Our stay was perfect. We had 7 adults and two kids in our group and there was plenty of room for everyone. The view is amazing, everyone enjoyed hearing the waves crash down the hill and watching the boats going in and out of the harbor. Tim was kind, prompt- a perfect host. We hope to come back and stay here again.

The rental was a great place for our family gathering. The space was comfortable for the kids and adults. We enjoyed the view of Lake Michigan and our nightly fireside chats and roasting marshmallows.

This is the best property we have stayed at! Beautiful, spacious house literally backing to the lake. Just had an amazing outdoor wedding that would not have been possible without a great host like Tim. He is responsive, gracious and accommodating. Highly recommend staying here!

We rented the house for family Thanksgiving and we were very happy with the space, location, and the flexibility offered to us by our host.Located on the lake, was beautiful. Gorgeous views of the lighthouse and water sunrise to sunset!I highly recommend this property.

Amazing property

Tim is super accommodating and eager to make your stay the best it can be. I would highly recommend this property as the location is beautiful and so is the house! Host, very responsive- 5 star host by far!

Nice property with just an incredible view! Plenty of room. Very nice area in back to host a get together. We could walk to town and enjoy great food and spirits. Master suite was huge with big bathroom and walk in closet.

Great location, beautiful view

We loved every minute of our stay! A stunning view and an unparalleled outdoor space made our stay all we could have hoped for. Equally wonderful was the easy walking access to downtown’s restaurants and shops. The bedrooms were spacious and extremely comfortable, and we would definitely go back.

Wonderful stay in Algoma!

We were in town for our daughter's wedding at The Grain Loft, and our stay at Tim's home was wonderful. The views of the lake were stunning, and the sunsets were beautiful. My husband and friends enjoyed watching the fishing boats going in and coming out. The home was walkable to town. Perfect for our needs. Would definitely stay again. Tim was very quick to respond to messages.

Short weekend getaway

Quick weekend getway with friends and this year algoma was on our list, the place was amazing sitting on top of the lake and amazing sun rise views The place was great and clean and the owner was easy to communicate and work woth easy recommendation

Girls weekend

Beautiful location, beautiful views. Home is very nice. Only draw back was beds were not listed as expected so we had to make some adjustments from what we were expecting. Everything else was very nice, clean, and enjoyable.

Algoma is a charming place

The Lighthouse Retreat is a beautiful place to stay with wonderful scenic views. It is a great place to stay near Door County without the crowds of people. During our stay we took the opportunity to walk to the bakery and ate at 2 local restaurants. The food was wonderful. The house is very inviting with many comfortable accommodations inside and outside. The beds, couch, chairs, and outdoor furnishings were very comfortable. The host put a lot of thought in creating a great place to stay.

Great stay at a great home!!

Beautiful home and Tim was awesome! No issues at all! We were able to enjoy our Thanksgiving dinner at the house and head to Green Bay for the game! Would love to return in the warm weather so we can enjoy the before outdoor space! View was amazing e en in the frigid weather!

Walkable to all of Algoma downtown. Good layout for our group, comfortable to hang out. The lakeview is beautiful, but fair warning, the house is high up from the lake. Guests should understand that vigilance(with kids especially) is required. That being said, we loved our stay. I enjoyed hearing the waves crash. Easy driving to Door County attractions. Tim was super fast with communication too.

Great Weekend Getaway

We had a great time staying at this property as a launching pad for visiting Algoma and Door County. Communication and instructions from Tim (owner of the property) was very good. On arrival we were surprised with a gift of wine and snacks from the area. The house was very clean and well stocked. The patio area was a great spot for looking over the marina and Lake Michigan. Plenty of birds to watch including eagles. Very peaceful and relaxing.
