Host is excellent. Home is very clean and has all the amenities you need to have an enjoyable week scalloping and fishing. Home has access to a private neighborhood ramp in close proximity. Parking downstairs is covered with access to water and electric outlets. We had a great time.

Family Fishing Trip

We arrived from Charleston SC at check in, enjoyed the beautiful view until two more family came. Lovely house, lots of room and the porch view was incredible. Easy to put the boat in, the ramp was across the street! We caught enough fish to feed our crew each day at the only restaurant and they include cook your catch on the menu. We caught Red Fish and Speckled Trout

It is an absolute gem!

The location is perfect. Convenient to the beaches and landing. The community landing was a plus. The home is beautiful. I love the set up and it is so cozy. The evening sunset views are amazing. Fishing and scalloping in this area was great. I will definitely save this home for future trips.

The Dekle Beach Darling House is wonderful . We loved everything about it . Dekle Beach is our kind of vacation spot , very peaceful . We like to scallop and fish and the kids love playing in Crab Creek .

Peaceful getaway

We had a great weekend getaway here. Lisa was wonderful to communicate with. The house was clean. The views were amazing and the night star lit skies were our favorite. Would love to visit again!

Spectacular location

We absolutely loved the location! Quiet, peaceful, serene and the most beautiful views. The house was well layed out and fully equipped to satisfy our needs. We felt it was in need of a good spring cleaning, but otherwise we would definitely come back!

Perfect place for scalloping and hideaway.

This is our 2nd year staying at Dekle Beach Darling and we will be back again and again. The house is always clean, spacious for our family and Lisa responds to our questions promptly. We love this location in part due to the private boat ramp which is perfect for scalloping season. The nearby neighbors are friendly too.

Dekle Beach Darling, is such a great place. The house is clean and well equipped with everything you need to enjoy a relaxing getaway. The boat ramp is perfect and such a short ride to the Gulf.

Beautiful water views

This property was everything we hoped for. My granddaughter said it was beautiful. The screen porch was nice to enjoy the breeze and the evening sunsets. We would definitely recommend this property and when back in the area, will rent again.

Fishing with friends.

Spent a long weekend fishing with friends and family. Really enjoyed making new friends with people in the community. I will definitely book another trip here soon. The house was great and having a private boat ramp is very convenient.

My husband and I live in Crawfordville. I grew up in Taylor County and have a fond memories of summers at Dekle Beach. We both love fishing and spending time with friends and family. My husband loves to cook so we enjoy fishing and cooking our catch.

Varför värden valde detta boende

I grew up in Taylor County so I had many fond childhood memories spending summers and special occasions at Dekle Beach. Many of my childhood friends owned property at Dekle Beach so when I had the chance to purchase property and build a house, I jumped on it!

Vad som gör detta boende unikt

Excellent fishing, scalloping, bird watching and beautiful sunsets and small friendly community. So very Thankful the house survived Hurricane Helene with mostly damage to the mezzanine.
