A boater's dream home with a private dock UP THE CREEK from Hope Town Harbor.

Up The Creek is a family friendly 3 bedroom, 3 full bathroom home with a 100 foot dock located in the sheltered waters of Hope Town Harbor. The home is located on a peninsula of land in Hope Town Harbor which is only accessible by boat.

The yard is over an acre with tropical plants and plenty of room for fun in the sun. The main floor has 2 king bedrooms with ensuite baths. The 3rd bedroom and ensuite bath are located in the loft, accessed by a ship ladder. It is not recommended to be used by small children and/or those unable to climb a ladder. The loft looks down over the open floorplan kitchen, living room, and dining room. The well stocked kitchen has a large window that doubles as a bar, serving those guests on the screened in porch which overlooks the dock.

Most guests will arrive via their own boat or rental boat and use the boat to explore the beaches, bars, and towns scattered across the out islands. A small boat will be available for tenants to easily access the shops and restaurants in Hope Town, all within a 3 minute boat ride from the house. Note, this boat is not permitted to leave Hope Town Harbor.

Cute place and great management

Property was as described. You didn’t need a boat or to know how to operate a small tender to get around most of the time but the properties very cute with plenty of dock space. Karen/manager was awesome as were the owners.

Special property in Elbow Cay

We could not have had a better trip to Elbow Cay. After sailing around the Abacos, we landed at this beautiful property, complete with a dinghy for getting around the harbor. The house is located up the creek in a private area which is still very close to town. Being accessible primarily by boat was not a problem and added to the adventure of it all. The property manager, Karen, made us feel so welcome and was super helpful with everything, including finding what we needed for an injured toe! Highly recommend this house… I would definitely stay there again!!

Look No Farther For Your Elbow Cay House!

Our group of 6 stayed here for 5 nights. The only difference you will notice between the actual house and the listing is that get so much more! When you read "well equipped kitchen", it really means that there is everything you could possibly need/want. The house was super clean and literally left us wanting for nothing. It's much closer to "town" than I thought it would be but you still feel like you are on a secluded island. The house manager, Karen and her husband, live down a path next to the house and were the nicest, most helpful couple you could ask for! Lynsey answered all of my emails so quickly before the trip and was beyond helpful with a few of the travel issues that arose before we got there. It was truly a pleasure having her help, along with Karen's, for our trip.I can't recommend this house enough for your visit to Elbow Cay!

Awesome Home with Dock in Paradise

I wish I could give more than the top "5-star rating" for this property. Not only is the property represented to a T in the VRBO listing, the property manager was nothing less than "family" (she lives a few doors down), the way she catered to us during our stay. I loved the location being separated a bit from the daily noise and road/tourism traffic and makes you feel you are on your own island with immediate access to the Cay via your own small boat to cross the creek to get to town. We did have our own boat (26' center console with twin 150's) which was easily moored to the dock and accessible at low tide without a worry on the draft. We WILL return and will be sure to check the availability of this home during our next visit! Thank you Lynsey and Karen for the best trip we have had to the islands!
