Treehouse in Ionia Michigan

Winding Springs comfortably accommodates up to 6 guests and is ADA accessible. Nestled 13-feet above ground, the Treehouse features a spiral staircase leading to the loft, stunning views of the stream and hills from the master bedroom, and a unique all-glass shower. The property offers a large outdoor space which includes a grassy yard & river frontage, a large balcony with panoramic views, and a four-season enclosed patio with a tree running through it, inviting the beauty of nature indoors.

Tree Vistas does not have on-site staff during your stay. You will receive detailed access instructions and a house manual, along with your personal guidebook, prior to check-in.

About the property: Tree Vistas occupies 6 acres nestled into the hills of Eastern Ionia Michigan. On the property, you will have access to Grand River frontage as well as the convenience of the Fred Meijer trail running straight through the property.

The Treehouse is equipped with a secure key code lock for easy, contactless entry. Simply use the provided code to access the property, ensuring both privacy and convenience during your stay.

Winding Springs Vista is a custom-built, 508-square-foot treehouse that comfortably accommodates up to 6 guests. It features a master bedroom with a queen bed, a pull-out sleeper sofa in the living area, and a loft with 2 single bunk beds. The bathroom includes a glass shower and a washer & dryer for added convenience. The kitchenette is equipped with a 2-burner countertop stove, air fryer, toaster, microwave, coffee maker, and a compact fridge. Relax and take in the scenic views from the four-season balcony or enjoy the large deck with a table and chairs overlooking the hills and stream below. The treehouse also offers outdoor grills and fire pits for a perfect evening in nature.

Tree Vistas does not provide a full kitchen, but it offers a variety of cooking appliances for your convenience, including a two-burner cooktop, air fryer, toaster, and microwave. In addition, outdoor charcoal grills are available for use.

Amazing Getaway!

My wife and I stayed for a long weekend, and the place was everything we expected and more! Amazing, secluded property and John and Emily were very responsive and wonderful to work with. Would love to stay again!

The cabin was beautiful and just as described and shown in pictures. We loved the scavenger hunt and walking down to the grand river. Beautiful location, just wish it had been a little warmer to enjoy it more.

The tree house and grounds were absolutely beautiful! We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The only things I would say to be helpful were, we wished it was a full kitchen (having an actual stove), and having an air freshener in the bathroom would be a good idea. Otherwise, everything was wonderful!

Great gem - perfect for mini vacation

Wonderful house in the woods. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. All the comforts of home. The shower facing out to the woods was incredible. The area by the river was peaceful. Appreciate being so close to the Meijer Trail. Outstanding experience. One improvement, have matches or a lighter to start a fire in the fire pit.

Great fall weekend getaway

Our tree house getaway was everything we hoped for. The home is gorgeous especially with the fall color and it's so peaceful and quiet. The bed was comfy and the view was relaxing. The shower was heavenly! We were able to make a nice meal with the utensils and equipment provided but a little air fryer or toaster oven would have been even better. We hope you add more tree houses that we could try out but would definitely come back to Winding Springs. Thank you for everything.

Awesome vacation!

Our family of 5 had the most relaxing time at the winding springs treehouse. We relaxed by the campfire, played ball in the open field, took our fishing poles down to the river, and watched raccoons and deer from our windows. It was truly restful and all we needed. Thank you so much!

Weekend getaway - relaxation

If you are looking for a place to relax and unwind, look no further. This treehouse provides all the comforts of home, in a very serene setting. Open the windows, sit on the deck, or around the campfire and simply relax to the sound of the creek and wildlife. If you have ever listened to nature sounds as a way of getting to sleep, this location is the real-life version. The treehouse itself is inspirational. It is open, spacious, inviting, clean, up to date, and comfortable. In summary, this trip was just what we wanted. Time away from the hustle and bustle of city life for some true peace and relaxation. Mission accomplished!!

What a fantastic and peaceful spot. The treehouse itself is cozy, unique and perfect. The property is just right with firepits, hammock, swing and the amazing little brook running through. The attention to detail with the little décor everywhere and the easy to follow signage along the nature walk to the river. The additional picnic spot as the river was so lovely. Not having hardly any reception/cell phone service was tricky but, nice for a full excuse to unplug. Maybe a future treehouse could include a hot tub!

A beautiful place and location! There were connectivity issues with internet but otherwise was a wonderful night. Tree Vistas response: we have improved the Wifi and connectivity to the Treehouse, but it's in the woods, so expect there may be interruptions or challenges with reception.

Turtle snoozing but who would want to....

Each step of the way was positive from booking to saying good bye. Greg was one of the gracious hosts I have ever met. Always aiming to please. I was so surprised of so much detail on the grounds. Solar lighting for safety and beautiful plantings along each step of the way. So glad we walked to the river where was another fire pit and grilling station for a fish fry. The tree house was so cool, especially at night. With two or more people it can get a bit tight but remember your in a TREE HOUSE!

Really loved the house and grounds. Painstaking detail in all the woodwork was lovely. Stairs going to the Creek were dangerous. A handrail would help a lot. We are older and noticeable to us. Wonderful idea, wish you continued success.

Awesome place!

This was our first time staying and we will absolutely do it again! So quiet and peaceful, a great way to get away and relax. The location is perfect as the creek flows just below the treehouse, so it’s great to just sit outside and listen to the water and nature. The only constructive feedback would be to provide one additional sign near the entrance and/or parking area to indicate where the Grand River is located as this was a bit confusing for us when we first arrived.
