Thank you for your feedback Lois. Yes we have on our ad that we are 3 1/2 miles south of town and the truck stop is 3 miles over the bridge north of the river. So yes there is a distance. Many of our guests rent a golf cart and drive to Secret Beach and the Truck Stop and have a nice day out. We do change the skillets on a regular basis because people use them and they get burnt and unusable. We recently replaced 2 of them. You are able to use the washer/dryer but we ask that you let the housekeeper do the laundry because too many people were breaking the controls and over loading the machines. Our housekeeper reported that the teenagers kept their rooms very messy and she had to do extra work picking up their stuff. They also were using a Nintendo switch on the tv that burnt out the electronic board on the tv and the box for the internet. We have to replace these items. On the sound issue there are 2 walls and a bathroom between the 2 bedrooms. 2 of the teenagers were in one of the bedrooms between the bathroom this is a possibility of the noise. Many of our guests give 5 stars for their holidays we are sorry you didnt feel the same.

Thank you for your input. we appreciate your comments. After visiting our property and talking to the caretaker we did see that he did not keep up with removing the seagrass along the shoreline. This is a job which he is suppose to do daily. The fact that he was not readily available for our guests caused us to make a decision and immediately terminated his employment. We did have a mamma and baby raccoon going on the roof, after consultation with the Wildlife Society on the island we found a natural & humane remedy to deter them from going on the roof to nest. And this has worked, they haven't been seen on the property since. We weren't aware of the dishwasher situation, but we just recently purchased a new dishwasher which was installed a few day's ago. Due to constant misuse of the washer and dryer especially overloading the machines which cause them to break down, we have a system where the guests will get one load done for free by our housekeeper and any additional loads the cost is $10 per load which the housekeeper will wash, dry & fold. We hope this answers any concerns.

I did receive a personal e mail from this client and I have answered her points: THE WASHER WORKS PERFECTLY FINE, IF THE COVER WAS NOT PUT SECURELY DOWN IT WILL NOT WASH THE CLOTHES.& SPIN. THE DRYER WAS WORKING BUT THE GUEST SAW THE FLAME AND THOUGHT IT WAS NOT SAFE. ALL GAS DRYERS HAVE FLAMES. WE DO NOT ADVERTISE HAVING A FOUNTAIN BY THE POOL, IT IS USED FOR DECORATION ONLY. MANY YEARS AGO WE FOUND THE THAT THE IGUANAS & RACCOONS WOULD USE IT AND ALL THE DIRT AND POOP WOULD GO INTO THE POOL. THE JACUZZI DOES GET VERY HOT BUT IT TAKES SOME TIME TO GET IT TO A HOT TEMPERATURE. ALEX SAID HE DID NOT NOTICE THE NAIL HEAD STICKING UP BUT WAS THANKFUL THAT HE WAS NOTIFIED AND THE GUEST SAID IT WAS A MINOR SCRAPE. WE HAVE A COFFEEMAKER ON EACH LEVEL. PRIOR GUESTS USED BOTH COFFEEMAKERS BUT WHEN THE GUESTS TRIED TO USE IT THERE WAS A RED LIGHT BUT IT WAS NOT DRIPPING. WE HAD A SPARE COFFEEMAKER SO IT WAS REPLACED IMMEDIATELY. THE REGULAR HOUSEKEEPER WAS IN THE HOSPITAL HAVING SURGERY AND WE DID HAVE SOMEONE WHO FILLED IN. I CAN UNDERSTAND THE GUESTS WANTED MORE TP AND TOWELS. ELENA HAS HER SYSTEM TO REPLACE THE ITEMS BUT THE TEMPORARY HOUSEKEEPER DIDN'T DO THIS PART OF THE JOB, I DO UNDERSTAND THE FRUSTRATION. ALEX'S WIFE ELENA WILL BE BACK TO WORK AT THE END OF THE MONTH. IN THE MEANTIME WE SPOKE TO CARMEN AND SHE UNDERSTANDS HER DUTIES. WE HOPE THE GUESTS ENJOYED BELIZE DESPITE THE FRUSTRATION ON HOUSEKEEPING ETC.
