Lake House at West Tawakoni

Detta lilla rustika hus har massor av charm. En stor bakgård ger en rolig plats för barnen att leka och ha den speciella lägerelden med smores. Utomhus och inomhus spel tillhandahålls. Stora träd och en trädgårdsdamm fylld med guldfisk och en fontän gör att man går runt om i huset en behandling för alla. Njut av gungstolar eller bänkar inuti skärmade verandor. Alltid lagrad med kaffe, varm choklad, frukostmackor, popcorn, kalla drycker och generella kryddor för matlagning. Mycket väl uppvärmd och kyld för logi året runt. Det finns båt ramper vid ingången till samhället vid Duck Cove Rd. Av 751. Detta är närmaste tillträde till sjön. Stort fiske vid två nära parker, Tawakoni State Park och Red Park. Om du inte har en båt kan du hyra en på marinorna strax utanför Hwy 751 eller vid sjön Tawakani utanför Hwy 276. Vi kan erbjuda kajaker, kanot och fiske poler på begäran.

Scenic and Great Getaway

Weekend stay was perfect for breaking away from society with family and spend time grilling, games, and outdoors! Ben was great on recommending activites and making sure we had everything needed! Highly recommend!

Great Little Spot With FISHING!

We had a great time. Ben is a great host. Lots of games, indoor and outdoor available for all ages. TV and internet both work great. Will definitely book here again.

Comfy and Cozy

Stayed here with four teenage girls for a birthday slumber party. The house was cozy, comfortable and clean. The kids had a good time and there were a lot of games available for them to play. The neighhood was quiet and felt safe. The owner was very nice and very helpful. Would recommend. Thank You 😊

Relaxing getaway

We had a relaxing couple of days here - enjoyed the games, Frisbee by the lake, fire pit etc. The owner has definitely made updates in most of the rooms but not all. If it's chilly, be prepared that one restroom is off the front porch (but has a heater in it). The upper deck above the house was a treat for the kids.

Great little house

Had a great time, house was perfect! no its nothing fancy which was perfect as we spent most of our time on the lake or in the back yard. house had everything needed to make our stay e joyable without having to bring our whole kitchen of go to the store to buy stuff. to top it all off Ben was amazing! called the morning of with the instructions and a list of things to do on or near the lake! also had a great selection of DVDs to watch

My stay

Overall the property and my stay was fine. The WiFi was broken during our stay and didn’t get fixed, not too big of a deal for me but my mom was a bit irritated, and it made communicating with the owners more difficult due to bad cell service as well. Some reviews say it has water access across the street but the closest public water access was about a 5-10 minutes drive, everywhere has gated property and we couldn’t get to the water to fish or boat easily. The state park was a short drive so we went there for a day and had a great time. Great recommendations on the wall from the owner for food and night attractions.

Country Cabin near the Lake

HIGHLY RECOMMEND!! Perfect escape from the city with my sisters and within in walking distance Lake Tawakoni. Cozy & comfy interior with all the necessary items needed to make your stay simple. So pleasant to sit on the front screened patio with the breeze through the huge oak shade trees and listen to the frogs chatting in the pond, the birds singing, and none of the noise of the city to disturb you. Spent all our time outdoors either by the fire-pit in back, on the front porch, or down the street at the Private Community Park on the lake front. Short drive to Quinlan with all the conveniences of a small town; WalMart, Brookshire's, restaurants, gas stations, shopping, and Hunt County Trade Days(every Saturday and Sunday). Ben was very gracious and made sure our stay was hassle-free.

Enjoyable

We had a bad fishing weekend because of the wind,but the house is stocked with everything I was told. It's very quiet. Very clean. Fire pit, charcoal grill, gas grill. Plenty of indoor and outdoor furniture. We had six men take a shower all in a row and never ran out of hot water. Those are what I care about. Two thumbs up.

Nice trip

Definitely older and rustic but close to the lake and what we were looking for. Ben was a gracious and attentive host that made are stay that much more enjoyable.

I and my family love to fish, boat and swim. We consider this place our little hide away.

It was big enough for family and friends but small enough that it did not require to much maintenance. Has a great HOA that looks out for everyone's home. Nice neighbors I can contact at anytime. Private park for family & guests to use.

Large trees that cover house and screened in porches with rocking bench and chairs allow you to unwind in peace or go to sleep on the large hammock. A large fire pit with chairs around it in backyard for grilling hot dogs or smores makes for special moments.
