Comfortable home on a pretty road with a firepit and a little stream. Plenty of room and a good sized deck with a grill. Kitchen fully stocked. Very responsive owner. Could use a few more lamps or dimmer switches so you don't have to use only the bright overhead lights. Strong wifi but we did not get cellphone reception there. Overall a very pleasant stay.

Came into town for the Cooperstown Baseball tournament from San Diego. The home did it's job. Great amenities. Kitchen was recently upgraded. Distance to the field wasn't bad at all. Quite secluded location. Would definitely recommend or book again.

Everything was fully stocked in the house and the house had wonderful hiking trails with wildlife around. The host was very accommodating. We felt very at home.

Overall this is a wonderful cabin in the woods. Feels very remote despite being a short drive from Oneonta and Cooperstown. Nice for a relaxing getaway.

It was a beautiful property in the middle of nowheres but close enough to everything you want to do. Even has a dollar general less than five minutes away. When there was on issue the owner answered my call right away. Definitely, would recommend it, and will probably rent it again.

It was everything we needed! The house was very clean and it looked exactly like it does in the pictures. It is in a quiet area, it was easy to get to and it was close to a lot of attractions. Joe even sent us a list of recommendations for local stores, restaurants, and attractions before our stay. There were nightlights around the whole house and even lights outside which was nice because it did get dark. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook during our stay. There were even board games in the living room, we didn't get a chance to use them but it was nice that they were there. We would definitely stay there again if we were in the area!

Stunning location, beautiful, especially with the leaves changing color. View from every window is lovely. It's more remote than expected, so try to arrive during daylight hours because it is DARK. Stream is lovely. Kitchen has recent upgrades and is very nice, beds are comfy. I mistakenly thought that the couch was couch bed- it is not. The futon is small, would be good for kids. So, be sure to check with the host before going if you'll have more than 4 people and/or don't intend to share beds. Location is very peaceful - great for a relaxing getaway. I'd love to see it during winter.

House was just what we needed for my wife, my son and myself. Very secluded and relaxing with the creek behind the house running the entire time. All sorts of wildlife around the house. One morning woke up to a deer eating by our car. We would definitely stay here again if we are back in the area.One piece of advice. There is limited cell service at the house so make sure to keep your map open until you get there. House has WiFi so you’re fine once you get settled in.

This house is on a spacious, well-priced property with a creek in the backyard. The kids can freely explore and play outside without disturbing anyone since the other homes are farther away. The kitchen is great, fully stocked, and has plenty of room to move around and cook meals. The two bedrooms are comfortable and each has its own AC unit for added comfort. It seems like the owner is a DIY enthusiast, and there are a few little things that need to be done. Also, none of the doors latch because they’re not plumb. Overall, it’s a nice, clean, comfortable, and affordable place.

Very clean and so quiet

The place is so clean and comfortable. It's very quiet and peaceful to get away from the everyday hustle. Very few cars on the road so no worry about anything keeping you awake at night. Very comfortable beds and everything you can need to cook. Grill, pots and pans, and seasonings all provided. Great communication from the host and an overall good experience. I had to get there later in the evening unfortunately, so it was harder to find and the place was chilly. Once there though I had no problems. Updated kitchen welcomes you upon entry. Some things still under construction but do yourself a favor and book this property.

This was a good location for visiting Cooperstown on Hall of Fame Induction Weekend. We appreciated the quiet area and the convenience of having a full kitchen. The home is comfortable and spacious. The WiFi worked well. Unfortunately the washing machine was not operating correctly and flooded the unfinished basement when we ran our first load of laundry. The property owner responded quickly to my text about this issue, but did not provide any help or offer to fix the situation. We ended up having to take our wet, soapy still dirty laundry (and an additional load) into town to wash at the laundry mat which was very inconvenient.

Hi Christina, Thanks again for staying with us and I am sorry again for the inconvenience of the washing machine. The appliance repair tech did return and confirmed that the discharge hose was not securely connected to the pipe and resolved the issue. I am going to send you a refund for your time and the cost of your laundry charge

Property had everything we could have needed. Super well stocked kitchen, comfortable sleeping and sitting area. And what a beautiful setting along the creek. We so enjoyed watching the deer who came in grazed daily.

Stayed here for Cooperstown, it’s about 20 min away from all-star park, so not too far. I’ll never go back (because I don’t have any more kids going to the tournament), but if I did I’d definitely stay again. Place was clean, host was great, washer/dryer in basement.
