Suite Escape Mountainside Retreat

Vi är mitt i allt som folk kommer till Maggie Valley för. Vår avsikt är att din vistelse ska bli en minnesvärd upplevelse!
Suite Escape ligger i fridfulla omgivningar omgiven av naturen. Det är en stilfullt dekorerad marknivå i vårt hem med egen ingång.
Köket är komplett med ett kylskåp i full storlek, konvektion / brödrost, mikrovågsugn, elektrisk kastrull, kokplatta med keramisk kastrull, vanligt dropp och Keurig kaffebryggare. Kabel-TV finns i både vardagsrummet med DVD-spelare och i sovrummet. Du har ditt eget privata däck som går längs husets längd. Du kan ta bordet och stolarna utanför på däck för utomhusbruk. Det finns en uppvärmd madrassdyna på king size-sängen för frostiga nätter! Vi använder alla ekologiska och giftfria rengöringsprodukter.
Gäståtkomst: Ingångsdörren har ett nyckellöst inträdessystem och gästerna får ett unikt lösenord före ankomst.
Gästerna kan använda uppfarten för att lossa. Parkering finns på övre plan för dina fordon. Vi är motorcykelvänliga. Vi kan dela vårt garage utrymme efter särskild överenskommelse.

Interaktion med gäster

Vi bor på den övre nivån i hemmet, så för det mesta kommer vi att vara tillgängliga för våra gäster. Vi är glada att låna hushållsartiklar efter behov och erbjuder rekommendationer. Tvättmaskin och torktumlare kan vara tillgängliga för användning efter specialavtal.

Grannskapet

Vårt grannskap är en fantastisk plats att promenera. Om du gillar att vandra kan du gå hela vägen till toppen av berget och Maggie Overlook!
Vi är nära några fantastiska restauranger och lokala butiker, och vi är på gångavstånd från Maggie Valley Festival Grounds. Det är en 10 minuters bilresa till Waynesville och livsmedelsbutiken, det är 20 minuter till Cherokee och Great Smoky Mountain Nat'l Park.

Att ta sig runt

Det rekommenderas att ha ditt eget fordon. Om du kommer på vintern är 4WD eller AWD till hjälp. Men om vi har kraftig snö kan du parkera längst ner på toppmötet. Låt oss veta så hjälper vi dig upp till 0. 4 mil till huset.

Andra saker att notera

Vi är cyklistvänliga. Vi är 4/10 mil från motorvägen, och det är lite av en stigning, men cyklar passerar vårt hus hela tiden!

Clean space that was easily accessible in Maggie Valley. Close to attractions on the Blue Ridge Parkway that we were planning to visit with still being close to Cherokee and Asheville.

Cool Escape from FL in the Summer Heat. Felt like living in a tree house. 30 foot Private deck and private entrance give you lots of privacy. Owners couldn't be nicer or more gracious.Pet friendly a big plus for me.

Wonderful Getaway

Mel was a great host who you can genuinely feel cares about his guests and their comfort and enjoyment. The suite under their home was perfect for my girlfriend, me, and our 2 dogs. It was a great location close to anything you want to visit in Maggie Valley or Waynesville. Would recommend to anybody wanting to visit the area.

Mr Mel was a great host. The suite was not cleaned, spider webs, dirty floors,stains on mattress cover. The first night my wife cleaned everything up and got it right. The rest of the trip was great. Mr. Mel was not aware of the cleanliness of the suite,he pays for a house keeper to clean it . Mr Mel was very thankful we brought it to his attention.

Perfect mountain getaway

We really enjoyed our stay at Suite Escape. We enjoyed the cozy space that provided exactly what we needed. The heated bed was divine and the view was spectacular. Mel was a great host and greeted us upon arrival. Location was good, close to grocery store, restaurants, etc. Overall, we loved our stay and hope to return soon!

Great getaway!

The property was in excellent condition. The hosts were very welcoming and accommodating. The property was very convenient to everything you need for a vacation, including restaurants in both Maggie Valley and Waynesville, hiking trails and overlooks on the Blue Ridge Parkway, the eastern entrance to Great Smoky Mountains National Park, Lake Junaluska and Cherokee.

Mel and Lynda were both great host. Mel even helped us unload the motorcycle when we got there after showing us around the beautiful property. Quiet and peaceful place to stay. Hoping to be back next year!

