Escape to this delightful and rustic cabin in picturesque Piermont located in the foothills of the White Mountains. This vacation rental offers a marvelous getaway for guests right on the lake. With 2 cozy bedrooms, including a queen bed and 2 bunk beds, it's perfect for a small group or family wanting a more upscale camping experience. Nestled in a serene, non-touristy location, this charming retreat provides a peaceful ambiance for relaxation where you can truly unplug from the world. Immerse yourself in the beauty of nature and enjoy the beautiful sunsets from the lake front deck or dock while listening to the call of the loons. There is also a charcoal grill located on the deck or a gas grill for your use near where you enter the cottage from your car. There is an older firepit near the gas grill where you can toast smores or just enjoy a bonfire. Book now and enjoy everything this cabin has to offer.

No motorboats are allowed but feel free to bring a paddleboard or kayak. Also no camping on site or RV's allowed.

Beautiful lake, quiet. Minimal boating.

Could use more comfortable living room chairs and mattresses. All in all an enjoyable stay.

Hi! I own this cottage with my 2 sisters and we have been coming up here since we were born with our parents. My grandfather and great grandfather built the cottage (I think in the 1950's) and several years ago, my father passed the property onto us like his parents did for him. :-) Our Davis family has owned quite a few properties on or near the lake over the years and have deep ties to the area. My grandparents as well as great aunts and uncles would live in Piermont (or nearby towns) during the spring/summer/early fall and then live in Florida during the winter. I live in Massachusetts with my husband and two children who absolutely love spending time at the lake each summer. I love that Lake Armington is a quiet, small lake and in a fairly remote location BUT that you are close enough to go to area attractions where there is more "action" like Lincoln, NH which is approximately a 45 - 50 minute drive. Plymouth NH is approximately 30 minute drive and the "Polar Caves" in Plymouth is the closest attraction to our cottage. Whales Tale Water Park and Clark's Trading Post would be the next closest attractions in Lincoln and are Davis family favorites.

Vad som gör detta boende unikt

It's a rustic cottage which may not be ideal for people used to staying in hotels but you cannot beat sitting out on the deck overlooking the lake and watching the sunset behind Piermont Mountain. I think our cottage is perfect for people that enjoy camping and want a more upscale experience.
