The host Rhonda was fantastic! The room was very clean and suitable for my son and I for the weekend. Rhonda was super flexible and responsive when needed. The room had a nice TV and direct oceanfront view off the balcony. It included a high table and chairs, microwave, toaster and a nicely equipped kitchen and normal sized fridge. The 2 beds were comfortable and the AC/heater worked great. The Sands Resort itself could be a little cleaner and have some new cosmetics in their lobby, hallways & parking garage and it looked a little outdated but it had no influence on our room or trip. We felt safe and it’s in a good location between Barefoot Landing and Broadway at the Beach and only 25min from the airport and Coastal Carolina. The pools and bar were very nice and beach had easy close access. We will definitely return and stay here again! We definitely recommend.

A relaxing beach getaway! Located on a beautiful beach with a nice outdoor pool that the kids could not get enough of. My husband and I enjoyed waking up every morning and sitting out on the balcony to soak in the gorgeous view of the ocean. This location has places to lounge outside by the pool, a restaurant with tiki bar (great strawberry margaritas), an Italian Ice cart, a pizza & ice cream shop, and convenience store all on the premises. Starbucks is a short walk away as well as another burger restaurant. The room was clean, beds were very comfortable, and the room had everything we needed for our 5 day trip. The host was very communicative and provided us with all the information we needed. Just bring your towels and maybe a drying rack for bathing suits, and you’ll be set!
