Vacker stuga med utsikt över Henrys Lake utanför US 87 i Island Park Idaho. Stugan är 15 minuter från West Yellowstone med bil och ligger 3. 5 miles från US 87 / US 20 korsningen. Enkel åtkomst till Yellowstone National Park. Utmärkt fiske, båtliv och vattenaktiviteter samt vandring etc. Utsikt över Henrys sjön och bergen är vackra från däck / stuga. Stugan är över US 87 från Henrys sjön. Det finns allmän tillgång till sjön väg från stugan och båtuthyrning finns. Det är inte i skogen men är i en underavdelning omgiven av en hel del träd. Berget bakom stugan tillgänglig för vandring är ganska vild med älg, rådjur, björnar ses intermittent. Stugan har 2 sovrum på huvudnivån, en med en kung säng och en med en drottning. Dessutom finns det en 3: e sovrum (loft, ganska privat) med en drottning säng och en 2 enkelsängar som kan rymma ytterligare 4 vuxna bekvämt. Det finns en Pack & Play spjälsäng och
liten barnstol / booster stol. Det finns 2 badrum, ett på varje nivå. Komplett kök (nyrenoverat), vardagsrum med öppen spis i sten (gas) och ett däck som går hela vägen runt huset. Tvättmaskin och torktumlare. Garage. Trådlöst internet finns tillgängligt och en HDTV med Direct TV-tjänst och Blu-Ray / DVD-spelare. Pool / pingisbord.

Observera, förutom vår hyreskostnad (som vi har hållit mycket låg för hela huset) finns det några andra skatter och avgifter som du betalar. Du betalar en bekvämlighetsavgift på 3% om du använder kreditkort (avstå om du använder check). Det finns en 8% Idaho statlig skatt för kort sikt hyra, som samlas in och betalas av VRBO. Family trip

Great Cabin and Location

Fantastic location and a great cabin. Plenty of amenities. I have been renting vacation homes with VRBO for 20 years, definitely the best home so far.

Comfortable, beautiful and included everything we needed and then some! Although it is a bit of a drive to West Yellowstone, we highly recommend this beautiful property. Everything was perfect.

First time in Yellowstone

This was our first time to visit Yellowstone and our stay at this cabin at Henry’s Lake was just perfect. Beautiful views of Henry’s Lake and close to the West entrance to Yellowstone made it easy to visit the park each day. The cabin was very clean and stocked with what you need to take a picnic to the park each day. The host was always quick to respond with any questions. Would definitely recommend.

Beautiful View

Everything we needed and more. It's like we were house sitting for a friend. The back of the house is where the kitchen and family room are. From those rooms a french door and windows provide a spectacular view of the lake and mountains. Really special.

Best stocked cabin ever

We loved this cabin. We were so happy so many things were there is was well stocked so all we needed was the groceries and we were set. It was all we wanted in a place. We spent all our time at the parks but did breakfast tgere every day and oacked a picnic lunch. Only megsyive is fireplace does not work.

Scenic Cabin Retreat

This property was wonderful! Only 15-20 min. outside the West Yellowstone entrance. It was cozy, comfortable and had great views of Lake Henry and the mountains. I would highly recommend it!

Family vacation

We had a great stay and it was perfect for what we needed. Cabin was exactly as described, check in was easy and Melodie was was quick to respond and answer any questions we had. Beautiful view of the lake from the porch and the cabin was well stocked with all of the basics you need. We spent most of our time in Yellowstone and it was an easy 20 minute drive to the entrance. We would highly recommend this cabin to anyone we know wanting to go to Yellowstone.

Great cabin with spectacular view!!

Stayed in the area for a week of fly fishing. The cabin was perfect with a spectacular view overlooking the lake and snow peaked mountains. There was a disruption in water supply for the entire community, but the property owners went above and beyond to ensure that our vacation was not disrupted. You will not find more hospitable hosts anywhere!!!

Stay at Henry Lake Cabin

We stayed from June 1-8. The view from this cabin is spectacular!! We had a wonderful time visiting Yellowstone and Grand Teton National Parks. At this time of year, we couldn’t sit outside because of the swarms of midge flies. But we didn’t have a ton of time to hang out on the deck so they didn’t bother us that much. You can still see the best view ever from inside the cabin.

