En designer möblerat hus med utsikt över Medelhavet, med gemensam pool för 7 hus, tio minuters promenad frĂ„n en 10 km sandstrand och den gamla fiskebyn Peñíscola. Ägaren (inredningsarkitekt) har inrett huset för eget bruk och dĂ€rmed utrustat den till en mycket hög standard. Det finns 3 sovrum och 3 bad / dusch rum. PĂ„ tre nivĂ„er vardera med en stor terrass alla sovrum och terrasser har utsikt över 12-talet slott (PĂ„ El Cid). Det finns en privat uppfart (1 bil). Inom en 10 minuters bilresa frĂ„n Sierra de Irta nationalpark, kusten, en av de minst befolkade i Spanien, har mĂ„nga gömda vikar. Valencia 70 minuter, Barcelona 2 timmar med bil eller tĂ„g. TĂ€vlingen Panoramica golfbana Ă€r en 35 minuters bilresa genom spektakulĂ€ra landskap. Denna mycket spanska resort Ă€r fortfarande relativt oupptĂ€ckta.

Papa Luna, tempelriddarna och filmen El Cid, (filmat i staden 1962) Det finns ocksÄ synpunkter frÄn fiskehamnen och i Medelhavet, rakt upp till Delta del Ebre (syns pÄ klara dagar) Denna mycket traditionella spanska semesterstad har varit mycket spanska och Àr en populÀr semesterort med invÄnarna i Zaragoza, Barcelona och Valencia, allt inom bekvÀmt drving avstÄnd. Det finns mycket fÄ fastigheter med den hÀr vyn för uthyrning.

We love our time at this beautiful apartment in Peñíscola. Everything was just as we’d hoped, with everything our family needed for some much needed rest and relaxation.

The best view in town

This was our first trip to Peñiscola and we couldn’t wish for better location. The condo is situated in close proximity to restaurants and shops and only 10 min walk from the beach. It is fully staffed with all sorts of dishes and cooking equipment. The beautiful interior decor made us feel like home. Linda, the house owner, was fast to get in touch with and gave us many good tips for local restaurants and grocery shops. It was one of the memorable vacations .

Nous avons passé un agréable séjour, dans un maison à flanc de colline, sans vis-à-vis et avec un voisinage discret et sympathique. La maison est meublée avec goût et trÚs bien agencée; toutes les chambres ont leur personnalité et leur charme et la terrasse est une véritable piÚce à vivre avec une vue imprenable sur le chùteau de Papa Luna. un beau lieu de villégiature.

Lovely home to stay in, relaxing, fantastic views.

We stayed during the October School holidays with our three boys (3,6,14), it was a great place to stay, plenty of room with amazing views, (no need for an expensive Restaurant Ard Na Mar has the best table in town!). The location was perfect for us as we could walk down the hill into Peniscola each evening, the children could play in the play parks and on the beach and we enjoyed walking along the promenade. The house is everything you would expect from the photos, very well equipped and a home from home. Linda was very helpful from start to finish and we would thoroughly recommend staying here. The locals were very friendly and helpful, we enjoyed chatting with them and they didn't seem to mind our poor Spanish! The Tourist Information Office on the beach front is definitely worth a visit, very informative. Sierra d'Irta is worth a visit and a great drive if you don't mind the bumps, beaches are unspoilt and empty, would also recommend walking up into the hills great views. Go inland if you get chance Morella and Vilafames worth a trip. Overall great holiday, thank you Linda.

