Mindre än 10 minuter WALKING avstånd till Birmingham Southern College, 15 minuter WALKING avstånd till Legion Field. 5-10 minuters bilresa till UAB & St. Vincents sjukhus, flygplatsen, centrum, golf, parker, några av Birminghams finaste restauranger och nattliv.

Ett södra stilt tappninghus, autentiskt från 40-talet som har renoverats för att både ha en blandning av dagens moderna liv med en vintage layout och charm. Nyligen och totalrenoverad, en stor hög 9 ft + tak tre sovrum, två badrum historiska hus med stor främre täckt veranda möblerad med gungstolar, bänk, matbord med stolar och massor utomhus sittgrupp. Den har två bilar garage vid gränd med inhägnad trädgård för enkel åtkomst till huset utan att gå på trappan framför. Stort vardagsrum med vedeldad öppen spis och bäddsoffa i full storlek, vacker formell matsal och fullt utrustat stort kök och badkar. Rengöring av trägolv i hela. Varje sovrum har queen size-säng, sovrummet har privat badrum, massor av rymliga garderober i varje sovrum. Good choice

The host was very responsive, polite, and helpful. The bedrooms were very comfortable and the amenities were nice. There was a water pressure issue, but it wasn’t a dealbreaker. The only thing I’ll say is that some parts of the neighborhood are getting run down. I wouldn’t go so far is called it a bad neighborhood.. But it’s definitely seen better days. On the flipside, the neighborhood was pretty quiet and it’s very well located. Ubers got to us within about 10 minutes every time and we got wherever we needed to go in 15 minutes or less. Very good value for what you pay and I would stay again.

Convenient location

We came for Barber motorsports event. It was convenient to Barber and. Downtown. Place was clean and comfortable. Excellent value. Neighborhood is seemingly in transition with some nice homes being well maintained and a few that needed a lot of work and maintenance.

Nice Spring Break Trip

The House is convenient for the Interstate and thus most of Birmingham is a few minutes away.The house was built in 1935 and has been sympathetically updated while still retaining the more classic feel. Although a little early in the season it has a huge porch showing where people used to spend time before AC.The kitchen is well equipped if you want to cook for yourself.In general a great stay.

Quiet & Family Oriented

This was such a pleasant experience. Best party about it, the host actually ANSWERS the phone!!!! A few quick calls and everything was perfect! She even responded to text right away... The cabinets are filled with all the spices needed to prepare home cooked meals. Everything was clean. Loved the dining room, family room and front porch with a beautiful display of fireflies right after dusk. I won't forget this visit, ever!!!

SEC tournament

We stayed here while attending the SEC tournament Hoover. This property allowed easy access to and from Hoover Met Complex. Extremely clean. Perfect for a family!

No Urgency/No Negotiation/Not a Fabulous Location

Showed up at the property at check in. No power. Tried calling emergency contacts to no avail. Could not reach either contact and one of those contacts, the owner, had her VM full. Then contacted VRBO and they tried to help and 2 hours later the owner finally contacted us. She was trying to get an electrician over, but it would be dark soon and there were no assurances it could be solved in a timely manner. She offered another property she owned that was smaller. This new property was only 2 bedroom/2 bath. We really were stuck with this option as this was the weekend of the Bama LSU game and there was no availability. So, we took it. The condo was ok but reeked of smoke. When we asked for a discount due to the smaller size and smokey smell, she claimed the condo was in a much nicer neighborhood, as opposed to the fabulous location claim of the original property, and the smoke was from the other condos. She would not negotiate. This was a very disappointing transaction to say the least.

Enjoyable stay

The house is spacious, warm, clean and uncluttered. It is a short drive from the interstate and Downtown so you can quickly get anywhere. The neighborhood is quiet, a mixed bag of nice and older/unoccupied-looking houses. Property managers, Suzy and David, were very welcoming and helpful in showing how to open & close the automatic garage door from the inside of the garage. Check-in and check out process was easy. We enjoyed our stay. Thank you!

Great Stay!

Nice quiet neighborhood but close to Downtown Birmingham and all it has to offer just a short drive away. Spacious and Comfortable home with everything you need to enjoy your stay and a garage to park your car off the street. Large front porch excellent for relaxing, having a meal or drinks when the weather is nice. Excellent!

Beautiful renovated home

Enjoyed our stay. The porch was one of a kind! Loved all the ceiling fans and the big open hallway. Felt like a home away from home. Would definitely stay there again!

Great old house!

We enjoyed our stay at this home in Birmingham. The old house is very well maintained and updated while keeping the charm of the original. The front porch was great for early morning coffee! Very clean and well equipped. Comfy beds. It was nice to have the garage to park our car in and was a shame that the keypad outside the door didn’t work to open the garage door. Great stay overall, would rent again.

Diamond in the rough

My husband and I went to Birmingham to spend time with my in-laws . We decided to rent somewhere close by to get some quiet time . We found this lovely home 10 minutes from their home the location was on the south side in a modest neighborhood it was quiet and the neighbors were very friendly . The home was decorated with love and the touches were wonderful. We felt right at home .

Super clean and a great front porch!

The house is an older property, but well maintained and comfortable. My son and I stayed for a soccer tournament and this place was perfect for us. Spacious kitchen and living room. Beds were super comfortable. Really clean and ready when we got there. Will definitely be trying to book this again!

Cute little house! Great stay!

The house was great! It's cute, old little home and super comfortable. We did have issues with the internet router and ended up just using our phone hot spot to access the internet. We had a little issue when we arrived. They were still there cleaning 20 minutes after the check in time. I also specifically looked for a house with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms so my friend and I didn't have to work around each other in the bathrooms. I guess you have to specify if 2 adults want more than one bedroom and one bathroom. They mark off the other rooms "do not enter" so it was good someone was there to give us access to the other spaces. Once that was taken care of, the rest was wonderful! There's a beautiful mountain view at the end of the street, I spent a lot of time out on the front porch which is lovely, and chatted with the veteran next door for a bit. I highly recommend this house, just know to specify how much of the house you will need.

Very nice and quiet get away.

Very spacious, cute, clean rental. Decent neighborhood the neighbors are very nice. I will definately rent this same rental again if income back to Birmingham and it is available. It was very relaxing and peaceful. And you cant beat the price... a whole house for around the same cost as a decent motel. Dave and Suzy the owners were awesome as far as communication.. I would highly reccomend this rental. Thank you!!

Wonderful place

This home was wonderful! The hosts went out of their way to make sure we were happy. Home was beautiful and welcoming. The home was in a great neighborhood with awesome neighbors. I would definitely stay again and highly recommend this one!!!
