Discover TwinCreeks Farmhouse, one of the oldest homes in the United Statesâbuilt in 1768 and once inhabited by a Revolutionary War hero, a congressman, and a renowned photographer. This rare and romantic retreat offers an authentic taste of early American life with all the comforts of today.
Nestled on 10 peaceful acres in the scenic Hudson Valley, this spacious farmhouse is ideal for travelers looking to escape into nature, culture, and history. Wake up to birdsong and deer wandering past your window, and spend evenings on the covered porch watching fireflies dance across the fields. Shop for fresh farm eggs, meats, and local dairy at nearby farmstandsâtrue farm-to-table living.
With 4 cozy bedrooms (king, queen, and twin beds), TwinCreeks comfortably hosts families or friends traveling together. Two warm and inviting living rooms feature smart TVs and additional sleeping options (a queen sofa bed and twin air bed). One bathroom offers a traditional American bathtub with a handheld shower wand, while the second features a walk-in shower.
Cook group meals in the fully stocked country kitchen or grill outside as the sun sets over the trees. Gather around the farmhouse dining table or share a bottle of wine under the stars on the outdoor deck.

COMFORT
Walk carefully, our floors have all the warp and wear that comes with 250+ years. There are raised thresholds in doorways between rooms. Consider grippy slippers and please watch your step.
Tall people will need to duck their head under some doorways and ceiling beams.
Due to the nearby farm, streams, and fields bugs occasionally get in the house. We've provided bug eliminators for your use.
Heating / AC units are individually controlled in each bedroom via remote. Please see the printed manual for a diagram of the button controls.
The back porch is covered but may get wet in heavy rain.
For safe walkways, we do snow removal in the winter, but guests may occasionally need to sprinkle salt which we provide.
MOBILITY CHALLENGED PEOPLE
The bottom floor is not ideal for wheelchairs, but they can get around.
The smart lock to initially enter the house is on a different porch which requires someone to walk up the stairs.
Easiest access to the house is from the back porch which has a few very wide steps leading from the driveway. A wheelchair can rest easily on each step.
The bottom floor has a bedroom, bathroom, kitchen, dining room, living room, laundry, and back porch. The bathroom door is narrow and bottom bedroom is a tight fit.
Access to the second floor requires ascending a short flight of stairs.
