We had the most relaxing time here. The cabin was cozy but still spacious and wonderful outdoor spaces. Also grateful for a pet friendly cabin that was clean. The host was very responsive and so friendly. Cannot wait to plan another stay here.

The layout for this cabin was great for our family. We really appreciated some of the unexpected amenities like the coffee corner, Bluetooth speaker, and more. It was a very relaxing getaway at a quiet and comfortable property.

This property truly impresses. The cabin was impeccably clean, complemented by a variety of delightful amenities. It cultivates a warm, inviting atmosphere that makes you feel right at home. We wholeheartedly recommend staying here and are already looking forward to our return next summer.

We had a wonderful relaxing time! Good fishing, nice quiet area! Our host had a helpful book on local places to eat and nearby fun. The cabin was clean, comfortable and well kept. We had everything we needed!

This was the perfect getaway for two friends who have known each other for 45 years. The house was charming with up north decor. Actually, we were really impressed with how tastefully this was done. We played cards, cooked (a little), did a couple of easy crafts, and laughed a lot. The beds were comfortable and we slept well. We wanted for nothing!

We had a very enjoyable 4-night stay — wish we had more time! The cabin was perfect — clean and comfortable. The soaps & shampoo were exceptional and the bed comfy. We brought our own boat & having a lake map available was a huge plus when fishing (& that’s what we like to do best when on a lake!). Would definitely stay there again in the future. Nice get away

The place was well kept and cleaned. Very nice and cozy area to get away from the city. They were so nice to set out some s’mores treats for the family. A small gesture that was greatly appreciated. Love that you get a nice view of the lake out back. Love everything about the place.

Wonderful Oasis

We would need a novel to describe how amazing the experience was with this cabin. The hosts were wonderful to communicate with and thought about every detail needed for a lake stay from the scenic fire pit to the coffee/tea nook. The location was perfect on the lake with solid dock fishing and was serene and quiet. We had plenty of space and every kitchen utensil needed to have meals. The decor was well thought out and made the place feel like home and cozy. The screen porch was also a great atmosphere for games and meals.

Kyle and family were absolutely dream guests- thoughtful, kind, and great communicators. They stayed with us for 3 weeks and we had no concerns once we began communicating with them. A delightful family.

We had a wonderful three-night stay at this cozy cabin in Hillman. It was the perfect distance from the Cities—close enough for an easy drive, but far enough to feel like a true getaway. The cabin was well-appointed with everything we needed. We spent our time relaxing, grilling, and even caught a couple of fish right off the dock. One evening by the fire was a highlight.We also ventured into Brainerd one afternoon for a delicious lunch at Chick N Rice (highly recommend!) and had a great time playing mini golf. Overall, this was such a relaxing and fun trip, and we’d definitely stay here again!

Relaxing

We enjoyed 4 nights in this quaint little cabin. It was perfect for our family of 5. The cabin was well stocked with everything you would need, especially the kitchen. The beds were comfortable and the hosts were easy to contact if needed. We loved having the boat to use for a couple days. It fit our family of 5 just right. We enjoyed fishing, tubing and skiing. The screened in porch was used a lot for meals or playing games to protect us from the MN bugs. We would highly recommend this cabin and location and would definitely make a return trip in the future.

Nice clean property with items provided that you would need at a cabin. Even some things were available if you forgot something. AC works great! Nice big yard. Fish cleaning table provided. Caught lots of sunfish off the dock. Lake is very weedy in this area, this doesn't allow for a swimming beach. We weren't interested in that, so it was alright. There is a Keurig coffee maker provided, but if you're looking for certain kind I would recommend bringing it. Mostly hot chocolate and decaf were there. However, there's an excellent little store just down the road that has free coffee which is very good and also would have anything you would need for groceries, and fishing equipment, even hardware! This is a very quiet area, very little traffic noise or even boat noise. Nice and relaxing place, which is exactly what we wanted! We would definitely do this one again!
