Beläget på byn gemensamma, komplett med damm och ankor, är Green Cottage en vacker, fristående flinta stuga, nyrenoverade. När du anger ytterdörren, leder den nyligen utrustat rymligt kök fram till öppen planlösning matsal. Gamla balkar, skarpa bomull sängkläder och färska blommor kommer att välkomna dig till detta charmiga traditionella fiskarstuga. Den stora loungen har bekväma soffor runt den öppna spisen och en solig fönsterplats, nås från matsalen. Utöver detta är det mysiga TV-rum. Loungen har också en dörr ut till den privata trädgården.
Av den stora hallen är det tredje sovrummet, ombonad, ljus och luftig, och även nere garderob. En trappa upp, den viktigaste (kingsize) sovrum, med sin gamla spis och synliga bjälkar, ser ut över trädgården. En stor garderob i takfoten ger gott om plats för förvaring, resväskor etc. Granne, tvåbäddsrum och rymligt badrum (med full storlek badkar och stor, separat duschkabin) ger gott om familjen utrymme och komfort

Lovely cosy cottage

The cottage was just as described, clean and with a well equipped kitchen. Comfortable beds, great shower. The garden is very private, great for a bbq with adequate seating. Would definitely recommend

More room than expected!

A delightful cottage, that has much more room than you imagine, it is in an excellent location to explore the North Norfolk coast, with a lovely garden that our Grandson and dog ran around all day! . There were 4 adults a toddler and a lively dog, but we never felt ‘ on top of each other’ and had a such a great week we have already booked to go back.

Country cottage near the beach

There’s no doubt about it. This is a lovely place to spend a week near the beach. The cottage is cosy but not cramped with a large enough garden for the kids to play in and enough room to sleep six comfortably. It’s close to beach but if you want something different walk the other way and there’s plenty of countryside walks to enjoy. There’s plenty of suggestions for things to do aside from the beach not to mention there’s a hot tub to relax in. All in all a great place to stay.

Beautiful house with cosy rooms

There was a short walk to the beach which was great for walking. We had a drive to Cley which is lovely and where we bought smoked fish. and had a long walk to the mashes. We had a walk on Holkham and had to take our shoes off to get back to our car as the water was coming in from the sea!

Amazing place for perfect holiday

Family break North Norfolk coast

Really nice short break with family in this comfortable and spacious cottage. Val was a great host and checked if we needed anything when we arrived. Val gave us lots of helpful information about the local area and there are lovely walks from the cottage. The beds are comfortable and the cottage well equipped with everything you may need for a self catering break. We would stay again.

Fantastic stay at Green Cottage

We had a fantastic bank holiday weekend stay at Green Cottage. The cottage is beautiful, peaceful with plenty of room and a lovely garden. The location is perfect a very short walk to East Runton beach which is ideal for the children. We are already planning our next visit!

Fabulous post lockdown stay

We had such a great time and got super lucky with the weather. The cottage is way bigger in real life and we had loads of space for 6 adults and 1 dog. The garden was particularly delightful, and had sun pretty much all day. Val was very lovely and sorted us out with everything we needed, as well as being really communicative throughout. 100% would recommend! Thanks Rosie

East Runton Green Cottage

This cottage was an excellent base for us and our dogs, the cottage was spacious, warm and really comfortable and made you feel so relaxed, it was beautiful.

Fab Cottage

What a fabulous place Green Cottage is, very deceiving from the outside but what a surprise when you walk in, lovely and comfortable with plenty of room to sit and relax, with a fully equipped kitchen and an impressive walk in shower. We loved the location too, very quiet but very easy to get around, with both Cromer and Sheringham only a few minutes drive away. East Runton beach is a great place to have lovely walks, our four legged friends thoroughly enjoyed themselves. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend and can't wait to return.

Green Cottage

This cottage is an absolute gem. Clean, fully equipped and comfortable. A great location for a quiet holiday, the garden is relaxing, yet there are many interesting places to visit nearby. The directions provided by the owner were inch perfect.

