The fully-equipped kitchen boasts modern appliances and ample counter space, making meal preparation a breeze. Enjoy your culinary creations at the rustic dining table or take advantage of the barbecue grill on the expansive deck, where you can dine alfresco amidst the tranquil sounds of the forest while watching the sunset over the lake.

Retreat to the comfortable bedrooms, each thoughtfully appointed with luxurious bedding and ample storage space to ensure a restful night's sleep. Wake up refreshed and rejuvenated, ready to explore all that the New Hampshire has to offer. The lower level features a generous primary bedroom with an attached bathroom with jacuzzi, for added convenience. The upper level has 2 adult guest bedrooms with queen beds and a kid’s room with a twin bed and an additional pullout twin.

The upper living space has a smart TV with Netflix, Prime, Hulu options and have a family movie night! The lower level boasts a family living space with a pool table, board games and puzzles as well as a popcorn machine for entertainment.

The neighborhood is very safe and ideal for families and quiet gatherings of friends. Loud parties, cigarettes, e-cigarettes and inhaled marijuana are not allowed. Guests are expected to follow a few rules before leaving, such as putting garbage in outside containers, turning off air conditioning or lowering heating, locking doors and windows, and following the Locke Lake Association rules provided when booking..

All countertops and surfaces are disinfected in addition to standard cleaning protocol.

The porch has a protective barrier that keeps children safe.

Fire extinguisher and first aid kit are provided in the kitchen pantry.

NOTE: Security cameras are mounted on the door facing garage and the front porch. It records audio/visual when motion is detected and ceases when motion ends. It is not actively monitored, and only reviewed in emergencies or for damage assessment. We value privacy and have no intention of monitoring guests.

Located just a short drive from the charming town of Barnstead, Gunstock, Half moon lake and 9 beaches, our cabin offers easy access to a variety of outdoor activities and attractions. Spend your days hiking scenic trails, fishing in crystal-clear lakes, or simply relaxing amid the natural beauty of the forest.

From watching the sunset over the water to catching the annual 4th of July fireworks and boat parade, this home offers front-row seats to all the lakefront festivities.

When you're ready for a change of pace, you don't have to go far. The Locke Lake Community has free of charge:

• baseball diamond
• 6-hole golf course

Nearby are many attractions, including bike trails, zip lines and gondola rides. Within 15 minutes you can be hiking the famous Mount Major trail and others, or visiting Alton Bay with its marina and water-side restaurants.

Within 30 minutes, Gunstock Mountain offers hikes and skiing.

Catch a steamship crossing Lake Winnipesaukee at the pretty village of Wolfeboro.

Weirs Beach offers plenty of fun for the family.