Fantastic and cizy

This one bedroom home was so very comfortable and cozy for my 3 night stay, so much so I stayed in one day Just to relax after 8 days of treking around the Smoky’s. I really loved the layout, deck, views with so many trees, lovely furnishing and all the big and little touches they do to may your stay so enjoyable. Do not hesitate to book this house.

Mel's place

Truly a home away from home. The house was stocked with everything we could have ever needed (and then some)! When we initially checked in we felt so comfortable we went & picked up a pizza from down the street (Bizarro's, highly recommended!!) and had an amazing "family night" at home with our toddler & senior dog. If given the opportunity we will 100% stay here again. Thank you so so much!

Pleasant Time

It was everything we needed. The Keurig coffeemaker was a pleasant surprise. There were two of us and our dog and the size of the space was fine. We were in a quiet neighborhood on the side of the mountain but not too high.

Rest Amongst the Beautiful Colors

Our stay was a delight. The communication with Mel from the beginning was great. No surprises. The unit was warm and inviting. We enjoyed our time on the deck relaxing. This was a nice getaway spot to relax and enjoy the fall foliage. Mel also suggested a few placed to eat which were great. I highly recommend Suite Escape.

Perfect!

Mel & Lynda are the best hosts! We had the best weekend at Suite Escape. We got snowed in and had a blast sledding down the driveway and in the neighborhood. The suite is cozy and had everything we needed for a weekend getaway. Maggie Valley is so dreamy. We will definitely be back! Thank you guys so much for your kindness and generosity. We made memories that will last a lifetime!

Like Goldilocks

If there was an option for more than 5 stars I would have selected it. My wife and I travel quite a bit and enjoy using VRBO as often as possible. This was our best experience ever. From communication with the owner (Mel), to the rental itself, the whole experience was OUTSTANDING. Like Goldilocks, we find some VRBOs to be too expensive or too cheap, too remote or too cramped, overrated or underrated.....this one was JUST RIGHT. Anytime we have the opportunity to be back in Maggie Valley, we will return to Suite Escape. Thanks Mel for the hospitality.

Great little place for our hiking weekend!

This property was in a great spot for us going out on day hikes! There wasn’t a washer/dryer in the unit (which we knew ahead of time) but would have made it even better with our dirty hiking clothes and dog items. The kitchen was super small but it was sufficient since we decided to just eat dinners out on this trip. You can hear noise from the upstairs unit where the hosts live but it wasn’t too bad. My husband woke up early one morning to footsteps above so if you’re a light sleeper maybe not the best. Mel was such a gem though and makes the experience great!

Great home away from home

Mel was a great host and super accommodating! There was gift basket of snacks and water bottles in fridge awaiting us. They came in handy as we stayed there for a truck show at the fair grounds. Bedroom had beautiful view with the double glass doors and a covered porch the length of house. Maggie Valley is super walkable town but definitely need to drive to main road from house unless you have Olympic trained legs! You are staying in a house truly on a mountain side after all. I would love to stay again in the fall as the view is breathtaking as if you’re in a tree house. Parking is tight-glad we didn’t tow a show truck. Again-you’re staying on a legit mountain so there’s only so much room:). Overall very welcoming, calming beautiful space to stay in while you’re away from home.

We enjoyed our stay, bed was quite comfortable & this location is very pet friendly! These were most important to us. The hosts are very friendly & the location is close to activities, giving you plenty to see/do.

Mel and Lynda moved from the Tampa Bay area in 2009 because we love the mountains and four beautiful seasons! We love meeting new people, and sharing our experience of the area with them. We own Mountain Spirit Wellness in Maggie Valley, so you have massage and yoga classes at your fingertips.
With 5 children between us, we enjoy traveling to visit family, and also parts of the world we've never seen.

Varför värden valde detta boende

The neighborhood is a forest and so peaceful. We loved the cathedral ceiling and windows on the main floor, and while inside the house, you don't see other houses - just wonderful nature!
It's also within 15 minutes of grocery shopping and other necessities, and only 30 minute drive to Asheville.

The deck is a special place to enjoy your morning coffee or an evening glass of wine - a great place to relax and hang out!
Suite Escape is off of the main road in Maggie Valley, so you are away from the traffic noise.
We supply water in the fridge, a variety of coffees and teas, creamers.
