Du hittar inte många ställen som verkligen återspeglar den sanna stranden i Puerto Ricas stränder - lite gritty, en liten gammal skola och fantastiskt för den naturliga skönheten och den gamla världens latinska charm. Huset kommer bekvämt att passa 8, med ett sovrum, ett barnrum med våningssängar och en utdragbar säng och en separat övervåningssvit som nås av en utvändig trappa med en king size-säng, flera barnsängar och ett separat badrum. Massor av uteplatsutrymme, internt bostadsutrymme är liten, men du borde vara ute och njuta av vädret! Perfekt för en stor familj eller två familjer med ett par barn varje.

Gäståtkomst

Tre stränder inom en 5 minuters promenad (och det är stranden promenader, inte stad "promenader"), stora lokala pärlor, men också McDonalds, Burger King, Pizza Hut, Chili och fastlandet stil livsmedelsbutiker inom en kort bilresa. Två köpcentra, städerna Ponce (museer, Don Q herrgård, den berömda eldstaden, etc.) och Mayaguez (zoo, universitet, etc.), surfar i Rincon, fiske och koppla av på Gilligan's Island, koloniala byn San German, Guanica Dry Forest Preserve, kaffebruk, infödda ruiner, Arrecibo, golf, kasinon och många andra attraktioner inom. 30-40 minuters bilresa.

Vi bor i Boston, tillgänglig via telefon / text / email, men har en bra vårdgivare att välkomna dig till huset och vara i närheten för alla problem.

Grannskapet

Tre stränder ett gångavstånd från huset, och några matfönster en kort promenad bort, och massor av närliggande restauranger, bensinstationer och lagrar en kort bilresa bort. Det är en liten strand stad så de flesta saker blir tyst tidigt, men det finns en pool hall ner på gatan om du är äventyrlig.

Huset är rustikt - ingen telefon, AC endast i de två första våningen sovrummen (fin bris i sovrummet övervåningen), tre badrum i gamla skolan härliga neon pastellfärger, tv och vcr / dvd-spelare utan kabel. Du kan dra en solid mobiltelefonanslutning, men förhoppningsvis vill du koppla ifrån. Comfortable, quiet, commendable ...

As an elderly couple only, we didn't need a 3-bdrm family house, but the location -- enabling us to easily split our time between lazing on beaches and exploring the western-southwestern region of Puerto Rico -- combined with the rate for two weeks were attractive.Two welcoming beaches (with ample shade) are within a few minutes drive.Kitchen is well equipped. Large "supermarket" within easy driving distance. A/C in master bedroom more than adequate.Note: aging green Mustang convertible-driving proprietress of eminently affordable restaurant within a few minutes walk of the house concocts one of the BEST Piña Coladas on Puerto Rico!Can readily recommend this house for certain travellers.

Amazing experience

The host and property manager were very responsive, thank you so much Joe and Machua! The home was nice and the outdoor space was EVERYTHING! The stars above the home at night is a must see.. If you book this place, PLEASE take advantage of the view of the stars with all the lights off. It’s really special. The local dogs and cats are so friendly!

Sunshine and sea views

Over all we enjoyed our stay in this usually quiet neighborhood of single family homes. Its just a few minute walk down the hill to a nice beach, where we swam early morning and had it to ourselves. Weekends the beach is really busy so we went exploring elsewhere, Lots of interesting destinations for day excursions We noticed quite a few people walking the loop in the morning and evening so location seemed quite safe and friendly. The house is adequate tho not particularly attractive & It could use some TLC. The kitchen appliances all worked and there is a shaded back area to hang hammocks and lots of comfortable outdoor seating to enjoy. Which we did. The front porch was very nice in the morning for coffee too. One of our favorite things was the excellent local fish market down by the dock, that was a real luxury. The caretakers were helpful and showed up when we needed them-- like finding the hidden light switches. A downside for us --we're retired folks used to a quiet rural life -- was the fancy rental house next door, which dominates the backyard and the weekend visitors who tended to late nights and loud music. Oh Well...

The house was nice it definitely needs updating. The tv did not work or the dryer. The house could of been a little bit cleaner, the bathrooms especially other than that. The house was in a beautiful location very safe neighborhood the view from the house was priceless with a little bit of updating the house would be perfect. I would highly recommend this house for your vacation to get away and relax. Thanks so much for allowing my family to be in your home

Quiet piece of heaven

This is a large, bungalow size residence with ample room for a large group. The three bathrooms, large outdoor porch and patio make it great for a hanging out and finding time alone. I would equate the house with a Super 8 in terms of the quality of the rooms, mattresses, and general accommodations. The only games available were cards and scrabble. I'd encourage you to bring your own and leave them there to enhance the space. There is a fantastic mangrove beach just a few blocks east of the house, a little access point called shark tooth beach just a half a block away. This is a great area to explore!

