Feels like a new home

The house was very clean. It felt like a new home to us. It looked exactly like the listing. They were accommodating to my wife’s disabled. It was accessible for her mobility challenges. They provided additional towels to help make the showering process easier for us. We will definitely stay there again. All around great experience!

Thanksgiving week

House is set up very well. And nicely decorated for the holiday. No closets in master bedroom, as the owners have them locked off. Fireplace is not operating, which would be nice for the colder months. Overall a nice stay.

Great VRBO

I had a wonderful time staying here! It was a wonderful house and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Our son and his friends were able to join us a couple of times and it was perfect for a small gathering of family. I would highly recommend it to anyone needing to stay in the area!

A Great House In Forest

We were in the area to visit our daughter who attends Liberty for the Easter weekend. The house was spacious and well equipped to gather with family. We enjoyed the screened in porch as well. The house was exceptionally clean. We will be staying here again!!

Nice house in great neighborhood

Quiet neighborhood right in Forest~ not far from Liberty U. Great place for our family to spread out in the evenings when we got home. Didn't cook at all while there (just made cookies one night :) but the kitchen was spacious and had everything you need. Nice place.

Gorgeous Home

This property is immaculately cleaned, beautiful finishes, plenty of space. It is exactly as described. Easiest stay we’ve had with any rental. I can’t recommend it highly enough. They provide linens and basics for cooking and we even had a supply of coffee to get us started. Communication was excellent.

Wonderful oasis

Thank you for the use of your wonderful home. The property was exactly as described: beautifully appointed and spotlessly clean. We particularly enjoyed the screened-in porch since the late October temperatures were more like summer than fall. The location was perfect; a quiet neighborhood with easy access to so many attractions (Jefferson's Poplar Forest, National D-Day Memorial, Natural Bridge State Park, and Appomattox to name just a few). Should we find ourselves in the area again, we would gladly stay at this property. Thank you again!!

Great Space Quiet Neighborhood.

The housing development is new and very quiet. Very nice community. The location to all the areas interests is perfect. So much to do and see. The property is beautifully appointed, very clean and comfortable for our party of 4.

Labor weekend visit

The house was perfect It was very clean, very nicely decorated and the communication was very good It was relaxing and comfortable we came to visit our son at liberty university and it was a good distance to visit and attend a football game We also rented a boat at smith mountain lake which was just a quick 50 min trip

Fabulous home and location!

Extremely clean and well laid out. Nice furniture, decoration and very comfortable. Loved sitting outdoors and relaxing with friends. Hosts were wonderful and prompt in responding to questions. Highly recommend staying at this house over others and great hosts.

Perfect Getaway

The Orchid was the absolute best place to relax and unwind. The property is emaculate! The small touches to the property are inviting and beautiful. The pictures on the property were spot on, but the place is absolutely gorgeous (better than the photos). The place is spacious and enough room for our family of 5! Everyone had a place/space to relax. The covers patio provides quiet and relaxing setting. We would definitely revisit The Orchid for future travels! Great place to stay!

Pre-4th Weekend

This home is amazing and so tastefully decorated and inviting! It was great being close to some cool restaurants and the market. We loved the screened in porch! This was our spot for wine tasting and playing cards! We had an incredible time and the neighborhood was great for morning walks. We would definitely recommend you stay her and we would again!

Lynchburg Wedding

This place suited our needs beautifully. We had space to play games, sit and chat or even walk the neighborhood. It was extremely clean, Everything was in it's place and we had nothing we did not need. It was the best little get away for the wedding. If in the area we would stay again. It was a quiet neighborhood and we expected to hear fireworks as it was the 4th of July holiday weekend. Nothing but a beautiful place to relax and spend time with family.

Perfect for our family

Great little house for our family. We will rent again! Pros: location, close to grocery stores, food trucks, and other necessities Great kitchen, all the items we needed to cook all meals at the house. Loved the little screened in porch and seating outside. Very clean (space, linens, dishes, etc). Only “cons” but not a big deal: living room upstairs too small to use as a sleeping area for the kids, it was too open to the downstairs space as well but appreciated the extra space with a TV besides the living room dowstrairs. We didn’t use the formal dining room, but I could see how a larger family might use it.
