We really enjoyed our stay at Lotus on Jade. Everything was clean and well kept. The bed was super comfy and the hot tub made our stay extra comfortable. Location can't be beat if you're interested in Kilauea and Volcanos park. We will likely be back.

The room was fine, though crowded with minimal counter/desk space. A single bed was strangely placed in the closet. What was disappointing was the breakfast part of the “bed and breakfast” listing. Breakfast was two protein bars and two packets of oatmeal, both of which were ruined with moisture in the cube fridge. Breakfast was not continental as the photos implied. Mention was made that more could be provided for a fee if the owners were notified ahead of time. The only redeeming quality for the property was the proximity to Volcano National Park.

The property was lovely. My room and bed were very comfortable. I liked having a refrigerator, microwave, coffee pot, dishes and utensils. The hot tub was a nice addition. It was very quiet too. Close to National Park and the small Volcano village.

On the plus side, the room was clean and well priced. Hot tub was nice, bed was comfortable with very nice linens. The bathtub was a good addition.On the negative side, the room was small and smelled of mold. There were no shampoos or bath soaps. The walls were so thin you could hear people talking softly in next room or playing their TV. There was no pool. There was not a chair to sit on in the room, no headboard to lean on in bed. Definitely not as described in the advertising. However good for the price and acceptable.
