Chalet Moderna is a contemporary residence located in the heart of the the mountains of St-Damien. Offering breathtaking views of the lake and surrounding mountains, our chalet promises you an unforgettable stay.



Inside, you will find two closed bedrooms, an open mezzanine bedroom, and a sofa bed, comfortably accommodating up to 10 people. The spacious, light-filled rooms invite relaxation and tranquility.



The modern and fully-equipped kitchen, complete with a central island and stools, is a paradise for culinary enthusiasts. The dining area can sit up to 10 people.



✦ You will have access to the entire chalet and its outdoor spaces in complete privacy, with the exception of the storage spaces.



PETS

One small dog per booking might be allowed. We will ask for more details about your dog (size) before approving. A $500 security deposit will be ask as well as a $120 extra cleaning fee + fees.



*WARNING*

Our chalet is located in a new area, so the roads are not yet paved. We advise you to come with a 4 wheel drive car with winter tires in winter and spring although the roads and the parking lot of our chalet are professionally cleared of snow.



*SOUND DEVICE*

It is strictly forbidden to party at the chalet. In addition to a security camera pointing towards the parking lot and the entrance to the chalet, there is an excessive noise detection device outside the chalet to warn us if the noise reaches a level of decibels too high. We define excessive noise as music or any other sound that our neighbors may hear that interferes with their enjoyment of the premises. The noise detector does not record audio.



*SOFA BED*

Please note that the sofa bed currently in the chalet is not the same as the one on the photos as it has been broken.



*CAMERAS*

Please note that we have security cameras outside the chalet. In order to respect your privacy, none point to the spa. It is forbidden to move the angle of the cameras or to disconnect them. This act will be judged as an attempt to hide something and therefore, will immediately end the rental without refund.



*LAKE ACCESS*

Available from May 15-Oct 15th. Access to Lac Noir is at about a 4-minute drive down the hill. The access is a small path of about 100 meters which will lead you to a dock. There are no kayaks/paddle boards available.



*TV*

We have two smart TVs (55`) in the chalet.



*FIREPLACE*

There is a wood fireplace at your disposal, you need to bring your firewood. Also, you must bring your own kindling and/or paper to facilitate starting.



*OUTSIDE FIREPLACE*

The fire pit is accessible from May 1st to November 15th. You have to bring your own wood.



*BATHROOMS*

**Make sure not to throw any baby wipes, condoms, tampons or others in the toilet, it will block our septic system which will stop functioning. A $1500 extra fee will be charged if you don’t use our toilets properly. We do have trash can in each bathrooms for that kind of trash.



**Please note that you may see small insects during your stay, when seasons are changing, because our chalet is located in a rural environment and it is impossible for us to control all the wildlife that surrounds it**