Lovely well stocked home with a terrific view

The house itself is in a lovely quiet residential area, still within walking distance to the beach and restaurants, if you don't mind abit of a hill climb. There is a great view of the castle and 3 lovely terraces to enjoy a drink on. It is nicely decorated throughout and has definately has some 'pizazz' (Linda's artistic touch?)The kitchen was very well stocked and we had everything we needed. It was clean and well presented, there was plenty of room for the 5 of us and easily enough showers and toilets. Whilst the pool is shared between 6 houses, we often had it to ourselves, even though it was high season. We were in Peniscola during August which was hot, the ceiling fans in all the rooms helped but sometimes my husband prefered the 2 bedrooms downstairs which were cooler than the main one at the top of the house. We've stayed in many self catered homes and we all agreed that this is the best one we have stayed in. Peniscola itself and the main beach were perhaps a bit too busy for our liking, (best outside school hols?) but we loved being able to escape to the wild beaches in the Sierra d'Irta. Also, because the house was up the hill away from the hustle and bustle, we felt that we could easily leave the resort when we had had enough and have some quiet time chilling at 'home'. All in all a great hol.

C'est une agréable villa avec beaucoup de charmes avec une superbe vue sur le chateau .. C'est tres confortable et chaleureux .. Il fait tres calme il y'a une piscine superbe pour les enfants et pour se reposé un peux . Tres chouette car la mer n'est pas loin .. Il y a beaucoup d'animations sur les bords de plages tres chouette a allé en famille .. C'est pres des transport (bus) et des magasins et des restaurants . C'est trÚs agréable et relaxant a allé surtout en famille :D

Holiday house in Peniscola

We stayed 15 nights in this holiday house. All was as good as described in the internet pages. View from house to Peniscola old town and to the sea was great. Beaches and restaurants were in walking distance. Both cities, Barcelona and Valencia are with easy access by car, it is only 2 hours to drive from Barcelona airport. Rooms and bathrooms were clean, kitchen was very well equiped for cooking. Washing machine worked perfectly. This house is good for holiday for family up to 6 members, I can highly recommend. Owner was also very helpful and flexible.

Excellent property. Great holiday.

We have spent a number of memorable breaks in Peniscola, the most notable being last September during the local fiesta. On each occasion we have rented the Ard Na Mar property which has arguably the best outlook on the Costa Del Azahar. The property is very spacious, and is on three levels, each with its own balcony overlooking the garden and pool. The house is in a quiet area overlooking Peniscola, with wonderful views of the Castel de Papa Luna. Surrounded by quaint old towns, superb beaches and an abundance of excellent restaurants, we would think that for a carefree relaxing holiday you would struggle to find better accomodation. Relaxing luxury!

I reside in Florida, USA. My husband and I have enjoyed other major cities in Europe but we wanted to find a nice vacation town to relax in without all the city stresses and expenses. After extensive searching on the internet we found this wonderful place which suited our needs. Beautiful house with very nice amenties, kitchen with everything you might need and a view that is out of this world. The house itself is beatuifully decorated and furnished. Families and couples looking for a relaxing vacation would have a wonderful time here and it is very affordable. Peniscola is such a charming place. Great places to eat, wonderful retail fish establishments and a few cocktails to enjoy the real Spanish culture. The beach is right there and so accessable.....wonderful!

Wonderful home and location

We are a party of 6 having just returned from a stay at this lovely home in Peniscola. The owner, Linda has been amazing since our first enquiry. Fast in responding and giving us lots of information prior to our stay. The house and facilities are as described - we were not dissapointed. The location is, we think, the best in Peniscola. Very typical Spain. Eating out was an experience, fantastic choice, good quality and not too expensive. The atmosphere in Peniscola (fiesta week), was unimaginable - really old spain - bull running, processions and fireworks - so enjoyable. We booked a car from the airport and the journey was easy - we were met by the Agent and shown to the house. We will be returning.

Bought from new due to a very nice design and the most spectacular views. It has been equipped to a very high standard for the owners own use and caters well for those who love to cook, a pleasure given the wealth of cheap locally grown produce.

Vad som gör detta boende unikt

The view is one of the best in Peniscola and three very large terraces face the old town and the castle surrounded by the mediterranean so a mixture life and calm. All bedrooms face the castle. This is a very rare rental property with a never tire of ever hanging view and so close to the town and beaches.