Great location to experience authentic puerto rico

The place is nothing fancy but it is roomie. There is air conditioning in the bedrooms which was most important. And the fenced yard was good for my dog

The location of this property was good, 5 minutes from the beach. The size of the property was comfortable. The property needs lots of base updating, which was wrongly advised as rustic. Lots of roaches all over the kitchen and we had to by roach spray and do major cleaning in order to use the kitchen.

Family vacation 2019

Second time staying at this house . Stayed for 2 weeks this time and the family and I enjoyed it very much . The house is on a great location and they did two good upgrades , new flat screen TV and AC on the second level . We had a great time . Will definitely stay there again

Wonderful home close to Playa Santa

Our three days here were not enough, we could have relaxed in this home for several more. While rustic, the place was very clean and the kitchen stocked with all the cooking things we needed. We we able to take nice walks and felt very safe. The outdoor spaces are great for just soaking up the weather and enjoying the neighborhood. There’s a nice restaurant close by called Umami that I can recommend (as well as the mojito shack by the beach)!

immaculately clean house w/ample areas for fam gathering & w/great location to enjoy PR best beaches

This house is located in a privileged spot with great breeze, ocean view and right next to the beautiful Playa Santa and Manglillo beaches. It is immaculately clean, has a fully stocked kitchen and sleeps many. The house is small but the porches and terraces are so spacious that they make up for it. The layout is perfect for bringing the family together to dine, chat,relax and enjoy the wonderful setting. We took our dogs and they were really happy at this place too. The owner and caretaker were very dedicated and committed to making our stay pleasurable. All in all a great experience for the price.

Doesn't really tell the truth

Water was an issue... there was no water or very little pressure... they say there are linens but there was no linen for the king bed upstairs... not a good place to stay with a family and children...

GREAT HOUSE

House has everything you need for a comfortable stay. The inside is small but the outside space makes up for it and more. Near enough to beach so you can walk and at the same time keep away from the noise of the crowded beaches. Loved Manglillo Beach. Lots more private than Playa Santa.

Great time and place!

We have a great time. Plenty of space with a great backyard with a bar, and barbecuing. Also great porch and two Hamacas to take a siesta. The house has towels, eating utensils and cooking utensils, just bring yourselves, food and enjoy. It is a quiet street and close to playa Santa and other beaches in the area. We probably come back again during January or February of next year. And plenty of space to dispose of the trash as well! Yes we had a great time!!! The price is a dream!!!!!

OK. It needs love.

I spent many summers with my grandparents staying in several rental houses of the area. The beaches are pristine and you can breathe peace and nature In the air. This house has a great porch overlooking the ocean and it's steps away from the beach. However, with the house in question, we had several issues regarding the overall maintenance, which was almost nonexistent. The bathrooms, specifically the toilets, were cleaned before our arrival and perhaps the kitchen sink. Apart from that, the floors, window screens, ceiling fans, bed frames, windows, tables and chairs on the outside, table beside the clothes washer, and the upstairs bedroom were extremely dusty. Dust also saturated old exposed closets filled with leftover unusable items. Everything felt dirty, as if the house had been abandoned for months. Also, several window cranks were broken, so we couldn't open certain windows; the refrigerator had problems cooling down, so water filled the cheese drawer, and the second floor bathroom tiles were slippery and unattached to the floor. The trash can on the side of the house was full and smelly and had attracted hordes of flies that went inside the house as soon as we used the front door, which had a hole in the screen the size of my hand (the same was also true of the second floor room front door). At this point, I thought to myself: Doesn't Home Away charge me a cleaning fee? Anyway, the stairs for the second floor are rusted to the core and falling apart, and they are a dangerous hazard. My first night upstairs, I discovered that the door for that room did not lock at all due to woodworm and old age. Also the TV downstairs only had VHS or DVD choices because it is an analog, so you couldn't even watch local TV, which was what my grandpa wanted. This house has a lot of potential, but it needs a lot of love. Because of all these problems, we wasted precious time on the first and second day of our four day vacation dealing with issues which should have been dealt before we arrived. We paid our money, but the parties in charge did not do their job.
