Vieil Antibes, so easy walking distance to restaurants, shops, train station, Picasso Museum etc. The big balcony is fabulous with lovely views over the old rooftops and gardens.

L appartamento è in ottima posizione vicinissimo al centro e alla spiaggia. Molto comodo anche per la vicinanza alla stazione ...noi ci siamo spostati in treno visto il traffico...il treno è molto comodo per visitare tutto il litorale. L appartamento è molto funzionale e accessoriato. Il plus lo fa il terrazzo dove è possibile mangiare all aperto.

Le lieu est calme et agréable avec une vue de la terrasse typique de la ville provençale . Le studio est bien aménagé mais un effort sera souhaitable pour installer un vrai lavabo ( le lave main est inutilisable) dans la salle d’eau , des barres de serviette et une machine à café dans la kichenette ...

Have enjoyed another visit to this wonderful apartment in lovely Antibes, Very clean and comfortable and conveniently situated for restaurants, supermarkets, boutiques, beach, Marina (amazing Yachts!), and a great base if you want to explore lovely coastline along Cote D'Azur, with the train station within walking distance. Excellent apartment

The flat was well equipped for every need. The balcony was An excellent addition to the flat as no matter the weather (had a mixture during our stay) you could sit out to eat or enjoy the view. The apartment is in the perfect place to go exploring around town, going to the beach as well as a short walk to the train station which was a plus as we had tickets to the Grand Prix in Monaco. Overall a brilliant experience on the cote d’azur

Just as good as all the other positive reviews. Especially location and terrace.

Really great. John was super accommodating and had thought out all for the flat. So close to all aspects of Antibes and with location also easy day trips all around the nearby towns. Even in winter it is a great flat. Thanks John!

Very nice apartment Appartement tres agreable

L'appartement correspond parfaitement à la description. Il est très bien situé. Le vieil Antibes se fait à pied. L'accueil a été parfait et le séjour s'est déroulé dans d'excellentes conditions. Le contact avec John a été des plus sympathiques. Je recommande cet appartement.

A great base for exploring the Cote Dr Azure

A clean and well equipped studio apartment in an ideal location for exploring the old town shops and restaurants. The balcony is spacious and looks out onto rustic old town buildings which is great to relax on in the mornings and evenings. The clean and sheltered beach is only a hundred meters away. There are lots of interesting things to see in Antibes from the old fortifications to the Megayachts in the marina. Excellent bus and train services come through Antibes so there is no need for a car if you want to explore further. The owner provided excellent guidance and advice both before our trip and in the info-folder in the apartment.
