As you were aware at the time of booking, and for the benefit of potential future guests reading this review, our house has one shower room shared between two twin bedrooms plus an en suite bathroom with a shower over the bath. It’s all explained in our advert on Vrbo and includes photos.

Thank you for your very kind words and we’re very pleased to hear you had a lovely time. The Land-Train only runs during the summer season and it’s easy to get addicted to waving to it as it goes past. It’s also worth stopping it and getting on for the circular route - you don’t need to get a ticket in advance as it stops at the pay kiosk on its way around. We’d be delighted to welcome you back in the future.

Dear Vitor, Thank you for taking time to review your stay at our property. We are sorry to read that you had issues with ants and some air con units but are disappointed that you did not give us the opportunity to address these problems during your stay. I have been in contact with my agents who met you and are also responsible for the cleaning and management of our property. Despite you finding them 'friendly', you did not contact them or myself at all during your stay to alert us to either of these issues. My agents advised you on check-in that they are on call 24 hours a day and invited you to message them at any time if you had and concerns. All properties have issues from time to time and, when we are made away of any, we take immediate action to call the appropriate engineer/cleaner/maintenance person as needed. We also have access to emergency free standing air con units in such circumstances. Had you called us about these matters, we could have take swift action to ensure you had a more pleasant stay. This is why we have always had 4 and 5 star reviews over the 18 years we have owned and rented this house. Regrettably I have no control over the amount of shells on the very popular, blue flag beaches or the quality of restaurants that you chose to eat at. I hope you find more enjoyable, issue free properties to rent in Portugal in the future.

Lamentablemente, no nos ha proporcionado ningún ejemplo de dónde consideró que la limpieza era deficiente. También busqué comentarios de los huéspedes que se quedaron inmediatamente después de usted y confirmaron que la casa estaba extremadamente limpia. Usted comentó sobre la falta de ropa de cama de invierno en las camas; sin embargo, cada dormitorio tiene una bolsa de almacenamiento con edredones y cubrecamas de invierno adicionales que todos los huéspedes están invitados a usar si los necesitan. También podría haberse comunicado con nuestros agentes para obtener más ropa de cama si la necesitara. Le agradecemos por seguir brindándonos 5*s a pesar de sus decepciones y estaremos encantados de darle la bienvenida nuevamente a Brisa del Mar.
