Place was great and host stayed in touch the whole time. The view wasn’t as good as we were hoping just because trees were in the way but other than that wonderful place to stay and very comfortable!

We enjoyed the cabin. It was very clean and had all we needed. We only had tv issue (host was helpful when asked) but I wasn’t there to watch tv, just wanted to relax and enjoy the Smokeys!! Very nice and enjoyable stay!!

Our host was extremely easy to communicate with during the entire process. The cabin was so cozy, kitchen stocked with anything you need to cook a full meal, and beds were so comfortable!

Such a cozy property tucked into the hills and perfect location between Pigeon Forge and Gatlinberg. It was perfect for our family of 4 and we made some wonderful memories for our first trip to the Smoky Mountains.

Great place to stay! Only draw back was the stairs , it was a tight fit for my husband and our dog would not go down them.

Check-in was extremely easy. Jean-Baptiste was very communicative and a joy to coordinate with. Our stay had scenic views, information given was thorough and its in between areas with a million things to do. You will NOT be bored staying here! We had a lovely stay!

My kids and I had a wonderful time in and around the cabin. Love the cabin feel although a little bit of updates to the bathrooms would make it absolutely perfect. The balconies are great for family fun and/or for individual enjoyment because of the spaciousness, outside furniture and peaceful/great views.

Very nice and clean cabin close to lots of attractions. The host was wonderful to leave coffee for us, which was so appreciated. The view is not exactly the same as what is pictured online because the trees have grown up a bit, but it was still lovely and secluded.

Cozy getaway

From the moment we opened the door, Bear Freedom Cabin was a delight! We couldn’t have chosen a better place to getaway in the mountains- plus it was no more than 5-20 minutes from Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg, and the National Park! We will definitely come back!

Bear Freedom Cabin was a quiet, peaceful place with great views of the tree tops and mountains. Great in-between place between Pigeon forge and Gatlinburg. Check in was easy and communication was great with the owner. The cabin was clean as well.The spiral staircase was a challenge for us disabled seniors but we made it. Bear activity was at a high that week. Be prepared!! I would recommend Bear Freedom.

Amazing views exactly as described in VRBO. Very clean Went to Cades cove and wanted to see a bear, but saw none. Came back to cabin and just before dark this bear came strolling by and laid down right below the lower deck, so we got to see one the last night of our stay,
