We came up to fish a few of the local lakes and Mark's property proved a pristine up-north feel and all the amenities a group of veterans could ask for. Incredible lake access, convenience to local bait, restaurants, and gas. For anyone with a boat who's wanting to chase abundant smallmouth and crappie and the occasional walleye with incredible blue and gold coloration, be sure to book this residence, you won't be disappointed!

This property suited our needs well. It was well-stocked and clean, with wonderful lake views and dock access as well as road access. Green Road is well maintained. The host always communicated promptly. We enjoyed all aspects of the stay at this peaceful location.

It was nice campe just what we wanted

Old but clean...plenty of room....great view of lake...67 steps to the lake no problem going down but I am 82 going up was a bit hard...all in all nice place....One think and its no bigge ...when we left we really did not know how they wanted us to leave the place...we cleaned it up towels in basket all food gone...but did not take sheets off bed...he should leave instruction on what he wants done I hope we left it ok....thanks...

This cabin is exactly what we were looking for! All the necessities to be comfortable and just enough to keep us busy on gloomy days. We were all able to unplug and unwind which was our goal. The game room was a huge hit!

Home away from hime

Fantastic stay! We felt so much at home because it had everything you needed! It was also my husband’s parents place for many years so it WAS.home to us. The grandkids are already asking to come back next year. The youngest fascinated by the “fish on the wall” that his great grandpa had catch years ago. We will need to let him try to catch his own next year. Mark was great to work with and answered questions quickly. The place is well taken care of, which warms our hearts. If you want to get away and enjoy a quiet life on the lake, book this place. We love it!!! Campfires were lots of fun.

Beautiful location , scenery in the area was breathtaking. The location was perfect on the water. House accommodation was excellent for our family of 9 plenty of bedding, towels and any thing that was needed for a week away with the family . Dishes laundry beds chairs games and other supplies needed were plan for and accessible.

Summer vacation

Amazing time at the cabin! Perfect for our family. Place was spotless and had everything we needed. The lake, beach, fishing off the dock, boating, walks on the road… all brought back great memories of this cabin and I’m so grateful that Mark is taking such wonderful care of this place. Thank you for a wonderful week! We will be back!

Great cabin for a UP get away

Great property, clean and well equipped. Beautiful waterfront views of lake Michigamme. Nice touch of (gas) wood burner stove to take off the chill. Really nice home away from home!

Cozy cabin on Lake Michigamme

We really enjoyed our stay at the cabin. The cabin is located right on the lake with a few stairs going down to the dock. It was great having a hoist to put my boat on because a couple of the days were very very windy and it kept my boat safe. The fishing on lake Michigamme was good and we truly enjoyed our stay. The cabin was very clean though dated it was very functional for our get together with family and a week of fishing. Cabin was well supplied and Mark was a great host and easy to communicate with. We would stay there again and our next Michigamme Fishing Trip.

Great Lakeside Retreat

Nice property, well setup for a decent size group. No wifi or cable, but did have a selection of movies. Verizon cell service was good. Good heating with avaliable extra blankets and space heaters if needed.
