Bask in panoramic views at this 4-bed, 3-bath home which overlooks Lake Michigan. "The Blue Heron" boasts your own private beach, large backyard, beautifully landscaped oasis and a spacious, thoughtfully furnished interior including a 12-person dining table. When finished enjoying the beautiful beach, step out and explore the numerous wineries, golf courses and boutiques nearby.

3,000 square foot space with indoor fireplace, year round sun room and all the amenities to enjoy indoors and out

Guests will have full private access to enjoy the entire home and property, including the private beach. Guests will access the home via a smartlock using a secure code which will be sent via email.

A brand new set of stairs to the beach were installed in March of 2025 with a beautiful 16x16 deck overlooking the lake. The stairs are gradual with resting spots along the way.

Perfect location, just minutes from downtown St. Joseph, and Silver Beach, which boasts a beautiful public beach complete with carousel and splash pad for kids.

The beautiful fall foliage and festive winter environment make this home a year round destination. Beautiful indoor stone fireplace helps keep everyone warm and cozy on cold Michigan evenings.

OUTDOOR OASIS: Private deck, gas grill, hot tub, fire table, beach towels, yard & garden, private beach views/access.

INDOOR FEATURES: 3 Smart TVs, stone fireplace, board games, books, dining table, garage equipped with indoor basketball, ping pong and TV lounge area.

Our blue heron visit

Wonderful place with plenty of room and many extra items include included. Toys for the kids towels, beach chairs, and a well stocked coffee bar.

The house was wonderful, the inside was clean and spacious. There was a number of amenities that were provided by the host; bathroom towels, beach towels, bath products, a number of utensils and cookware, coffees, teas, games to name a few things. The host was very easy to get ahold of and the very minor things that came up during our stay were resolved very quickly. There are a few stairs to get down to the beach, we enjoyed counting them, but there are benches and landings all the way up to rest if needed. I highly recommend this property and we can’t wait to come back

End of summer getaway to paradise!

The Blue Heron absolutely surpassed our expectations! Our family of four traveled with another family of four, and no one wanted to leave the property for the duration of our stay (kids included)! We were greeted with a lovely welcome gift, and immediately noticed the stunning views! The beach is beautiful, and the privacy provides such a serene, peaceful atmosphere. Having two master suites was so convenient! The beds are very comfortable, and the hot tub is the perfect way to unwind at the end of a long day, or start the day with coffee and a gorgeous sunrise over the water. The kitchen is well-stocked and spacious, and we enjoyed the ease of cooking meals together without feeling like we were constantly in each other's way or on top of one another. The beach towels sand toys provided for the kids were much appreciated, as well as the firewood for a lovely beach bonfire in the evenings. We were able to get to restaurants and stores, if needed, within 10 minutes or less, but honestly we didn't leave the property often. We would definitely return in the future!
