Cabin in the woods!

This is a great place to stay if you’re gonna go tour Yellowstone National Park just a brief drive from cabin in the woods to the West Yellowstone entrance, Everything you could possibly need for cooking utensils, pots pans, beautiful kitchen nice little two bedroom quaint! Nice barbecue plenty of propane, The morning that we left, there was a female moose in the front of the cabin. That’s some great pictures. We would definitely and highly recommend this place to stay! Thanks again Mary and Brad

Awesome Cabin

We had an unbelievable stay with Bill and his cabin. The cabin was incredibly clean and new. It was refreshing to be there after a long day in the Parks. It was incredibly close to parks and town. Bill has lots of utensils in kitchen and we were able to cook comfortably. There was a lock issue and we were fortunate that Bill was able to address in a matter of minutes. There was extras of everything - soap, detergent, etc. This is one place we will come back and visit again. Bill is a wonderful person and takes pride in his cabin. Thanks again.

Great cabin

We had a great time at the creekside cabin. It was absolutely perfect for our family of four and canine companions. We explored Yellowstone NP during the day and enjoyed the restaurants and shops in West Yellowstone in the evenings. The cabin was comfortable and clean. We had everything we needed.

Close to Yellowstone

This was a great cabin for our 5 day stay in Yellowstone. We were able to make breakfast each morning, pack sandwiches for our day in the park and make dinner at night! Cabin kitchen was well stcked with cooking/baking wares.

Perfect cabin for our Yellowstone Adventures

This cabin was perfect for our family of 4. It had everything we needed and was close to town but far enough away to get some separation from the crowds. We were able to cook/grill some meals. Beds were comfortable and the scenery was beautiful. We will definitely be back!

Great place to stay! Perfect home-base for the area.

Extremely happy that we booked this cabin for our Yellowstone Park touring days. Easily accessible & FULLY equipped kitchen. Seriously, there was everything we needed & more! Attention to detail was best of all places we’ve ever stayed & we travel a lot. I will not hesitate to rent this cabin again for our family of 4. If we are traveling with a bigger crowd, I’d book one of his other properties. Search for them. I do not know this owner & went in blind based on location, reviews & pictures. The cabin is close to the road (like another review stated) but it’s not a busy road & was not a problem for us at all. The creek behind the house is a nice sound effect but not accessible for swimming. Some of our hi-lights: the hot water for the shower (never ran out), great water pressure, comfortable beds, spacious kitchen/living room, kitchen filled with more than you expect & propane grill outside with side burner for pan cooking or frying. We cooked every afternoon after hiking & touring all day. I found utensils that I do not even have in my own home. We get tired of eating out every night so we like a full kitchen. This cabin was the perfect home base for our park touring.

Cute Cabin by a stream

Very roomy 2 bdrm cabin by a stream. Beds were comfortable, lots of kitchen utensils, great grassy area to walk the dogs in. Very quiet in the cabin even though close to hwy 20. The shower head drips a bit when water is running in the tub, and kitchen faucet sprays water a bit outside the sink. A bit hard to find the road to turn into coming from Idaho. By the time you see it, you are going to fast to stop. So once you see the Super 8, prepare to turn. Manager was very helpful and responsive to questions or concerns. Very comfortable stay, would stay again. It was nice to have a kitchen and BBQ grill to cook on and not fight the crowds to find a place to eat in town.

West Yellowstone Family Vacation

This property was perfect for our family of 4. We were thankful to be in very close proximity to the West Yellowstone entrance of the national park but also have space for our 2 boys to run around in. The property was clean and had all the amenities for us to cook our meals. We went every day to visit the park and had calm, restful evenings at home. Such a cute and cozy place. We had everything we needed. Would recommend for anyone wanting to stay close to West Yellowstone.

So comfortable and complete

On the outside you might think it’s a rough cabin But just open the door to discover an up to date roomy 2 bedroom home with all the amenities—nice furniture, a complete kitchen, great beds, modern bathroom (tub and shower). The grounds outside are simple but spacious and there usia fast moving creek just past the back deck. Very private too Of course there’s a Mountain View out the front window.

Enjoyed Our Stay

My wife and I enjoyed our stay at the Creekside Cabin during our visit to Yellowstone. The cabin was very clean, we never saw a bug, and the location was close to West Yellowstone and the park entrance. The bed was comfortable and the bedding was like new. The cabin is furnished and decorated nicely with a rustic, mountain style. The cabin was closer to the main road than we thought it would be from the drawing on the website, but fortunately road noise wasn’t much of a problem during our stay. If it had been warmer and we had some windows open, it would have been much more noticeable. A few small things would have made our stay even better — a few extra rolls of paper towels (one doesn’t seem like enough for a week long stay); fixing the kitchen faucet so it works right (the aerator was missing, so the water splashed on us unless we let the head of the faucet hang from the hose); replacing a few blown light bulbs. These were minor things though and did not lessen the enjoyment of our stay. We didn’t bother the host with these things and just bought some extra paper towels, but I’m sure the host would have taken care of some of these items had we reported them. I rated communication with the manager as 3 stars because we did not communicate with the manager and so cannot actually rate that. However, the app would not let me skip that item, so I just gave it an average score.

Absolutely Perfect

This was a great little venue for our short trip to Yellowstone. Only a few minutes from town it was perfect for traveling into town, but felt like you were isolated once you were back to the cabin. All with a great Mountain View. Definitely would come back and stay here for this price point.

Great location, plenty of space

Contact with the property manager was excellent--all questions answered nearly immediately. Directions were also spot-on. The property was exactly as described in the listing: plenty of parking, beds/bedrooms, everything we needed in the kitchen, plenty of towels, clear directions on how to leave the property/check out. Loved the babbling brook out back. We were a little concerned about cleanliness--found several items on the floors, and there was a bit of hair on the pillows/at the top of the bed. And the lights in the living room and the bathroom seemed to have a short in them--they would flicker on and off at various times. A useful place to stay--not super luxurious or spotless, but a solid option.
