Escape to this charming chalet in Shanty Creek. This cozy retreat features 3 bedrooms* and 2 full baths, sleeps 10. (*The 2 upstairs bedrooms are only separated by a retractable curtain divider) Family and pet friendly. Inviting living room with gas fireplace & tv. And the kitchen is fully stocked.
There is year round sports and adventures available at Shanty Creek. In the winter, explore the ski slops, snowmobile and cross country skiing trails. In the summer, swap out your skis for golf clubs and boating at Torch Lake. After a full day of exploring, you can unwind by the fire pit, soak in the hot tub, or relax in the barrel sauna under the twinkling string lights.
There is guest access to the outdoor & indoor schuss mountain pools and the Lake Bellaire Beach Club.

Great Girls Getaway!

What a perfect location for a low key, relaxing girls weekend! The Grumpy Bear was well stocked in every way! Super clean and comfortable. I could get used to a sauna every morning and a hot tub every evening!

Perfect cabin stay!

We loved the grumpy bear cabin, it was the perfect size for my friends and I! Perfect location, and the host was incredibly communicative and accommodating. Hopefully we can stay again another time!

The cottage was adorable and had everything we needed and more. The hot tub and shuffle board table were over the top and we thoroughly enjoyed them!

Winter Getaway

This property is ideal! Kristi and Ryan are great at communicating. This chalet is top notch! What I appreciated the most is the attention to detail that they have put into this property. They have quality products throughout, from sheets and towels to toilet paper and paper towel. I honestly can not say enough good about this place. I would give it a 10 if I could! We will for sure be back next year!

Winter wooded chalet and great skiing location

Kristi and Ryan were wonderful hosts that have either thought of everything or responded to dreamer feedback. I don’t think you could pack more into a property while still maintaining a quality experience with thoughtful communication and excellent instructions for the many amenities! Thank you for sharing your cottage with hot tub, sauna and fire pit.
