We enjoyed our stay at "The Cincinnati Charm" - it was clean and in a quiet neighborhood. It's an older home, so it has its quirks, but it was comfortable enough. The beds were a little soft for our taste, and the stairs are a little steep (just need to take care when going up/down). Unfortunately it was still too cold for us to enjoy the patio. Very spacious, and the kitchen seemed to be well stocked.

The house is in a very nice location, in a quiet neighborhood 7-10 minutes away from very many places, and the host was welcoming and willing to answer any questions i had.

Toilet paper holder was broken in the upstairs bathroom, towel rack was reattached in new holes and could barely hold two towel, the bathtub upstairs didn’t drain so you stood in water, there were holes in the walls where electrical outlets should have been, the closets had no poles in the so you couldn’t hang anything up, the kitchen was not stocked with enough silverware or dishware, flies everywhere, no exhaust fan in the downstairs bathroom.Kitchen lacked many of the cooking basics I expect in a rental. No tea kettle or even a Pyrex to microwave water. There was 1 pot 2 fry pan.

Great place fir the value. The family went to Ark Encounter, wake Nation, Freedom Center, and Cincinnati Museum as different day trips from this house. Bare bones accommodations, but it is all we needed.

Lovely home

Very nice clean home, very cozy with beautiful furniture, check in process went very smoothly. We truly enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay here again!! I highly recommend this home for anyone staying in Cincinnati.

We stayed in this house with our children. Their hands and knees were black from playing on the floor. The doors don’t shut in the house. The upstairs toilet does not completely flush. The bathtub does not fill due to a poor plug seal. All the furniture has practically no cushion. The stairs are super steep, no way to gate the bottom of the stairs. The parking on the street is atrocious. There is a neighbor that sits out and smokes the devils lettuce so you constantly smell it. We also found a joint in the backyard. This house is not suitable for children, adults only. Outlets do not work, bulbs were burnt out. There was only one lamp in the living room. Most lamps did not have bulbs. The TV barely worked, major lag and no streaming service, it was logged in on another guest vs the owner. They only offered two rolls of toilet paper per bathroom. You cannot fit an suv in the driveway, it is very narrow with rock walls, so it’s essentially street park on a crowded street. Otherwise it was a great location, just needs some minor adjustments and some safety features for families.

In the middle of the day we were scheduled to arrive, we received a message from the property management company informing us that the A/C had broken and they were canceling our reservation.We were already traveling from different parts of the country to attend events honoring a dear friend who had passed away, so this cancellation created a significant and unexpected inconvenience. The only alternative they offered was another property located about 30 minutes farther from the events we needed to attend.We had to scramble to find accommodations while we were already traveling, and the only available option we could find cost twice as much as our original reservation. Had we been given more advance notice, we would have had the opportunity to find more reasonably priced accommodations.I asked whether the property management company could cover, or at least contribute toward, the additional cost caused by the last-minute cancellation. They declined to offer any assistance.We understand that unexpected maintenance issues can happen, but the lack of advance notice and the refusal to help offset the significant additional expense made an already difficult trip considerably more stressful. Unfortunately, based on our experience, we would not book this property again.

When we arrived, we found that several aspects of the property were not as represented or expected. Much of the furniture appeared to be old, worn, and very unstable specially the 4 dining room chairs, no fire extinguisher, steps leading downstairs not adequate for walking up and down. This significantly affected our comfort and confidence in using the furnishings provided. Also, in the second bedroom night stand and electrical socket did not work.Our primary concern, however, was the air conditioning. We were informed that the air conditioning unit was not functioning properly the day of travel. This immediately put me in a tough spot because all the other locations where very far from my conclave Convention.despite the fact that our reservation had been made months in advance, in September, for our stay in July. Given the amount of time between booking and our arrival, we were surprised and very disappointed that there was any issue at all.

Nice property

The property was nice. It was pretty much exactly as described in the listing. The only reason we couldn’t give it 5 stars were there were a few things we’ve become accustomed to being available at rentals (games, hairdryer, furniture to unpack into, extra blanket for the chilly nights) that weren’t available. But the property was more than adequate for our needs.

The entrance was 12 stairs to many but then after entering the house had more stair to climb. Only one Tv in the house. The home was equipped with clean sheets and towels and beds and that was our biggest concern . No complaints

Not home, but served its purpose

To be fair, my expectations were probably higher than they should have been. Upon arrival, there were a couple of cop cars on the road at another residence, so that made me feel uneasy about the neighborhood but at the same time, comfortable knowing that they responded to whatever situation was happening. The storm door was wide open when we pulled in and wouldn't close, though they were willing to fix it immediately if we felt it was necessary.

Quiet neighborhood

Overall we had a good stay. There were a few items that i feel would have made cooking at the house a bit easier. There were no sharp knives, pizza cutter, scissors, or containers to keep leftovers/cut up fruit available. Everything else was sufficient. The toilets and sinks are very slow to drain, just fyi. The beds were ok but not something i would want to sleep in for more than a couple nights. A small dresser in the bedrooms would have been very helpful so we didnt have to live out of the suitcases or stavk everything on the desk that was in the room. Neighborhood was very quiet and calm since it is on a dead end road. We had a problem with the locks during our stay and they were very quick to get them fixed. Enjoyed our stay as a family of 7

Bare bones property

The property was in a nice residential area on a dead-end street with available street parking. The driveway was very narrow. The updated kitchen was nice but lacked spices and knives for food prep. We made do. There also were very few baking pans/dishes. We had to cook our salmon on a cast iron pizza pan and then cook pizza on it the next day. Plenty of towels, bathrooms were nice. Stairs up to the house were challenging with luggage as were the stairs to the upstairs. Narrow and steep with the last step on both a little more so. There wasn’t a way to watch live tv but the smart television had several apps loaded and wifi was available. We were not in the house all that much as we were working from 7:00am to as late as 10:00pm. I will recommend using a bath mat in the upstairs shower as the tub was very slick.
