Desire was easy to communicate with and quick to respond. The apartment was clean and had everything we needed. It was close to the subway and there are shops right below with great food.

Great property, just a few blocks from the subway, and surrounded by delicious food options. The beds were comfortable, and the air conditioning worked well.

The apartment offered everything we needed. A kitchen with all the basics, we used the coffee machine and fridge and appreciated the space offered just a short subway journey from all the main sights and enjoyed the aircon in the height of summer. It felt like a good choice for our family break

Great spot in East Harlem. Very close to trains and the space was cozy and clean. The host was super easy to contact and made the whole prices very easy.

The apartment is very good for 4 people (2 adults, 2 children). Noise from the straats in the evening and early morning can be disturbing.

Great communication from the Host. Only 5-15 min walk to multiple subway stations. There was a great pizza place 1 block away and 2 different bigger grocery stores about a 5 min walk. Mattress was comfortable. Even included an air mattress to allow for additional bedding.

Although there were some technical problems with VRBO listing the wrong address and other communication difficulties, our host Desire came through in the end and corrected these problems. She was great. The rental was spacious, clean, but most suitable for young adults and children due to the gaming components and furniture that was low to the ground. This wouldn't be suitable for most adults middle-aged and older and especially people with physical disabilities. Kitchen, Bathroom and Air Conditioning were all good. Some of the furniture, like tables and chairs, are slightly damaged from usage, but otherwise OK. The washer and dryer area across the hall is very dirty and may be out of order. The biggest concern is for the general neighborhood which had some rough characters looming around. The rowdy noise levels at night make it hard for sleep. The surrounding streets can be generally dirty with dog waste present. For someone unfamiliar or not used to such inner-city environments I would suggest you consider staying elsewhere. Yet, the price point is relatively reflected and is more affordable than others. Ultimately you should choose this place if your younger and are comfortable with the slightly rougher sides of city life.

Great place and location

Really enjoyed our stay. Location was great so easy to multiple subway entries. Desire was so responsive to inquiries. Definitely would stay here again!!

Awesome place to stay with many local dining options nearby, public transit within easy walking distance, communicative host, and a close walk to Central Park. This was a great place for my family and I to stay and we are very happy that we have found a future lodging for future visits.

Amazing Stay

We had an amazing stay here. Close to transit, great restaurants. The apartment was perfect for what we needed. The host was great and made sure everything was in order. Would definitely stay again and recommend to others.

Communication with the host was great. Any questions we had were answered quickly and they were very helpful and accommodating. The place looked exactly as advertised. We had a great stay!

The listing address was not correct when I booked. The actual apartment is three blocks east of where we thought we’d be staying. The Host texted me personally instead of going through VRBO site to let me know, the morning before check in. There are no elevators. Two flights of stairs. It’s not in the safest area. We were an adult and two teens and we were verbally harassed by men in store fronts as we walked by at night. The apartment is large for NYC. The a/c blew out black mold onto the bed. The pull out couch in the game room was filthy. The WiFi had to be reset and the a/c breaker as well. The Host was sweet and her cousin, the maintenance/cleaner was as well.

Beds were comfortable, but my sister’s bed did not have clean sheets for two nights. The unit was nice for people not looking to spend much time there.
