This was a great place and so convenient to the amphitheater for the concert we were attending. All the staff were pleasant and helpful. Would definitely rent it again.

Very neat and different place to stay! Perfect for our little anniversary getaway! Loved being on the water and the houseboats are top notch! Right near all the waterfront downtown shops and places to eat. Highly recommend!

We loved staying on the house boat. Not what you think of when you say house boat. It was like staying in a villa on the water. Plenty of room, clean, decorated wonderfully, and had everything we needed. Lived being able to walk everywhere

Great spot!

The "houseboat" was wonderful. We could walk to everything, but at the same time felt like we were staying in our own quiet neighborhood. The Cove is a wonderful place. The staff was wonderful. The communication and instructions on where to park, check-in, check out were super clear. The Cove is just a quick walk to the Riverfront and all the amazing spots of Wilmington. We had an issue with one of the TVs not working (which didn't really matter to us) and the staff had it repaired the next morning. I would recommend the Cove and Florish!

A Serene Retreat on the Water

I spent seven peaceful days on a retreat aboard the houseboat at The Cove Villas, and it was exactly what I needed. The immense quiet was a gift—perfect for unwinding, writing, and simply savoring the stillness. Each morning, I wrapped myself in a cozy blanket and enjoyed meditative moments on the deck, watching the river awaken. Evenings were just as magical, with breathtaking sunsets and peaceful strolls along the Riverwalk.The houseboat itself is beautifully designed, with modern décor and some of the most comfortable furniture I’ve experienced in a rental. Every detail contributed to a luxurious yet cozy atmosphere.What truly made my stay special was the warmth of the staff. They went above and beyond, assisting me with my (many!) heavy bags from the parking lot and ensuring I felt welcome from start to finish. There was a sense of community,The immense quietude of the location was exactly what I needed to write and unplug. Evenings were highlighted by breathtaking sunsets, and leisurely walks along the Riverwalk offered both tranquility and scenic beauty.The staff at The Cove were exceptionally outgoing and generous. Despite having a lot of luggage, they assisted me from the parking lot upon arrival and ensured a smooth departure, handling my heavy bags with care.The sense of community at The Cove is palpable, yet the design offers the spaciousness and privacy essential for true relaxation. I'm already excited to plan my return to this little slice of paradise.
