Vår rena, fyra säsongsstuga rymmer bekvämt fyra. På en vacker, trädbevuxen tunnland med tillgång till närliggande sjöar, är detta bekväma hem med två sovrum precis platsen för en rolig, avkopplande get-away. Det stora rummet med välvt talltak är ett perfekt ställe att samla för att spela spel eller titta på en film efter en dag på skidor eller simning på stranden. Få enkel åtkomst till Lake Michigan stränder och allt roligt med Silver Lake sanddyner. Ett offentligt däck till Pentwater Lake är tvärs över gatan nerför en kulle längs en kort stig genom skogen. Ta den snabba 5 minuters resan över Pentwater Lake på den kostnadsfria vattentaxin för att njuta av en eftermiddag som utforskar denna pittoreska by!
Denna charmiga stuga ligger i ett skogsområde med vackra sjöhus. Vuxna kommer att uppskatta möjligheten till en lugn snooze i hängmattan eller läsa en bra bok på det privata främre däck. Ett paraplybord i uteplatsens uteplats ger en underbar plats för familjen måltider. Detta är ett utmärkt läge för att titta på hjortar, rävar, örnar över huvudet och ugglor vid solnedgången. En halv mil promenad eller kort bilresa tar dig till Chester Street Park och tillgång till miles från Lake Michigan Beach, perfekt för en kvällsnedgång promenad längs stranden. Enkel tillgång till sjön för kajakpaddling eller simning är tvärs över gatan och nerför en stig genom skogen, eller så finns det en offentlig båtlansering 1/4 mil längs vägen. Även om garageområdet inte är tillgängligt för gäster finns det gott om bilparkering för två bilar, en båt eller snömobiler. Basketboll, gräsmatta spel, brand, brädspel: vi har tänkt på allt! Vandra eller mountainbike ut baksidan av skogen för att komma miles av ski / cykel trail på offentliga mark. Kajakpaddling vid solnedgången, eucre vid brasan? Kom och njut av Michigans skönhet året runt!

Weekend Stay for a Wedding

The host was fantastic with communication. The only thing we wish we had was wifi and top sheets for the beds. It’s a simple but nice place to stay. We played mancula because there was no cable or streaming on the TV, but that was fine.

Great stay!

We had a wonderful stay at this lovely cabin! Easy proximity to downtown Pentwater and Silver Lake. The cabin was exceptionally clean and well-equipped with everything you need for your stay. The beds and couches were very comfortable, and I enjoyed the whimsical decorations. Kari was extremely responsive to any questions we had. I would definitely return to this cabin again. Perfect Relaxing Getaway

Everything was great from the responsiveness of the owner to the home itself. Took advantage of the fire pit, hammock, and walking trails in the backyard. Bringing our pup with us left limited dining options and we cooked most of our meals at home and the kitchen was equipped with all we needed. Did several day trips throughout the area, enjoyed the outdoor at the house at night. Sighted a herd of deer in the woods behind the house which was exciting for the dog. If you are fan of fried fresh fish try Bortells just north of Pentwater on Lakeshore Rd. This home was exactly what we were looking for. Although we didn’t use them, was surprised to see a canoe and all sorts of outdoor games for renters available. Would be great for families with kids too.

Everything about this property was good for us, except the noise next door which is why we gave this an overall 4-star instead of 5-star rating. It was a holiday weekend so it appeared there was lots of family sharing around a campfire. Unfortunately their fun lasted until 11 or 11:30 at night long after we retired.

It’s a perfect location to hang out and have a great time

We had a ball. Spent a weekend there and enjoyed X-c skiing right out the back door! Also, Pentwater Parhway is right down the road and is absolutely gorgeous. So nice to curl up in front of the fireplace. The chalet has everything you need for a very fun vacation. Had the opportunity to meet the owner, Kari, and she’s a wealth of information about where to go and what to do. We’ll definitely be back! Would highly recommend this place.

First time renting a cottage to stay for a vacation versus a hotel. Best decision I made! I was in much need of some R&R and that is exactly what I got. Kari was easy to reach out to when I had questions and quickly responded. She left fantastic details to help find beach access, things nearby I could visit/do, and cute little tags around the home to guide me to where I could find things. I am hoping to plan a girlfriends retreat next year in the area and hope to find this place again!

Clean, comfortable and cozy

This home was clean, comfortable and cozy. We loved the space! The raised ceiling in the living room made the space feel open and airy, while the distance from the road increased the feeling of privacy. The on-site washer and dryer were indispensable. The only negative (and it is a small one) is the selection of pots and pans left something to be desired. Making pancakes one at a time on small pans was a bit of a chore. Other than that, the decor was charming and we were very happy with our stay.

Lovely rental in a quaint community

Eagles swoop overhead as you head out on Pentwater lake for a morning paddle. Deer step lightly through the forest while you sip a cup of java on the back patio. Baby owls practice taking flight at dusk. A quick sly fox jumps out in front of you as you walk down the sandy road into the pristine state game area. Sunset on the Channel Walk as friends and neighbors gather. Pentwater!

The great room with its classic 70's chalet style, original hand carved wood work and knotty pine ceiling is updated in bright white and crisp primary colors. What a fabulous backdrop to cherished family memories!