Fabulous

The cabin was perfect. We were visiting Yellowstone with our adult children. The cabin was close enough for easy travel, yet far enough away to get away from the crowds. The cabin was clean and very well stocked. Very cozy with everything we needed. Gary and Melodie were great. We would definitely recommend to others and would stay there again if we were in the area!

A week in Yellowstone

We were really impressed with this house! It was in a perfect location for us to explore Yellowstone and the Grand Tetons. This house was fully stocked with just about anything you might need. I’ve never experienced that before with a rental. The views from the deck are picture worthy!! We would definitely stay here again!! I recommend it to anyone staying near West Yellowstone!

Great place for a family vacation!

The cabin was nice and rustic. It was overrun by flying bugs and that seemed to be prevalent in the area. We were disappointed that we couldn’t sit outside for all the bugs everywhere, but I guess this is normal for the area. The cabin was fairly clean, but for the price we thought it should have been better.

a perfect "get-away" spot

What a great property! It was very comfortable for our party of 5 (parents, grandparents, and 5 year old child). The kitchen is well stocked. The water pressure is great in the showers. The deck has a great view of Henry's Lake and was our favorite place to enjoy a go-slow morning. There is some road noise from the highway below, but that didn't bother us and you can't hear that at all from inside the home. It is a 20 minute drive to Yellowstone's West Entrance, but very doable. We loved getting away from the busyness of West Yellowstone and arriving at our own quiet get-away. The neighborhood is VERY QUIET! And when we had a rainy day and decided to just stay in, there was plenty of space for everyone to do their thing...play games, read, nap, etc. Gary and Melodie were WONDERFUL to work with and extremely responsive--before and during our stay. We would highly recommend this property!

Couldn't be better!

Our family stayed for one week and we loved the cabin. The view was beautiful, the beds were insanely comfortable and it was like we were at home (only better!). It is less than 20 minutes to Yellowstone west gate so we were able to get to the park quickly and spend our time discovering the magnificence of Yellowstone but be able to relax at night. The kitchen is very well-equipped and it was nice to be able to do laundry as needed so we didn't have to over-pack. There are wild huckleberries in the hillside behind the cabin and the hummingbirds delighted us every day. The cabin had all the creature comforts to make our vacation stress-free. Melodie and Gary were the best. They answered all our questions in a timely manner ahead of our trip and when we arrived they were even more responsive to answer any questions we had. This cabin is ideal for people of all ages (we had young and elderly) and everyone was comfortable. Couldn't ask for anything better!

Beautiful Cabin Perfectly Located

Our hiking group stayed for one week at the end of September and we loved the cabin. The view was beautiful as the trees were starting to change. Location was perfect, about 20 minutes to Yellowstone west gate entrance. We were able to spend entire day hiking and relax at night. The kitchen is very well-equipped. Crock pot is the best! Dinner is ready for you when you get back from a long day hiking. We used the gas grill one night on the porch watching the eclipse of the Super Moon. The beds were comfortable and the master bed had a much needed heating pad that was put to good use. All the amenities you need, especially washing machine and dryer and extra bear spray just in case! And even an iron and ironing board, which sounds unnecessary, but for scouts like us we have badges to iron on!! Melodie and Gary were very attentive to our needs. They answered all our questions in a timely manner ahead of our trip and when we arrived they were even more responsive to answer any questions we had. Also, the cleaning service contacted us midweek to make sure we had enough supplies.

Couldn’t Have Asked For More!

We truly enjoyed our stay at the cabin. It was just close enough to West Yellowstone to enjoy all that the town and Yellowstone National Park had to offer but far enough away to get away from it all. We also enjoyed a day trip to Jackson, WY and to Grand Teton NP. The house was perfect for us and provided all that we needed. Would definitely stay again!

It is a very nice rustic log cabin which attracted me from the beginning. It is well located for fishing the rivers and streams around this area and is also ideally located for adventures in Yellowstone Park.
