Fabulous villa in a great location!

Just returned from a wonderful week in Athena Villa. The villa was ideal for us 5 friends. The pool area is great, private, and the addition of beach towels was a welcome surprise. A short path from the pool area takes you to the beach in a couple of minutes, a beautiful coastline with gorgeous bays. Within walking distance of numerous restaurants, bars and shops. A bit early in the season so a lot were not yet open, but that suited us as it was quieter. The villa itself was lovely, clean, a couple of us found the beds too firm but personally love a firm mattress so just personal preference.Paul was so helpful arranging taxis to and from the airport and was really responsive to any queries..We all felt lucky to have got such a great villa in such a great location.

Best and cleanest rental we have ever stayed at

Wow what a property, everything's perfect. We travelled with my elderly mother and everything was on our doorstep so she didnt need to walk far. The pool is a fantastic size, we will definitely be back.

Excellent Villa

We stayed for a week in October 2024 at this property and cannot speak too highly of it! We arrived late at night and were welcomed with a stocked fridge including beer and wine! The kitchen was excellently equipped for cooking if needed and the whole villa was immaculate. The outside space and pool were perfect with plenty of shade, seating areas and comfortable sunbeds. Being close to the beach, bars/restaurants, and local supermarket this really is an excellent choice for a relaxing holiday. Would highly recommend and will definitely return.

Brilliant place to stay

Fantastic location- literally 2 mins from the beach- with a lovely pool. Spotlessly clean and nice to have a welcome pack on arrival. Great information provided beforehand and nice to be met at the property by Paul who showed us around. Would definitely recommend.

Excellent villa

Villa was well equipped with everything we needed. I thought the beach towels were an excellent addition. The pool area was spacious, clean and had enough sun beds and seating for the 5 of us. Location was excellent. Beach was literally 2 mins walk. Restaurants were 5 mins walk and lots of choice. Paul was waiting for us to arrive and responded immediately when we had a query. I would definitely stay here again.

Excellent holiday

We have had the best stay at this villa in Pernera. The villa was spotless on arrival and has absolutely everything needed for a family stay. There was 5 of us. Myself, husband, and kids aged 13, 11 and 10. We all really enjoyed the pool, and spent hours on it. The beach is a 2 minute walk away and the kids spent most of their money on the watersports there. All the staff at the beach were so friendly. We ate out every night, visiting different restaurants in the resort and going to Protaros on one night . Our favourite restaurant was Doma, and our favourite bar was Knights. The only criticism we had were the hard mattresses, but that's just a personal preference. We are going home refreshed and relaxed after a brilliant holiday. We

Great villa highly recommend

We have stayed in this area many times but first time in this villa. Really lovely property and helpful staff. Great pool, great location, comfy beds etc. Cant fault it. My husband and I just returned from a week (april 2017) and I am 7months pregnant, the villa suited all our needs. The hotel behind is close but didnt cause us any issues - infact we wandered over there for lunch a few times, less than a 1 min walk! Ideal. Resturants and shops within under 5 min walk, beach sooo close. Perfect base for a relaxing holiday. No car needed. Airport transfer less than 45 mins by taxi.

Perfect...

I really cant express how good this villa was. Its definitely lived up to the photos and more.. Its in the perfect location. The house is clean tidy and well equiped and a welcome pack on arrival was very nice.. as we arrived late we had everything we needed to chill that night and breakfast in the morning. Paul came to meet us the next day to make sure we had everything we needed and was on hand via whatsapp if we had any questions or issues.. one small thing the pool lights didnt work one text and it was resolved that morning.. Couldnt ask for better. We all loved this holiday and didnt want to come home. It's just the perfect location. A gate and passway to the beach from the pool area. And a stones throw from lovely bars restaurants and shops.. a gated community so felt safe and secure and a quiet residence too. We will be back! Thats a definite..

Athena Villa in Pernera

We had a fantastic time at Athena Villa in Pernera. The location is amazing, with a private path from the back of the property going down to the beach - less than 100metres! The pool was very refreshing and there are plenty of sun beds for everyone to have one. Beach towels were a pleasant surprise although a couple of them did have some stains on that didn’t look very pleasant, but all in all they were a welcome addition. The area itself was perfect for us with lots of bars and restaurants in Pernera itself or a 2.5km walk along the scenic promenade to the livelier Protaras resort. The bedrooms were comfortable, although the air conditioning unit in one of the double rooms could probably do with fixing or replacing as it is not very efficient. All communication with the owner and property manager was excellent and when we noticed that the oven had been broken before we got there, Paul and Celia sorted out a brand new one to replace it! The welcome pack was also most appreciated after travelling all day on the day of arrival. We had a hire car but didn’t really use it apart from popping to the shops or the odd excursion. Can highly recommend WaterWorld in Ayia Napa and Mr John’s Tours who take you on a day trip to the Northern side of the island and visit the “ghost town” of Varosha and Famagusta. I would highly recommend this villa for families and groups who want the sun and plenty of activities but not necessarily the hustle and bustle of the main resorts.

