Lovely mountain retreat

The suite was very clean, cozy and well cared for. The beds and linens were very comfortable and the suite is only a short walk to ski access.

2025 Ski break

Tucked away up a lane way , very secluded and quiet. The furnishings a decorations were very homey. It was more like home than a rental. First rental where the beds advertised were actual beds and very comfortable. The hot tub was easily accessed and welcoming

Wonderful Suite

We had a great time at Silver Star. The suite was clean and well stocked. We had everything we needed. It was spacious and perfect for a family of four. The owner was lovely and helpful and right upstairs when we needed her! I would definitely recommend this place!!!

We had a very relaxing and enjoyable stay at this Silver Star suite. On the evening we arrived the host Gabriele had put on the fireplace in anticipation of our arrival which took the chill out of the air and made it warm and inviting. The unit itself was very clean, the beds were super comfortable, and the living space was spacious and looked out onto the bright patio and trees. The doors and windows have screens so it was nice to let the fresh mountain air in during the days. We worked from the unit for a couple days and found the Wi-Fi was strong and reliable. The area around the unit was very quiet and peaceful and walking to the villiage was a nice short walk. The kitchen came with everything you'd need for standard cooking/eating, and the unit has a hot tub which was clean, maintained, and private. Gabriele was delightful, responsive, and easy to communicate with. I would recommend this unit and will be looking to stay here again the next time we're up at Silver Star.

Cozy stay in Silver Star

Our stay at Gabi's house emulated what staying at a VRBO should be - truly felt like we were welcomed into a home. The unit was stocked with cooking and other essentials that we needed. The place was in immaculate condition upon arrival.Gabi went above and beyond, provided great banter, and ensured we were all set for our stay. She was very responsive and more than willing to accommodate any of our needs.I would 10/10 recommend to friends or family and would definitely stay with her again.

Amazing stay at Silver Star

We loved every moment staying at Gabriele’s beautiful chalet unit. It was well decorated, spacious, clean and had everything we needed for the holiday weekend. The privacy and quiet of the house is spectacular. Our teens went to the bike park each day while we hiked the gorgeous trails around. Everyone enjoyed the hot tub after a full day of sports! We can’t wait to be back!

Nice cottage feel

Cozy place - greet location for mountain biking. Nice towels and bedding. Kitchen well stocked with everything you need. Enjoyed the hot tub.

Hidden Gem

We had a lovely stay in this quaint ski village. The environment in the summer is beautiful and peaceful. The suite itself is inviting, clean, cozy, and relaxing. We thoroughly enjoyed staying here. The host was very welcoming and check in was very easy and quick. The hot tub is such an amazing feature. It is 100% private and the cooler evening weather in the mountains makes it such an enjoyable amenity, even in the summer. The fire place was another beautiful addition to the suite. After a long day on the water with a little chill in the bones we relaxed, watched a movie on Netflix with the fire place going and it was so so relaxing. The king sized bed in the master bedroom was super comfortable. We had amazing sleeps as it was nice and quiet as well. Overall, we had a spectacular stay at this “Hidden Gem”. If you are thinking about going here you will not be disappointed :)

Family Day Weekend Stay.

Spent the Family Day weekend at this Silver Star suite. After arriving later on Friday night, we were warmly greeted at the door by our host, who showed us where we would find everything we needed. We had our own laundry room, a bonus, as the weekend was rainy and wet. The suite had lots of drying racks available to us as well. The ski locker was of ample size for our skis and snowboards. The kitchen was fully stocked with spices and the little things that you sometimes forget. The hot tub was very private. The location was a short walk over to the top of Alpine Meadows to head out onto the slopes for the day. The walk from the Silver Queen back home was fairly quick. The only thing lacking in our weekend was snow, as the weather was foggy and rainy. A great weekend to spend with family!

A Perfect Getaway!!

We stayed 3 nights in January, and found the suite to be perfect for our family of 4. Very clean, well equipped, lots of room, and the hot tub was perfect after a day on the hill. We used the shuttle bus to get us from the village back to the suite, as it's not that easy to ski to. We'll definitely be back!

Very nicely appointed Unit

Very clean, well appointed, bottom area of a home with 2 bedrooms. The owner was very very nice. The drawback is that it is not ski in and ski out and one must walk with ski boots and carrying downhill skis about 50 meters to get to ski down to the lift; and as to ski in, we needed to take the shuttle (free, every 30 min.) from the village back to the beginning of the street and then walk 50 meters to the home.

Comfy and Cosy!

Loved this little gem! I loved this place for its privacy and solitude. Very quiet, and beautiful looking out the windows each morning. Very clean, comfortable, and everything you need to make it an enjoyable get away. Little extras such as filtered water (in glass bottle), netflix and spotify, if you care to watch 'tv', and minutes away from some good downhill and cross-country skiing on the mountain and at Sovereign Lake! Highly recommend this place! Thanks Gabi!

Fabulous !

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It was the perfect size for my husband and I, and our two college age sons. The kitchen had all the essentials, plus some. The fireplace kept us toasty. The hot tub was a fabulous treat after skiing!

Just Perfect!

This suite was just perfect for our family of 4! It is beautifully situated at the end of a lane in a very tastefully appointed home. The suite is spacious, loads of natural light, beds very comfortable, kitchen fully stocked and everything in excellent working condition including the hot tub. The fireplace provided warmth and character to a charmingly decorated living room. We felt like we were coming "home" at the end of our ski days. Highly recommended!
