Welcome to this charming vacation home in the beautiful Gers region, known for its picturesque landscapes, quaint rural villages, rolling green hills, and the majestic Pyrenees to the south. This lovely stone house has been beautifully restored to offer warmth and comfort, featuring a cozy interior and a covered terrace perfect for shaded outdoor dining. You'll also have exclusive access to a private swimming pool, ensuring a peaceful and relaxing stay.
The house is divided into two parts, but the other side remains unoccupied during your visit. Youâll enjoy full privacy with a separate entrance and gated access to the pool, which is entirely out of view from others. Inside, the home is well-equipped for a comfortable stay. The spacious upstairs bedroom features a double bed and a sofa, accessible via a slightly steep staircase. On the ground floor, a comfortable sofa bed provides additional sleeping space for two more guests.
This location is perfect for exploring the region, whether by horseback at one of the many equestrian centers or by car to discover the local villages and delicious cuisine, including foie gras and mushrooms at nearby restaurants. Just 6 km away, Lac de Plaisance du Gers offers plenty of family-friendly activities, including picnic spots, a refreshment bar, childrenâs playgrounds, and various summer events. The lake area also features an 18-hole mini-golf course, a 9-lane swing golf course, tennis courts, and sports fields. While swimming is not allowed, fishing is permitted for those who enjoy a peaceful day by the water.
The region comes alive in the summer with a variety of festivals, including Tempo Latino in Vic-Fezensac, Jazz in Marciac, and the Country Festival in Mirande. You'll be just 20 km from Marciac, and within an hour's drive to the historic cities of Pau and Lourdes.