Perfektes Ferienhaus für unseren Familienurlaub

Wir hatten einen wundervollen Aufenthalt in der Athena Beach Villa. Die Buchung und Einchecken waren unkompliziert, das Haus und der Außenbereich genau wie auf den Bilder, sehr gut ausgestattet, alles war sehr sauber und hat funktioniert. Die Lage in nächster Nähe an der unserer Meinung nach schönsten Bucht in Pernera mit Sandstrand und der liebevoll angelegten Promenade war insbesondere mit kleinem Kind perfekt für uns. Daher uneingeschränkte Mietempfehlung von unserer Seite aus!

Impressive Villa

The local manager was there to meet us and the went quickly through the details. The Villa itself surpassed expectation and was a wonderful base for our holiday. The pool was superb and provided many hours of enjoyment as did the beach and the villas closeness to it. My wife and I are looking at booking up for next year, however it would only be us two and we feel the cost of this villa would be too much for just us two. Therefore, we are looking for a 2-bed villa, with pool, in the same location and hopefully we can arrange this via yourselves. Superb Villa = Superb Holiday Thankyou very much !

Excellent villa in a brilliant location.

Lovely villa within a minutes walk of the beach which was great for snorkelling, and had a wide variety of water sports available. Participated in Parasailing, giant sofa, stealth, and stingray. Loads of great restaurants within 5 mins walk. Bus route into Protaras only a 3 minute walk away. Had one issue following a power cut, but Paul the property manager sorted within 24hrs of being notified. Highly recommend. Travelled with two 14 year olds, and a 17 year old.

Beautiful property

The villa is amazing, well equipped and in a quiet and peaceful area of Cyprus. Some days, my friends and I didn’t bother to leave the villa as it was so lovely. Paul, the owner, was very helpful with queries and even helped us with lost luggage on our flight, and ensured we had a comfortable stay.

Amazing Villa and location.

This Villa was perfect in every way. Close to resort, beach and all amenities. Very clean, modern and spacious. We were a family of 6 including 4 teenagers who absolutely loved it. Easy bus route to Protaras and Ayia Napa. Lovely stroll to the beach out the back gate 2 mins walk. We would definitely EE come down this villa and will be booking again for next year. Thanks to Paul our in resort manager who looked after us and to Daryl from Milbrooke letting who ensured we were well catered for in arrival.

Returning to 'Athena' for the 4th Year in a row!

Returning to 'Athena Villa' we were welcomed by Ian who had already made sure that everything would be in perfect order for us to enjoy a perfect holiday. The villa is spacious, nicely furnished and fully equipped, located at 2mn walk to the sandy beach of Pernera and very close to many shops and restaurants. We enjoyed the beautiful swimming pool, family barbecues, ping-pong tournaments and fun nights-out. It has been a great holiday and we are already looking forward to our next year visit!..

Wonderful location and comfortable villa

Villa lived up to my expectations. Beautiful location and easy to find restaurants. Ann and Ian welcomed us and gave us useful information on the area. Liked it so much we have booked to go back next year.

Comfortable and really well placed

It was a pleasure staying at the Athena Beach. The villa is spacious, clean, comfortable and had all the modern conveniences you would come to expect. The pool was a hit with our boys and is a reasonable size for doing laps. Additionally the owners Ian and Anne had thoughtfully left a number of pool accessories, noodles, water guns, balls etc which made time in the pool more enjoyable. The villa is situated in a convenient location, 2 minutes through the garden down a private path to the local beach and within a 5 minute walk to local shops, bars and restaurants. Although the villa backs onto a hotel it was nevertheless very quiet and felt secluded. The villa itself is in small gated community which seemed to be populated by local Cypriots who appeared only at the weekend. When the sun got too hot the children were entertained by the playstation and DVD player (UK region). The free wifi was also a plus. A nice surprise was the UK plug sockets so an adapter isn't needed. Ian and Anne were very friendly and helpful and recommended a fabulous local car hire company Platon who both delivered and picked up the car and also picked us up and brought us back to the airport. All in all a very enjoyable and comfortable stay, receiving the thumbs up from us! Last but not least a big thank you to Daryl at Millbroome Holiday Lettings he was so efficient helpful and accommodating - customer service as it should be!

wonderfull villa and wonderfull service by all

From start to finish the service from Daryl was outstanding and the team in Cyprus were very helpful.The villa is lovely in a quiet area but with lots to hand.....nothing but high praise for all and you wont be disappointed If booking.