A lovely cottage. A fabulous base for visiting all the nearby resorts and attractions

We stayed at Green Cottage for 4 days with our 2 grandchildren. Much appreciated the flowers, wine and essentials that Val had provided. A lovely touch. Unfortunately the weather was terrible but a good supply of puzzles , books and games kept the little ones busy. Had a great day out at Roarr Dinosaur Adventure and visited Cromer and Sheringham.Had a great meal out at Sammy's diner lovely staff and food.Would love to stay again at Green Cottage in the future and hopefully have some sunshine this time 😎

Charming cottage full of character. Great location.

Lovely weekend break with Children, grandparents and dog. Great location in East Runton, walking distance to the beach. Easy to get to Cromer and Sherringham. Cottage is very cosy and welcoming and has a lovely cottage garden too. Would definitely recommend it for long weekend and more.

Beautiful property in an ideal location

Myself and a colleague supported a gentleman with Autism for his holiday. This property was ideal for him, as was the location. The Beach was beautiful and only a 5 min walk away. 10 mins away in West Runton was The Shire Horse Sanctuary which was amazing and worth a visit. We took him on a Seal Watching trip from Morton Quay to Blakeney Point which is only a 1/2hr journey from the property. A must for everyone. We enjoyed a lovely lunch at RockyBottom restaurant on the clifftop on the way to West Runton. Delicious crab and lobster. Cromer Zoo is about 9mins away, small but perfect for the gentleman we supported. Val and her colleague Sam made us feel very welcome, with milk and a bottle of wine. The property was very comfortable and well maintained. Would recommend to anyone. We all had an amazing holiday.

Perfect Cottage

We had a thoroughly enjoyable stay at Green Cottage over the bank holiday weekend. The cottage is perfectly positioned for a short walk to the quiet beach and all the village has to offer. East Runton is picturesque with two pubs and a fish and chip shop. All were tried and tested by us and got the thumbs up. The Dozy Doormouse was the favourite. The cottage itself is gorgeous, with all the mod cons. There is everything you need if you want to stay in and cook. Our party of 5 found it very spacious, with comfy beds and a great family sized bathroom. The enclosed back garden was great for a game of football and the large dining room table was perfect for family game night. Val was great to work with and made us all feel very welcome. We will definitely be back!

A most characterful beautifully renovated cottage

A surprise to find the front door facing the back garden but soon realised that this was just perfect providing us with a private patio to eat al fresco and a lovely lawn. The cosy, tasteful, contemporary and spacious open plan interior was superb for family life. The TV snug a special bonus. A lovely blend of modernity and character throughout. The village location was perfect with shops, pubs, beach and village pond all within minutes walking distance. We and our family enjoyed a wonderful week in this beautiful cottage. The owner was kind and helpful and we were welcomed with wine and flowers.

Idyllic, peaceful cottage

Visited Green Cottage with my daughter and her two little boys. Super layout of house for couples , families with young children with or without Granny! Snug/TV room for little ones to keep toys etc.and a lovely spacious feel to the rest of the house. Lovely size sitting room and dining area. Don't feel pictures and description did the house justice. Perfect enclosed garden, totally safe. 10 minutes wander to the beach, even at snail's pace! Well equipped with workable kitchen for those liking to cook. Beautifully appointed and spacious - only criticism would be that two of the three bedrooms need chests of drawers or usable wardrobes. Owners cheerfully replaced the travelling cot that refused to be erected. Lots to see and do within short distance and can't wait for an excuse to return - with or without little ones.

Winter escape

The house was very clean and very nicely decorated. It was nice to have a few days there as a winter break. We enjoyed walking along the beach at Holkham and East Runton. As a couple we had plenty of room to spread out but it would be lovely for a family. We would thoroughly recommend this property on the beautiful North Norfolk coast.

We had a fantastic time.

Absolutley loved the cottage. Comfortable clean and beds were great. Was very grateful for the biscuits wine and tea and coffee that was left for us.Hopefully go back soon
