Incantevole, antica villa del XVI secolo con piscina privata. Bella antico, Toscana Villa i un luogo incantevole tra le colline ricoperte di vigneti 10 minuter i auto da Lucca. Jag grandi cancelli i ferro battuto danno l'ingresso i una proprietĂ  che Ăš circondato da vecchi muri in pietra e incantevoli giardini privati. Vi Ăš una grande piscina di recente costruzione da prati e giardini fioriti. La villa Ăš completamente ristrutturata con grande gusto e originalitĂ  pur essendo il vecchio pavimento in Cotto, affascinanti soffitti in legno e camino antico. Ampio e confortevole salone d'ingresso con camino, un piccolo salotto con la televisione con possibilitĂ  di aggiungere un letto singolo o matrimoniale 2 posti letto e una grande sala da pranzo
un bagno con doccia. Una scala i pietra che porta al 1 ° piano con 3 ampie camere matrimoniali con bagno privato e 1 kamera a due letti con bagno privato e 1 camera matrimoniale con bagno privato di fronte POSTI LETTO 13 personer

The owners gave us a lovely welcome and explained everything very clearly in English. The house is beautiful and spacious with a wonderful large and safe pool, with lots of loungers, although only one umbrella. We used the pizza oven with wood supplied for us and also the barbecue. Sitting in the outdoor dining area with the beautiful view of the lit up pool and the hills beyond was heaven. The kitchen was very well equipped. Our last evening we had a great meal at Bimbotto’s in Vorno, walking distance from the house. The aircon in the bedrooms was quiet and excellent. We hope to return next year. Thank you for everything!

This is an outstanding property! And we had a fabulous two week stay with 5 people. First, the hosts Silvia and Paolo are truly lovely and welcoming. Gracious and very helpful. They went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and answer any questions. The villa is huge and sparkling clean. It was built in about the 15th century but is thoroughly modernized. The well-equipped kitchen was the center of our activity. The hosts thoughtfully provided great pantry staples. We loved the huge kitchen table so much we never used the equally huge dining room. We also loved the outdoor dining table and pool chairs. Silvia provided plenty of towels and pool towels for our use. The washer, dryer and drying racks were perfect for our long stay. The location is great. Beautiful, quiet, and close to groceries, a couple of restaurants, and Lucca. We visited Pisa, Portofino, Siena, and many of the centuries-old villas north of Lucca. Lots to see in and around Lucca. I can’t recommend this stay enough!

Paradise in Tuscany

Although impressed by the photographs and description given on the website, on arrival our expectations were immediately exceeded. The owner ,Sylvia and Paulo were really helpful when needed throughout our stay. Fabulous location,views and property. We were truly able to relax . Good sized pool which is a big consideration for us. Would certainly return and keen to explore Tuscany further.

Amazing Home from 16th Century

Amazing villa that made a trip of a lifetime!

We stayed at Silvia and Paulo’s villa outside Lucca for 2 weeks with 10 family and friends. This historic villa was beautiful and had all the modern conveniences of a current day home. The gardens and a rushing waterfall created a serene setting for our stay. The hosts were amazing, providing recommendations for restaurants, things to visit, car service and even a chef to come in for a private dinner. Every need we had was met very swiftly. The location was great only 10 minutes from Lucca where we were able to access the train station to visit Rome, Venice and Florence. I cannot speak more highly of this villa or our gracious hosts. Schedule a trip here!

Fabulous place

We spent a week here with a group of friends. The host, Sylvia was welcoming and super helpful. The house is a beautiful old Tuscan villa, beautifully decorated and appointed. The pool and outside sitting areas were well used. The lovely town of Luca is a 20 minute drive and there is a very good authentic restaurant in Vorno. We loved every minute of it. Thank you Sylvia for finally making our delayed by COVID holiday happen.

Perfect villa near beautiful Lucca

What an amazing dream villa! The hosts were the nicest people, and everything around arrival and departure was perfect. It has been such a great pleasure to stay in this fantastic house. It is much more beautiful (and bigger) in real life, than the pictures show. Also, it is so amazing to stay in a house with such a long and exciting history. All facilities, including the pool, the garden, the barbecue, the kitchen and of course the bedrooms/bathrooms were perfect and in perfect condition. The location could not be better – so close to lovely Lucca. We can only give our highest recommendations for the hosts and the house!

