We enjoyed our stay. Location was excellent and the host was a very good communicator. The kit Chen was well equipped. We had access to laundry facilities and a well fenced and maintained backyard.

Well designed, tastefully decorated

The Home Suite Home is spacious, well-stocked with dishes, utensils and various appliances. Everything we needed was there for a two-week stay with our dog. We could walk to various beaches or to downtown Sidney. A five minute drive took us to Horth Hill for walks in the forest. Five minutes in the other direction took us to Lochside Drive by the ocean. Our hosts were very pleasant, welcoming, helpful and respectful.

1 bedroom with fully-equipped kitchen.

Tara was a very welcoming host and always available if I had any questions. Most of my dinners were eaten out, but the kitchen was fully-equipped for the meals that I prepared (breakfast, re-heating leftover dinners etc.) I'm a walker, so the short (12 minute) walk to downtown was easy. The bed was comfy, but the pillows were too flat for my liking. Next time I'll bring my own. :-) I would definitely stay here again!

just perfect for my husband, myself and our dog

Tara is an awesome host. Whatever we needed and more was provided. The property was as described (no disappointments here). The suite is comfortable. Everything is here. I appreciated the full size stove and oven, easy access to the washer and dryer, the dishwasher ,fireplace and large TV cable choices that please my husband. The neighbours have been welcoming. It is a nice place to spend your time. We would definitely recommend to family and friends. Pat and Rick

Fantastic stay! Smooth check-in. Kitchen had everything we needed to prepare any meal. Tera is a Gardener and Dan enjoys fishing. They gladly shared their bounties with us, very greatful!!

Perfect Sidney getaway suite

Tara was an excellent host, the suite is clean, stylish and has everything you need - comfy bed, great shower, fully equipped kitchen and an easy 15 minute walk to the shops and restaurants of Sidney .Really great fish & chip and Indian restaurants within a 3-5 minute walk. Also great safe bike storage provided for our ebikes! Totally enjoyable stay.

Sidney’s Best!!

Tara’s suite is a wonderful home away from home! It was perfect for all of our needs, just a short walk from downtown, with a beautiful property and fantastic garden! The suite is cosy and roomy at the same time, with a well appointed kitchen. A private patio with BBQ is also available for cooking and relaxing. We highly recommend this VRBO property!!!

Having had a wonderful stay at this property in April 2023, we booked again this year (2024), and we were not disappointed! Another great experience: clean and charming premises, fully-equipped and serviced so that one has everything one needs, and a charming and attentive host. The environs were quite and secluded with easy access to Sidney's wider facilities and waterfronts. A prefect place for us visiting our son who lives nearby. We thoroughly recommend it.

We enjoyed our stay in our ground floor rental suite. The location was perfect; walking distance to downtown Sidney and close to public access beaches. The suite had all the amenities we expected plus a comfortable patio sitting area. Tara was a very approachable host and was quick to resolve the issues with the suite that occurred. Especially enjoyed some of the produce of her garden she gave us samples of. Hope to come again. Wayne & Monica

Quiet little spot!

We really enjoyed our stay at Tara's property! The basement suite was very clean and organized and had all the supplies we needed and more! We also appreciated the little private patio out the door. Quite simply the best experience possible

This property was perfect in every way for our five-week stay. The space was designed by our fabulous host,Tara, and shows a professional understanding of how to maximize space. The layout and lighting were excellent. The kitchen is very well-equipped and well-stocked, and the cozy but bright living room provided many evenings of TV watching (Netflix included!), game playing and reading. Our little dog, Bandit, settled right in to his new, temporary home and enjoyed his play times with Tara and Dan's sweet little dog, Penny. The fully-fenced yard gave Bandit a safe, new environment to explore and play in. We did not take advantage of our private patio because of the cool temperatures, but we did use the barbecue on a couple of occasions. An under-deck storage area allowed us to store our ebikes securely when we were not using them to explore beautiful Sidney by the Sea. The property is located on a quiet cul-de-sac about a 20-minute walk to downtown Sidney, and there are numerous access points to the harbour within easy walking distance. Which brings me to the host. Tara is quite simply one of the loveliest people you will ever meet, and a superb host. She welcomed us warmly, and throughout our stay was gracious, generous and kind. Whatever we needed, she provided. Honestly, this property is as good as it gets. Better, even!

Just perfect

The property was ideal for us, just the right size for two, everything laid on in the way of white goods, kitchen equipment, etc, The owner was very attentive and relaxed, catering for our every need. The outdoor space was lovely to relax in. We stayed here because it was close to my son who lives in Sidney, and he too was mightily impressed. Coastal walks along Roberts Bay and Shoal bird reserve are nearby and there is even a wonderful fish and chips place just down the road. We’ll be back!
