Our guests can make themselves completely at home in this spacious, private home with our private pool, carport and patio.

For the security of our home and community, we do not allow self-check-in at this time, so guests will be met by one of our concierge team.
Our consierge will give guests a quick tour of the home, show them how everything works, create a special passcode for the door and answer any questions they may have about the surrounding area as well as give them excellent recommendations for things to see and do around town.

Our guests will enjoy free concerge service during their stay and may contact their concierge or host any time should they have any questions, need reccomendations or if anything in the home should require attention.

INFO ON RULES/MIN AGE REQUIREMENT/GUEST EXPECTATIONS:

**Please note that we do require the names and verified ID's of each adult guest, and do not allow unauthorized visitors into our home.
Guests with less than 4-star reviews may be required to leave a damage deposit.

HOUSE RULES: Absolutely NO SMOKING, VAPING or DRUGS are allowed anywhere in our home or on our property.

We ask all our potential guests to read and agree to our house rules (located in 'House Manual' before we can approve them to stay.

PARENTS traveling with children: PLEASE NOTE that our home is not suitable for children under the age of 12.
(We recommend you filter your airbnb search settings to 'family-friendly homes' where you will find many wonderful homes that are suitable, comfortable and safe for young children.)

Because we believe in transparency when it comes to what we expect from our guests, we ask you to read our house rules before your stay.

You are welcomed guests in our home, and we want you to feel at home, but please treat our home with respect.

Please don't remove anything from our property - they belong here.
(Don't take our bath towels to the beach, borrow silverware or dishes to have a picnic, etc.)
We take full picture inventory before and after each reservation and we don't want to have to charge you for missing items!

Bath towels and bedding are expensive. Please don't use our bath towels to clean up spills, take off makeup, sunscreen or oils, wipe dirty feet, etc. (Face and wash cloths are provided.)

Please use the hose located in carport area to wash sand off feet and legs before entering the home, and please avoid getting sunscreen, oil or sand on furniture or bedding.
(Sunscreen and oils stain our bedding, towels and furniture, and sand gets everywhere and hurts our shower pipes and septic system.)

Costa Rican septic systems are fragile: please don't put paper products, wipes, tissues or hygiene products in the toilets (not even products that say "flushable"). Dispose of them in trash bin next to toilet.

We are proud to be part of an eco-friendly and energy-efficient country. Please help us do our part to conserve energy by keeping bedroom doors and windows closed if the AC is on so that the cool air doesn’t get wasted.
(There is no reason to leave A/C running when no one is home.
Be kind and help save us from a huge electric bill by turning off A/C, lights and coffee pot whenever you leave the house (but leave fans on to circulate air).

Please don’t let trash pile up within our home. Bag the trash, seal the bag, and and place it in the trash bin.
(Food waste, fish waste and leftovers can be bagged and put in the freezer for the housekeeper to collect when she comes to clean so that they don’t start to smell).

Dirty dishes, crumbs or any food left out and unprotected attract insects and other pests. Be sure to wash dishes, wipe down kitchen counters and sweep up crumbs after meals so as not to attract pests.
(Trust us when we say that you'll be glad you did.)

No smoking or vaping inside our home. You may smoke in the carport, but please pick up cigarette butts and dispose of them properly).

We want you to have a comfortable stay, so please let us know right away if you need anything or if something in the home needs attention so we can get it fixed or replaced at your convenience. (It's terribly frustrating to find out about an issue in a review).

We understand that accidents can happen, so we respectfully ask that you let us know if anything gets broken or damaged during your stay so that we can replace it / repair it before the next visitors arrive.
