We had a great stay at this condo/home. It was clean, the furniture was comfortable, the kitchen had everything we needed, great beds and showers and a nice layout. We loved the street level easy in/easy out parking and the view from the deck was amazing!! A few nice perks that we haven't seen in other units were (and they are small but very thoughtful and added to the stay) snacks on the kitchen counter when we arrived, a google speaker in the kitchen that we used for music when having dinner and playing games at night, a grill on the deck which we did use, spacious rooms for our family and honestly just a really modern and comfortable place to say. Also, we had great communication with our hosts who replied to all of my text/questions promptly and effeciently! Highly recommend this home when staying in the Banner Elk/Boon area!

We absolutely loved our stay here. Check in was a breeze. The home is beautiful and easy to live in. The kitchen was spotless, as was the rest of the house and the view of the mountain was amazing from both inside and on the deck. Already looking at dates to return here in the fall. Hilltop Haven was the perfect girls’ getaway!The home is well-appointed, beautifully decorated, and incredibly comfortable. We loved the mountain views and the convenient location—just a short drive to Boone, Blowing Rock, and Grandfather Mountain.Some highlights we’d definitely recommend:‱Linville Falls‱Boone Farmers Market‱Banner Elk for shopping and live music‱Grandfather Mountain for the iconic swinging bridge‱And of course, simply enjoying the stunning scenery and relaxing by the pool at Echota Resort.Dining was also a treat—Storie Street Grill in Blowing Rock was a standout for dinner, and Lost Province Brewing in Boone made for a great lunch spot.Our host was extremely helpful, friendly, and responsive. We highly recommend Hilltop Haven and can’t wait to come back!

Family Summer Getaway

My husband, our daughter and son, and my parents all stayed in this wonderful home for a few nights for a summer vacation. It was plenty of room for all of us to enjoy. The home was perfectly suited for my mother who has mobility limitations. The kitchen was fully stocked and we were able to cook all our meals there. The views from the deck and master bedroom are stunning. I enjoyed being able to use the gym so I could keep up with my workouts while away. We didn’t take the opportunity to use the pool this time but it looked beautiful and we hope to come back and use it next time. The home is conveniently located to Blowing Rock, Boone, Grandfather Mountain and Banner Elk (all places we visited during our stay). It was a lovely trip away with family.

Beautiful view from the of sunrise and sunset!

We had a marvelous time in a great condo high on a mountain ridge with a direct view of Grandfather Mountain. Our family enjoyed the pool, hiking and fishing the area offered. Definitely will want to visit again.

My family recently stayed at “Hilltop Haven” in the Echota Resort community through VRBO, and it was an incredible experience from start to finish. The booking process was smooth and straightforward, with clear communication from the host.Upon arrival, the property exceeded our expectations. It was very clean, well-maintained, and exactly as described in the listing. The location was perfect for our needs, offering easy access to Beech Mountain, Boone, Banner Elk and local restaurants. The neighborhood was quiet and the roads well maintained for winter weather. Our host, Janeen, was incredibly accommodating and responsive to any questions we had, providing helpful recommendations for things to do in the area.Overall, I highly recommend this property and would definitely return for another visit. Views out every window

This was everything wanted in a rental. We were able to relax and have all the comforts of home plus amazing views. The location is perfect, we went tubing , snowboarding and hiking while here and everything is within a 15 minute drive. I would definitely stay here again while visiting the Boone area. The owners were very quick to respond to any questions we had.

We love riding on the Blue Ridge Parkway, hiking the many trails in the area, and enjoying the cool, refreshing air of the lush mountains. We love sharing our second home with people — a place of respite and peace.

Varför vÀrden valde detta boende

Through the years we have always dreamed of owning a little slice of heaven in the mountains. When we discovered Echota we knew we had found the perfect location because it is right in the middle of all the places we love to visit in Boone, Blowing Rock, and Banner Elk. We were certain we found the perfect place when we walked inside and saw the magnificent view of Grandfather Mountain from the kitchen, family room, primary bedroom, and back porch. Watching the sun move across the rugged face of that mountain all day is like watching the Creator do a live painting -- it's a grand view without the hike!

Vad som gör detta boende unikt

The grand view of Grandfather Mountain is the hallmark of this property coupled with it being entry level and no stairs makes it ideal for any age. Since the condo is an end unit, there is a ton of natural light inside and the private corner back porch has a built-in gas grill.
