Det finns 2 verandor och härlig privat inhägnad, anlagd trädgård. Vädret blir bättre och bättre efter Labor Day, perfekt för golf, båtliv, fiske och cykling. Atlantic Beach, Emerald Isle, Cape Lookout Nat’l Seashore, ponnyer från Shackleford Banks och Carrot Island inom 40 minuters bilresa. Fågelskådning vid kroatiska nationalskogen, NC Aquarium, Core Sound Waterfowl Museum i närheten. Kom ner, parkera bilen, gå / cykla överallt, koppla av och vara en townie i en vecka, månad, säsong. Var särskilt uppmärksam på husdjursbegränsningar.

The location of this home was excellent to historic New Bern! The home has so much charming character. Every local we encountered was friendly & helpful. If you're looking to spend time in a very historic place, this should be on your list of places to visit & this home should be definitely considered. The host was very accommodating. Highly recommend.

Repeat guests, another great stay!

My husband and I plus our two found children had a wonderful stay at Kristine’s property. The house is in a great location, a short walk to downtown and right next to Tyron place. The house itself is beautifully decorated, including lots of stunning original artwork by the owner herself, we are looking forward to returning!

Perfect Fall Trip

First of all, this house has so much character. From the artwork to the historic ambience, this was such a welcoming and lovely home. We were in town for the Fun in the Sun car show which was held downtown and there was no need to drive anywhere with everything in such close proximity. The host made sure to check in on us after our arrival and made sure that we felt welcome. The neighbors were kind and provided excellent recommendations for first time visitors. This will not be my last trip to this beautiful city!

Family wedding

There was plenty of room for those of us staying. It was nice having 2 sitting rooms to give the kids a little space of their own. It was perfectly located to everywhere we needed to be. Host was very accommodating, and very responsive.

Emotional Weekend

We were in town for my father’s memorial service. The location was exception- walking distance to downtown, places to eat and drink. The house was extremely comfortable, well appointed and comforting during an emotional weekend. The lovely setting and easy flow of the house allowed us to be together and be a respite for a difficult time. Highly recommend.

Cozy stay

The Smith House was a very cozy home and the owner was excellent with quick communications. I wish we had more time in the home to enjoy the various amenities like the screened in back porch, fireplaces and firepit. I would definitely recommend staying here!

Great location and character!

My husband, our 2 little schipperkes and I spent 4 days in this wonderful, charming house in New Bern. The location is easily walkable to downtown New Bern plus a wonderful little breakfast spot as well as a wine bar. Bed was comfortable and everything we needed was there! Thank you!

Historic New Bern

Charming 1900 property with a space for everyone; living room, dining room, family room, outdoor seating. I believe it is the home of an artist, lots of paintings to admire. If you love old homes with character, this is the one for you!

Annual Weekend in New Bern

We had another fantastic weekend in New Bern. As always, Kippy’s home was just perfect. We appreciate the closeness to breweries and downtown- all within walking distance. The short drive to Atlantic Beach is also great! Thank you for sharing your New Bern Home with us once again!

A little slice of heaven

The property was very comfortable with all the character of home built in the early 1900's. There were great spaces to be together and also to break away for quiet time. The location was extremely convenient and walkable to downtown. I would highly recommend this property.

Granddaughter’s christening

Very comfortable

This place was very comfortable, and so clean! It was nice that the three of us each had our own. The location was good, especially if you don’t mind walking a few blocks to the shops and restaurants. Two of us were having some difficulty walking due to recent injuries, so we ended up having to drive the few blocks.

Comfortable home, great location

Extremely friendly and helpful host. Perfect location. We walked and biked everywhere. She provided 2 well-maintained bikes. Roomy, comfortable house. Wonderful art all over the home that we enjoyed a great deal. Highly recommend!
