Cozy home

This was a cozy home, in a friendly neighborhood. Our children really enjoyed the board games, the Harry Potter books ;) and being able to walk our dog in the low-traffic street. I appreciated the well equipped kitchen, so we could prepare meals. There was a lot of attention to detail. We’re happy we chose this stay!

Surgery Stay

Accommodated our pets. A little bit of everything for cooking, entertaining, and comfort. Yard seemed overgrown with a lot of bugs.

Christmas Family Getaway

This lovely property served us well for our 2024 Christmas Unification! It was a nice touch getting an email from our host prior to our arrival listing nearby attractions, shopping, etc. Our host text the morning after our arrival with breakfast recommendations! All our needs and wants in this rental were nicely accommodated and best of all it felt like home.

Great home base, Nice neighborhood, comfortable house

Owners were very responsive and quickly answered any questions we had. They also gave suggestions for the area. We walked around the Duke gardens, hiked an Eno River trail, did an escape room, went ax throwing. The kitchen was well equipped, we ate most meals there.

Great way to stay and see Durham

We had the pleasure of staying at the Yellow House in Raleigh before we moved into our own home in July. The host, Anna was so beyond helpful and accommodating. The backyard is fully fenced and was perfect for our pups to explore in during the day! Anna even left a jar a treats for them. The house is filled with everything you could possibly need during a stay. If you plan on cooking, this place is perfect, it has all of the cooking appliances you could need and also a whole bunch of spices ready for your use! There were board games for entertainment which was a great added bonus. The house is definitely older but doesn’t feel that way once you’re inside. They’ve done a great job with remodeling and decorating to make it feel cozy and homey. The neighborhood is family friendly and extremely safe, you’ll often see families going for walks outside the window everyday. My daughter loved the swing in the front of the yard! I would recommend all of my friends and family visiting to stay here!

Niece's Wedding

Overall property is as advertised. It is convenient to restaurants and within 20 minutes drive to Eno State Park, downtown Durham and to the wedding venue. Plenty of seating-stools, bench, wood dinning chairs.Additional comfortable/lounge type seating--one comfortable sofa is not sufficient for 6 adults to sit for a movie or conversation.

Fantastic!!!

I needed a place to stay for a month while I was waiting for my house to close in Durham. The house and property were exactly what I needed while between moves. The house was very comfortable and quiet which was great because I work from home. The neighborhood is lovely with lots of friendly people, kids and dogs. I was also able to find a 3 mile loop for my morning runs. And of course, the fenced in backyard was very enjoyable for my dog. The location is really good for a variety of restaurants and convenient to everything the Triangle has to offer. Great communication with the owner during my stay. They even kept me updated when the power went out with a huge storm and let me know when things should be back up and running. Truly a great stay! I highly recommend it!