Perfect Family Retreat

Host: Silvia was absolutely amazing! She anticipated our needs as well as being immediately responsive to anything we needed, such as coffee for our first morning after we were very late arriving the night before! Location: Beautiful, peaceful, and easy to launch into Pisa, Lucca, & Florence. Villa: Rustic charm with everything we wanted and needed! We absolutely loved the old house. An Amazing Family and Friends Stay

The villa was perfect for our stay. The first week, we hosted our two adult children, their spouse, and our six grandchildren. Everyone had excellent sleeping accommodations with A/C. We twice hosted a large family gathering with relatives visiting from both US and Tuscany. The pool and outdoor dining made it a wonderful place to host everyone. In the second week, we had adult friends. The week included a catered dinner at the villa, all arranged by the host. It was a magical, delicious, and memorable evening. The villa is within 30 minutes by car from Pisa, Lucca, and Viareggio making for great beach days and fun nightlife and shopping.

Family visit in Vorno June 2016

Our holiday in .cimavorno was a fantastic holiday experience. For a family gathering with 8 adult and two children this was the perfect place to be. Our host Silvia is the most friendly and helpful person you could ask for. Thanks a lot for your Guiding in different matters ! The environment is so beautiful and a lot of things to enjoy. Pisa, Florens and not the least Lucca old town is must places to see. The house and the garden with the big pool was the most appreciated place during the week. We did have high expectations when we went there and they were all fulfilled . Thanks for the best week and hopefully see you again Kind regards from all of us in the Swedish family

Great week with friends

6 of us stayed at Silvia’s for a week. The house was just as described. Very clean and comfortable, great kitchen and living room. Air conditioning worked really well and the windows had screens., Got a lot of use out of the pool. The outdoor space was really good also . We used the gazebo table for 6 which was perfect for us, but there is also a long table with two large umbrellas, which we didn’t use but looks great for a bigger group. Silva was so kind and helpful, always available for any questions or suggestions. Very good base for visiting the Lucca area, Pisa, and wineries. We also easily drove out to viareggio for a beach day. I would definitely recommend this house for a group or family vacation and look forward to returning. Excellent villa. Friendly & helpful owner/managers

The villa is exactly as described. The property was very clean and well maintained. The service was excellent. They organised a chef to come and cook for my mother's birthday. They went above and beyond to help with any queries we had. The villa itself is in great condition with all rooms, including bathrooms, having recently been renovated. All my family members of various ages liked it. My elderly mother did comment on the staircase which was a touch steeper than some stairs in the UK. Most of our party did not notice this though and it did not cause any problems. The garden, pool and lemon trees were all in great condition and well kept. At the time of year we were there, the pool was in the shade from about 6pm onwards. The sun is obviously weak at this time so it was not an issue. The horses available next door looked stunning. I don't know where the horses sleep but there was no noise from them at any time - overnight or during the day. The garden and the pool are private and cannot be seen by passing cars. The villa is well located for reaching Lucca, Pisa, Florence, Cinque Terre and much more. I can confirm all the favourable descriptions in the prior reviews, save for drinking water from the river, which we did not try or ask about. Overall I would definitely recommend this property to friends or relatives. We had a great holiday. Thank you Silvia and Paolo for all your help. With best wishes.

Vi fick alltigenom en vistelse som motsvarade vÄra förvÀntningar till fullo. Huset var alldeles underbart och vi hade hÀrliga dagar med nÄgra utflykter och nÄgra "hemmadagar" med bad o hÀng vid poolen. HÀlsningar Barbro med familj.

Fantastiskt hus i vacker rofylld miljö. Vi spenderade 10 hÀrliga dagar med utflykter som vÄr charmanta vÀrdinna tipsade oss om. Men kÀnslan nÀr de stiliga grindarna öppnade sig nÀr vi kom hem igen var bÀst. Laga mat i det generösa köket i Monetstil, hÀnga vid den vÀlskötta poolen och se alla blommor och fjÀrilar, lyssna till fÄgelsÄng och forsens brus ja allt gjorde att vi fick den skönaste av semestrar. Tack Silvia vi kommer gÀrna tillbaka.

Fantastiskt charmigt hus med underbar trÀdgÄrd. VÀnlig och tillmötesgÄende Àgarinna.

