Everything was as described. Dog friendly, right on the forest park trail, clean and plenty of space. As people mentioned there’s some noise from the those that live upstairs but it’s the sounds of living and isn’t bad at all. People who complain about it either don’t know what an in-law suite is or haven’t ever lived around people. I thoroughly enjoyed my time and would definitely recommend.

Forest Park Apartment

Lovely stay, apartment has everything you need and in a wonderful quirky location which is still very close to amenities.

Right price, but not great otherwise

The parking is difficult giving the very hilly area. Since the owners live above the unit, there was lots of noise (footsteps, talking).

Great Place

The apartment is in the basement above the house of the hosts. The hosts were amazing. At times you could hear footsteps above us. It didn't bother us at all. The house is located in a forest away from all the noises of Portland. The location was perfect for us since our family lives in St. Johns. The apartment was clean, comfortable and had lots of room. We will stay there again. A very positive experience.

Cool, secluded get away in the forest

I stayed here for a long stay and it was really pleasant. The unit is very well maintained, and has a lot of the needed equipment to cook your own meals, an easy to operate TV and an amazingly comfortable bed.You can hear some of the noises from the unit above, but they also respect the same quiet hours. They were super friendly and provide a lot of information in the unit's check-in information so communication is easy. You are really inside a neighborhood at the edge of Forest Park, so you have use a car to get to places away from the park. But it is a great way to spend your day doing other things and coming back to unwind. You can also just walk into the trails, and that is amazing.I loved this (mostly) quiet retreat.
