Great Summer Vaca

This was our families 8th trip in 6 years to this condo. It never disappoints. Pool water and ocean were great this time of year. The pool security at times were extremely strict. Almost felt like we were being picked on at times. First time they have ever acted that way towards us. Otherwise, we had a blast.

Rude employees

Had to wait for elevator 20 min at a time. Rude employees around the pool area , showed favoritism when getting pool chairs. Waited until 8:00 like they asked but they allowed others to get chairs and never said anything to them. The ones running the food shop by the pool was very nice and courteous. Food was great.

Grad Week

Wasn’t the ideal time to stay there. It was grad week but I brought my grad. The beach was amazing. The elevators were crazy busy. The condo was very nice. I would like to get closer to the ground floor next trip. I don’t mind the stairs but I don’t think I can make it up 17 flights.

Just what we needed!

We had planned our spring break trip last november, and we were so excited leading up to this trip. Not only was the communication with the manager super easy, they were transparent about all questions I asked. The condo was just the right size for 5 girls to stay for a spring break week, and we had the best time. Location is super convenient, as it's only a walk through the pool area towards the beach. For a couple of college girls, we enjoyed our time thoroughly. I recommend staying here 100%!

Love this condo

Just spent 6 nights at PCB. Love this condo. Everything was great. Property management checked in with us just to make sure everything was good. Don’t sweat the small stuff like parking… plenty of spaces just may have you look for one. Elevators were really not too bad. One night was kind of a long wait… 30 minutes but they were having issues. The property itself and the beach is gorgeous so if you are on the fence…Book it!!!

The view was fabulous. The elevators and parking deck are not great. Assigned parking spot would have been nice. Could use some deep cleaning especially in bathrooms. Overall my family enjoyed the space itself. Loved the balcony.

Vacation during a pandemic

We enjoyed our vacation at the Shores of Panama. There were 3 of us, my husband & me and our 21-year old daughter. Everyone enjoyed the beautiful pool, hot tub and of course the beautiful view from our balcony. The weather was beautiful but the gulf was still cold. Had a great relaxing time, never worried about COVID. Condo was clean and we were safe.

August 2020 Stay

Rom 1714, Great Location, really pleasand and clean condo, love the decorations and the view from the condo its really nice I enjoyed every day, but the thing that makes this such a good place to stay are the staff from Book that condo especially Mallory she was on top of everything since day 1, all the people in the Shore of Panama was helpul and generous with their time and advices. I been seen a lot bad reviews, especially about the elevator, I want to tell you I never have a problem with that, because I always avoid the busy time, and I used correctly, the problem is most of the people over capacity the elevator and with heavy stuff too and of curse elevator can get stuck and take a lot of time to work againg or people get stuck inside, recommendation Use the elevator properly, beside that I had a great experience and of curse I will back..

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was somewhat unhappy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Some units do not have parking spot reserved. For the rest of us, had to drive up and down of 12-floor garage. Garage is very tiny. Hard to pass incoming van or pickup truck, somebody has to wait or back up. Very low ceilings, if you have luggage in the top of your van, it won’t fit inside the garage. Room was not ready at 4, I think they were very busy that day. The room itself was so-so. Kind of beat up trim, walls and doors. Didn’t have essentials like Keurig, beach chairs, etc. Make sure to read carefully what your unit has or doesn’t have. WiFi didn’t work half of the time. On the beach, everything costs money. Pay to rent umbrellas, chairs, everything. A lot of people, too crowded. Outdoor pool is nice, but also always crowded, could never get an empty pool chair. Too many people. Elevators are disaster. Probably the worst part of the stay. Could never catch one with enough room for our family of five, no matter how long were waiting. At least one or two elevators were not operational every single day. Some elevators skip floors. A lot of times we had to take stairs. Make sure you are not on 23-rd floor.

Disappointing

Rating Details: The vacation rental was clean. I was somewhat unhappy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Though the rate was decent, that was about the only thing during the trip. The condo was clean, but pictures had been broken and it looked like it was not kept up well. There is no cable so if you do not have Netflix or Hulu you won't be watching TV. The view was very nice but Shores of Panama is not being kept up very nicely. There is at least a 30 min wait for the elevators and two of them do not get off on the 17th floor so you have to walk up or down a flight just to get to your room. While we were there the police were called multiple times on other guests so we will not be staying at the Shores of Panama anymore. We were told to call a number and get discount/free tickets to some attractions. After calling and waiting the first two days I asked to be called back and my phone call was never returned so we were not able to take advantage of the "opportunities".

Booking staff are very friendly and helpful. Condo itself needs some maintenance. Carpet, king bed mattress, shower curtains need replacing. Only 3-4 bowls or coffee cups. Resort and beach at this location is too crowded