HÀr har vi tillbringat en underbar vecka. Ett hus dÀr det var lÀtt att bo mÄnga (10 st ) tack vare stora sovrum med badrum en suite, stora umgÄsytor och flera uteplatser. Lugnt avskilt lÀge men ÀndÄ med trevlig och barnvÀnlig restaurang pÄ gÄngavstÄnd. Skönt med bergen runtomkring som ger svalka pÄ morgon och kvÀll pÄ varma dagar. Kort bilresa till Lucca som Àr en underbar liten stad med lagom mycket turister. Vi promenerade och cyklade runt staden pÄ den fantastiska ringmuren innan vi gav oss in bland de smala gatorna. Mycket vÀnlig och tillmötesgÄende vÀrdinna.

Vi blev övervÀldigade av hus och trÀdgÄrd. Betydligt finare och bÀttre Àn vad vi tÀnkt oss.

Vi var 9 vuxna och fem barn. Varje familj hade eget sovrum och toalett. Huset gav hemkÀnsla och var trevligt att vistas i det kÀndes som att bo i en liten herrgÄrd planterad i en fin trÀdgÄrd. Köket vÀl utrustat diskmasin redskap vi rymdes alla runt köksbord, uteplats och pool. Omginingarna likasÄ tyst avskilt. Fina vandringsvÀgar löpstigar vÀl markerade bl a till en komplett vÀl bevarad akvedukt dit nÄgra av oss sprang ett flertal mornar. Andra av oss hyrde hÀstar och red i samma omgivningar. Vi besökte kringliggande byar och stÀder korta körstrÀckor till Pisa, Lucca och Florens. Stort supermarket fanns i Lucca ca en mil bort lÀtt att hitta. Vi besökte tvÄ restauranger i Vorno bÄda en upplevelse. PÄ den ena firade vi midsommar, uteplats, bland vinrankor, god mat och en vidunderlig utsikt. Silvia Àr lÀttsam och trevlig som hyresvÀrd och person. VÄra allra bÀsta rekommendationer Äk dit.

Wir hatten das große GlĂŒck, ein paar wundervolle Tage in dieser traumhaften Toskana-Villa verbringen zu dĂŒrfen – und es war wirklich alles, wie man es sich vorstellt!Das Haus ist wunderschön und strahlt genau diesen rustikalen Charme aus, den man mit der Toskana verbindet – stilvoll, gemĂŒtlich und dabei makellos sauber. Jedes Detail scheint mit viel Liebe ausgewĂ€hlt worden zu sein, von der geschmackvollen Einrichtung bis zum gepflegten Garten.Ein absolutes Highlight ist der große Pool – eine Oase der Entspannung mit herrlichem Blick auf die umliegenden HĂŒgel. Ob morgens zum Wachwerden oder abends bei Sonnenuntergang – es war jedes Mal ein Genuss.Besonders idyllisch macht das Ganze das leise Rauschen des Bachs, der direkt neben dem GrundstĂŒck entlangfließt. Dieses natĂŒrliche GerĂ€usch begleitet einen fast den ganzen Tag und sorgt fĂŒr eine herrlich beruhigende AtmosphĂ€re.Ein weiterer Pluspunkt: In nur 10 Minuten zu Fuß erreicht man ein fantastisches Restaurant mit typischer toskanischer KĂŒche – absolut empfehlenswert und ideal fĂŒr einen genussvollen Abend ganz ohne Auto.Ein riesiges Dankeschön geht an unsere Gastgeberin, die nicht nur super freundlich und herzlich war, sondern uns auch jederzeit mit Rat und Tat zur Seite stand. Man merkt sofort, dass ihr das Wohl ihrer GĂ€ste wirklich am Herzen liegt.Fazit: Wer Ruhe, Natur, italienisches LebensgefĂŒhl und ein stilvolles Zuhause auf Zeit sucht, wird hier wunschlos glĂŒcklich. Wir kommen ganz sicher wieder!

Fantastic Family Vacation!

This was a fantastic place for my family to vacation in Tuscany. The villa had great charm and was very well appointed. Everything you needed was there and available. We made some great dinners both in the kitchen and out on the charcoal grill. We also had a catered dinner arranged by Silvia that made for a very special night. The pool was fantastic and there was lots of space within the property for everyone to find their own spot to relax. Silvia was a great host! She was always available if there was anything you needed or had any questions about the area. The place itself is a little remote so it would help if you had a car. But if you don't have a car Silvia had recommended Roman's car service and it is a great option. We used his service for tours and just to take day trips to Pisa, Lucca, and Florence. Thank you Silvia for all you did to make this a great trip for me and my family!

We had a wonderful week in Vorno. Silvia is a wonderful host. She loves the house and is super helpful at all times. She made the hand over of the house, in both directions, a very pleasant and short affair. We will come back
