**On VRBO, we offer a full cancelation 48 hours after booking. We require a 30% deposit to book and the balance is due 60 days prior. Any cancelations made prior to 60 days before arrival are given a 50% refund of the deposit. Within 60 days, the reservation is non refundable.

Amazing place for a tropical getaway

First time visitors to Coast Rica and beyond happy we found this place to stay! The layout felt so comfortable and the view was mind blowing!!!! I highly recommend this place for a group of friends or a nice family vacation. Looking forward to booking here again!!!

Compass House - Amazing Stay

Absolutely gorgeous, large, well finished house. Great floor plan for entertaining and hosting the wedding we were at. The pool is perfect and has amazing views of the coast. The outdoor kitchen was great as we didn’t ever want to leave the view and the pizza oven is just a huge bonus. Will be back for sure. The hosts were incredibly willing to make sure our stay was as good as it can get as well

Great House

The property was fabulous, super clean, great outdoor space, fantastic views. Natalia and Maria were a pleasure to deal with. We fit 13 people very comfortably in the house. Going up and down the hill into town can be a bit of a challenge however.

A perfect multigenerational family vacation

We had 15 people, ranging in ages from 5 to 76, and everyone said it was the best vacation ever. From daily breakfast, spectacular views, nearby beaches and restaurants, we could not ask for more. And the staff did a great job every day.

Amazing views and stunning home!

We were a party of 9 and had an amazing time at this home. Close driving distance to beach from house but does require an ATV or AWD vehicle to navigate down to the beach or town. Parking was not an issue. Security guard on premise during the evenings. Housekeepers were fantastic and available . Gorgeous infinity pool with hot tub and amazing sunset views each night.

Brand New House - Epic Views!

What an amazing place. Modern, new house carved into the hill-side with a huge infinity pool with swim-up bar, large outdoor eating area, and about a 5 minute walk down the hill to the beach and shops of Tamarindo. We attended a private wedding at the house and the deck area worked very well for a ceremony and reception. The house is spectacular and the helpful and courteous staff were there every morning to cook an amazing breakfast for us. Howler monkeys swung by on nearby trees one day and the sunsets were spectacular each night. I can't wait to go back here.

The pool is insanely awesome and accessible from so many rooms! It was a dream come true! The outdoor kitchen made cooking so simple as it allowed more action outdoors while the kids rummaged through the inside! We loved it and felt very safe.

Spectacular Modern Property!

We stayed here with a group for friends wedding. The home is absolutely beautiful and the sunset and ocean views were probably the best you can get in Tamarindo, and it's looking out over the infinity pool. Each couple had there own room with a private bathroom – the perfect place to have an event like a wedding and keep everyone in one place. Having cleaners there every day and breakfast made for us every morning was a treat too! We had more friends in the neighbouring house (also amazing) which is owned by the same couple. Dal and Darren were great hosts and made sure our friends had the wedding of their dreams. Highly recommend!

A private resort in the hills

You know you've found an oasis when you spend 7 days in a new town and only leave the house once. This palace in the hills of Tamarindo is full private luxury and you'll understand what I mean when you open the giant front door and stare stare through the living room, over the infinity pool and look out across the entire town deep into the ocean. Tamarindo in May is insanely hot and that pool quickly became the heart of the entire wedding adventure. The cooks/cleaners and maintenance team took great care of us, if you've got a big party and Tamarindo is your destination it's definitely worth considering.

An absolute dream. Everything we wanted and more!

This magnificent, beautiful, spectacular house needs to be in a magazine! An absolute wonderful time and amazing experience was had by 30+ of us not only at this house but the house above as well. We came down for a destination wedding and all had the time of our lives. From the moment you pulled up to the drive way you knew that the experience was going to be memorable. Then you open the front door and your breath was taken away by the gorgeous house lay out, views, and pool. Everything was top of the line, all expectations were exceeded. We would recommended to anyone and will definitely be back.

The swimming pool and jacuzzi are exceptional. We had 5 of our grandchildren ranging in age from 6-9 and it was a perfect setup for all of us; the kids were always visible but not necessarily in the same living space which gave their parents a vacation as well.Our 9 days went much too fast. We loved zip lining, surfing and fishing.

Magical week in Tamarindo

Property was as advertised, you tube videos were spot on. Great views of Tamarindo beach from the pool area, the pool was awesome. Loved the outside area, we had breakfast there every morning. There was a guard at the property in the evenings. The Sonos sound system was nice, the outside grill area was great we used it a few times. Stay Tamarindo concierge service was great, we used them all the time to book excursions, airports pickups, restaurant reservations and also a good source of information about the area. Our House Mom was awesome, she made us breakfast ever morning, cleaned the rooms as needed, provide pool towels, etc. She was great to have around the house and made our stay very welcoming and fun. Compass house was awesome, can't say enough good things, we had 10 folks stay there over the week and they all loved the house and the town of Tamarindo.
