Detta vackra privata fritidshus vid vattnet ligger pÄ den pittoreska strandpromenaden i Gills Rock, Wisconsin. Fönstren frÄn golv till tak erbjuder panoramautsikt över vattnet till Hedgehog Harbor frÄn kök, matsal, vardagsrum och sovrum. De magnifika solnedgÄngarna med utsikt över Door Bluff kan avnjutas antingen inifrÄn huset eller frÄn den stora stensten utanför uteplatsen i trÀdgÄrden. Uteplatsen Àr utmÀrkt att underhÄlla med ett privat omrÄde för grillning och en eldstad.

Stranden vid sjön erbjuder fantastisk bad- och vattenmöjligheter för vattenÀlskare. Det finns ocksÄ en badtunna precis vid sjön. Fastigheten ligger bara tvÄ minuters gÄngavstÄnd frÄn en marina. Huset har ett bifogat rymligt tre-bil garage som anvÀnds som ett spelrum pÄ bottenvÄningen i hemmet (delas med en annan enhet) med enkel Ätkomst till enheten. Det öppna golvkonceptet tillÄter stort flöde mellan vardagsrummet, matsalen och köket med vackra kakel- och trÀgolv och speciellt importerade trÀvÀggpaneler. I loved the view from the property, the open space of the yard, and the coziness of the interior. Loved the fire pit and relaxing sauna as well.

Great stay in Gill Rock, WI

We recently stayed here for a long weekend. Everything was as advertised. The location is quiet and RIGHT ON THE WATER. We will go back for sure. Dan, the owner, stopped by to help us with the wifi as he lives just a few doors down. Highly recommend this property!

Great space in great location

Great views and really fun location with the lake right there and kayaks and paddleboards for exploring. The location is nice and quiet but still close to nice parks and restaurants. The ferry to Washington island is right around the corner. The bathroom is really nice and the place was very clean. The outdoor space while lovely did have a table covered in spider webs that was slightly unappealing while trying to eat dinner out there. Overall though would say this place was beautiful clean and fun and would 100% stay here again.

Fantastic view

Dan and Gretel are excellent hosts. They are responsive, the house is extremely clean and they provide many, many things to do. There are kayaks, paddle boards, bicycles, pool table, hot tub and many board games. Plus a wonderful patio with a fire pit and grill station. Thanks for a wonderful vacation.

Awesome Property

Our three-night stay exceeded our expectations in every way. The house is clean and comfortable and has everything you need. The view of the lake is stunning. We enjoyed using the paddleboards, bikes, hot tub, sauna, firepit, and pool table. Dan was very friendly and did a good job ensuring we had everything we needed. Overall, this was a great place to stay, and I can’t wait until next summer when we return.

NO PRIVACY!!! Surveillance camera in game room as soon as you enter. Neighbors allowed to come on property and use kayaks. Neighbors also stood by hot tub while my daughter was in it. (These weren’t ppl from the other unit, they were neighbors who said owner told them they could use them) Also, three yard works and owner came to do yard work while I was in hammock in wet swimsuit & towel on first full day. The yard didn’t even need it; grass was already short. No warning when they arrived. I was told to move so they could mow under hammock and around trees. Also, owners popping in unannounced whenever they wanted! Air conditioner worked poorly, moldy coffee grounds left in coffee maker, dirty hot tub with no chlorine, poor WiFi and only really accommodated 2 adults comfortably for sleeping! Will NEVER come here again!

Lovely stay

The property was very clean and perfect for us. The stairs up to the loft are very steep but we didn't have too much trouble. Our dog loved the yard and we spent some time in the hammock. Unfortunately we had rainy weather our entire trip so no sunsets, but just being on the water was so nice. It's a quick 7 minute drive to a coffee shop and a couple of restaurants: Sister Bay is 15 minutes away with a lot more options. There were people staying in the connected unit, but we only heard them in the shared garage. It was very private. Overall we would stay here again!

If we could give more than five stars, we wouldn't hesitate. After multiple stays, we can confidently say this is the most ideal place we've ever booked.The hosts are truly exceptional – warm, attentive, and thoughtful in every detail. Over our visits, they've become like family to us, creating an atmosphere that feels both welcoming and restorative. We already have next year's dates locked in and plan to return for years to come.The sauna deserves special mention – it's so incredible that we were inspired to install one in our own home! Combined with the perfect location and the hosts' care, every stay leaves us feeling rejuvenated and literally ten years younger.This is what a relaxing vacation is meant to be. If you're lucky enough to snag a booking, you're in for something truly special. We cannot recommend this place highly enough.

Beautiful home! The MOST beautiful location! We truly enjoyed staying here. Loved the sunsets. Enjoyed the hot tub and sauna. We enjoyed the clear canoe and our dog LOVED swimming in the crystal-clear water. Relaxing, serene location perfect for country walks. We enjoyed watching boats coming in and out of the harbor. Host stopped by to say hi and was so friendly! Would stay here again!!!

Best place to stay in Door County

This place is a true gem! The breathtaking view of Green Bay was only surpassed by the warmth, attentiveness, and genuine kindness of our hosts. Every detail of our stay was thoughtful and welcoming. We’ve found our forever getaway in Wisconsin—this will be our go-to spot from now on. We’re already looking forward to coming back this fall and next summer!

Waterfront dream cottage was very clean and was beyond our expectations. The amenities of the hot tub on the lake with a beautiful sunset view, sauna and clear bottom kayaks were our favorite, which made it very relaxing and enjoyable.We would definitely recommend staying and would come back to enjoy in the future.
